Glossy Box Review: January 2012

This month's box came a bit late because they wanted to make it just in time for Valentine's day! And omg... I just LOVE the packaging!! It BEATS the Christmas box hands down... I LOVE THE HOT PINK!!! :D

I love every bit of detail in this month's packaging! Even the cute heart sticker is adorable!!

Also got a lil sweet in the box too!

EYEKO - Skinny Eyeliner (Midnight blue)

Full Size: £9.50

I tried this out for work as soon as I received the box and within one hour of being at work my liner was smudged everywhere! I looked like a panda... Not impressed... It glides on really nicely though and if you wanted to smudge it out for like a smokey look, then this liner does that well! The design is also good because you can use it til the very end and it won't be a short stubby pencil that's hard to use as there's the silver end bit that's there to hold onto!

CLARINS - Extra Firming Night Cream

Full Size: £48/50ml

This cream works quite well, I applied it on before I slept and woke up with my skin still feeling moisturised :D I like the Clarins skincare range I just can't afford to buy their products!! :( so it was a bonus to receive these small samples in my box :D love love!

CLARINS - Extra Firming Day Cream

Full Size £46.50/50ml

The day cream works just as well, in winter I tend to have really dry skin especially when I just come out of the shower... So when I applied this on, this really helped moisturise those dry patches and kept it nice and soft :)

FAB - Body Moisturiser

Full Size: £13.00/226.8g

On the label it tells you to apply this straight after bathing to lock in moisture, so I did and my skin felt nice and soft right away :D The cream is light and easy to apply and dries up quick so no stickiness! But there is a bit of a waxy feeling to it! I always test these moisturising products on the driest area and see how it affects them and results looks/feels good :)

MURAD - Hybrids Skin Perfecting Primer - Dewy Finish

Full Size: £29.00/30ml

This is very light and glides on really easily and dries up really quick! I just used my fingers to do this cos I don't see no point of using a brush.. Because it's light you can't feel that there's anything on your face so that's always good :) I hate the feeling of my skin being clogged up with a ton of make up! I quite like this primer! I have too many primers and make up base from Glossy Box now... LOL What to use....

So that's the end of January's box! And I'm not disappointed :) Looking forward to next month's box!! :)

CNY Part 2

My 2nd CNY event was at PlayKrown on Saturday night!

Was a good outcome and got pretty packed! But before getting there I had such a hectic time trying to find a parking space!!! Took me like over an hour!!! -___- was suppose to meet Lilian and grab something to eat/drink with her and have a lil catch up but it just took me forever to find parking that I told her to just come in the car with me and we'll drive around to find a space!! Found one that was about 6mins (according to googlemaps) walk away from the club.

Got there and it was a slow start but got more filled later! Not much happened really, just danced and took pictures like always lol so here are a few pics :)

There was a pole in the club but it wasn't for pole dancing I don't think cos it was too thick to be used to pole dance on! I couldn't even grip onto it properly... But yeah it was fun to pose with it still haha :P

Night ended a bit after 2 for some reason and I just left to go home cos my feet were killing!! Really are some killer heels! On the way back was a trek cos I was trying to find this petrol station that my boss went to that was quite cheap compared to the ones near me.. And I reallllyyyy need to top up as my petrol light was flashing!! Used up quite a bit trying to find parking! Sad times... In the end I still couldn't find the station so I called up my boss to ask him and then finally found it. Should have just asked in the beginning -___- That took me like half an hour too!! Was just a wasteful night that day!!! Grrrrr! Got home and was just exhausted, sped all the way home cos I just wanted to be in bed! So that was my night! Nothing else happened... Sorry to bore you all lol bleh hope everyone has had a good year so far :)

A New Red!

My last red was fading to ORANGE so I had to redye ASAP! I did more research on colours and how they came out on people this time instead of just looking at the sample colour online... And I must say... I LOVE MY NEW COLOUR!!! This was the colour I wanted from the beginning when I went red... Anyway here it is :)

So what do you think?? Better than the previous red right?

Hopefully this doesn't fade to orange... Cos I still have traces of the old dye in my hair... I WANT IT TO FADE TO A PINK!!!

Happy Chinese New Year :)

This day is worldly known as "Chinese" New Year but it's new year for all the east Asian countries too! So that aside... May this year bring you and you family happiness, wealth and prosperity !! :)

This year I celebrated it in London at Chi Nights! Last year, I was in Birmingham and then flew off to Vietnam 2 days later and celebrated with family there! I can't believe how fast the year went by!!

On Saturday after work, me and James headed to Kpop as we were gonna spend a bit of time there first and then go Chi Nights after! But once we arrived people were still queuing to get in!! The bar had went over its capacity so it was on a one-out-one-in system. In the end we didn't go in and was just talking to friends outside that were in the smoking area lol after like an hour we decided to head to Chi Nights! Bien also joined us :)

Chi Nights was held at The o2 and it was such a long walk to get to the club.. When we reached the entrance the security guards were being strict about entry cos it was like 2:30am and they wouldn't let anyone in unless you had tickets! So I had to call Tommy and Michelle to ask them to bring out tickets for us but it took a while and more people were trying to get in so in the end security called someone to bring out the guestlist and if you were on you could go in. By then James didn't want to go in any more so told me and Bien to go in and he'll wait for us in the car. We felt bad that he didn't come in with us :( but Bien needed the loo so we ended up staying for a bit...

Got inside and the club was pretty big!! Saw quite a few friends there as well!! Barely knew anyone that went Kpop.. Everyone was here.. lool spent a bit o time just looking for people and danced a bit and took some pics!

Birthday Girl!

I had quite a few comments and compliments on my hair that night haha just everyone calling me "The Little Mermaid" and saying "Woah! Your hair is SO bright!" lool

Think we stayed there around 2 hours and oh my the end was madness! A few fights broke out and was still continuing when I left and it was just insane! Police were everywhere... Boys running around everywhere... Police chasing them beating them with batons and pinning them to the ground... Blood and ripped clothes... Just CRAZY!!! No idea how it started but yeah... Madness... Some of the officers were just hitting some boys that I saw no point to... They weren't even violently beating anyone... They were probably over hyped that there was some action going on and they got to look all powerful beating them with their batons...

With that all going on we finally got to James car and went home. There was so much standing around outside that night that I became quite ill next morning :( So that was my night!! Most probably going to PlayKrown's event on Saturday too, so UNTIL THEN!!

Red Head ;)

Once again I've changed my hair colour hahaha I'm making the most of my blonde hair cos I can dye it any colour I want!! Because the pink had already faded and Chinese New Year is coming up, I thought it would be the perfect time to go red!! :D

I used semi-permanent dyes because it was the only ones I found that I liked the colour of!! But there was ONE that was sold out so I didn't quite get the colour I wanted but the turn out was still nice :)

Here was the outcome!!

Before it was like this, my roots were slightly orange so I used my left over pink dye from the last dye job and went over the roots and actually made it so much better!!

The dyes used were:

Stargazer - Rouge

La Riche Directions - Poppy Red & Vermilion Red

Smart Beauty - Smart Highlights Carmine Pink

When using these dyes you want to wash your hair with a ph balanced shampoo NO CONDITIONER and just towel dry your hair. Then apply the dye on top and leave for like 15-30mins! I had to use all three red dyes to cover all of my hair and it was JUST about enough... So If your hair is around my length and you want to use these brands I suggest 4 pots...

And I wouldn't really suggest the Smart Beauty dyes cos it FADES so quickly... But that might be because I diluted it with conditioner when I went pink... And cos it was only HIGHLIGHTS you don't get much product either!! It did dye through my black roots though! :)

That's about it really!! Oh, the Vermilion Red has like an orange base to it so when it fades... My hair will be orange... When that happens, I will redye this to another colour... lol

Not using any peroxide though so shouldn't be any damage to my hair...

Vivienne's Birthday Dinner

On Friday, Vivienne invited her close girlies out for dinner at Barbecoa - Jamie Oliver & Adam Perry Lang restaurant!

There wasn't a lot of options in the menu but everything sounded great! I had a hard time deciding what dish I wanted!! The prices for these dishes were a tad pricey, so I would recommend going here on special occasions! Unless you actually can afford it then it would be fine as a casual dinner!

Here's a group pic of all of us! If you're wondering why there's only a few main with this many of us it's because a few dishes were ordered more than once and I don't see the point of taking pics of everyone's meal if it's the same!

Every girl on the table were constantly taking pics throughout the dinner... It was either of the food or with each other haha the other girls took way more photos that I did... For once I wasn't the one hogging to take photos loool

And also.. Another new thing... I WAS THE ONLY ONE TO CLEAN MY PLATES! I actually finished EVERYTHING I ordered. Scraped clean... haha I was amazed myself at how much I ate!! I would usually be the one to get full first after eating hardly anything... Or maybe my food was just that nice that I didn't want to waste it... :P

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2012

A belated Happy New Year to you guys!! :)

I hope everyone had a good start to the year and may this year be more amazing than the last!!

I didn't do much on New Years Eve cos I was feeling a bit lazy but went out during the day with John, my sis and her boyfriend :)

Went to play some games at the Arcade and John lost every game he played... LOOOL! Him and Nam (Emma's BF) played pool which he lost 3-0, played me once and lost to that as well... Had a go on that Hammer thing that tests your strength and he lost that to Nam.. Then the punch bag and lost to that too LOL and us 3 had a go at shooting some hoops and Nam got 2 points, John got 4 points and I got 9 Mwahahahaaa Twas fun hehe

Afterwards we went back to my mom's and it was OPERATION: PINK HAIR time!!

For the New Year I wanted to try out Pink hair, it's something new and fun :) and while I still have blonde hair I can dye it any colour and it will turn out great :D

My Birthday Part 2

On my ACTUAL birthday (30th) I went for a meal with some of my close friends :) Had some Korean Food!!! :D

John and Viv surprised me with cakes!! Awwww!! We were pointing at it cos it got a bit smooshed.... They said it was the restaurants fault lool we even tried to argue about not paying service charge cos it's in the law that we can refuse to pay the charge but the restaurant said we still had to pay it because they gave us the service. A few even looked up on Google about that law haha we still ended up paying the charge.. Hmmmm

My Birthday Part 1

On the 28th I held a party with PlayKrown (my Friend's event)! It was a pretty good night and club got filled!

Beforehand, I went to my friend Jenny's house to get ready with her and was tryna rush everything!! I wanted to get to the club by 10pm but we took a bit longer and got there just before 11pm and oh my.. queue was already long!!!

Spent most of the night going all over the place saying hi to everyone and trying to get my friends in! Still had a good time though and even got a few gifts awwwww :) I'm really thankful, felt so loved !

So I had to ask them to resend it, cos I was unsure on whether it would arrive on time I placed an order for a new dress with next day delivery and they both arrived before my party so I ended up wearing both!!

A bit late with the review! Sorry! December is always a busy month for me!! Hope everyone had a good Christmas :)

Another great box this month from GlossyBox :D I love all the products ! I also love the Red box it came in!

So this month's box I got the following:

BLINK+Go Hi-Definition Mascara

Full Size £14.99 / 8g

I actually really like this mascara! Really does make my lashes seem longer and thicker! Did need to apply a few coats though, but still LOVE IT!! And it's waterproof!! It really does do what it says :)

CARGO COSMETICS Classic Lip Gloss

Full Size £10.00

This goes on really nicely and isn't as sticky as most glosses, if wearing it when windy with hair down do expect some hair stickage to your lips... lol the colour of this is quite nice too but when choosing glosses I prefer pink shades!!

DEEBORAH LIPPMANN Razzle Dazzle Mini Nail Varnish With Stripped To Go Sachet

I love the colour of this!! I needed around 2/3 coats for a full opaque coating though! The polish is really pretty :) I wore this for Christmas and my Birthday! Matched my dresses well! Looking at the full price for this, it's a bit expensive... So I don't think I would actually buy it..

MEMEME Seventh Heaven

Another priming cream!! LOL now I have 2 I can choose to use... One from last month and this one from this month!! But this is a less amount so I won't be using this as much just to save it :) It's a creamy texture and my skin does feel nourished after using it, nice nice :D

RITUALS Foaming Shower Gel

I'm not fond of the smell of Mandarin but I like the foamy texture :D Not too bad for the price either! I would like to try the other scents!

Overall I love this month's box too hehe now waiting for January's one! Apparently it will come a bit late this month, let's hope it's worth the wait!

Been A Bit MIA!

November was a bit of a dry month for me... Didn't really get up to much so I lacked in blog posts! Sorry about that!

Since the last Manchester Halloween party, I went up AGAIN!! LOL! My money is going rapidly... -__-

This time it was MOS's White party!! Dressed in all white :)

Didn't like many white dresses that I saw online so just bought whatever!!

Didn't take a large group pic... :( was a bit disappointed with that!! The night in general was good fun :) I'm starting to come here a lot now...!! Making me so broke!!

Glossy Box Review: November 2011

Anyway, I've tried the products and I love this months box too!! :)

NAIL ROCK - DESIGNER NAIL WRAPS

Full Size: £6.65

I haven't exactly tried these out yet because I haven't had any special occasions to wear them out on!!! And I don't want to waste it just so I can review it... So I'll save it for next time!! I will most probably wear these for my birthday this month !! Looks really good though!!

ARBONNE FC5 - COOLING FOOT CREME

Full Size: £19.00 / 118ml

My feet aren't exactly rough/dry to see much of a drastic result... But they do keep them soft!! Better to prevent than cure right?? Comes to good use for winter because my skin tends to go dry! The smell... Needs a bit of getting used to... Not that fond of it to be honest!

MONU - SKIN PERFECTOR

Full Size: £16.25 / 50ml

I actually really like this!! Been meaning to buy something like this for a while but haven't had the money to go buy any! It works great as a make up base and it's not oily, just feels like a moisturiser! It's also the full sized product!! Love it!

SERGE LUTENS

Full Size: 100ml / £86.00 or 50ml / £78.00

L'EAU SERGE LUTENS (white)

I much prefer this smell than to the other one... It has a sort of "clean" smell to it

VITRIOL D'OEILLET (black)

This has a flowery incense sort of smell?

Overall, these two smells aren't exactly my type of smell that I would go for, so I wouldn't really buy these!

DEAD SEA SPA MAGIK - DEAD SEA BATH SALTS

Full Size: £5.50 / 1kg

I've always wanted to try dead sea products because I hear a lot of hype on them! I tried them out using it in replacement of my normal exfoliator and this really does make my skin all nice and soft :D There's other uses for these salts too such as relieving aching joints and muscular pains! So not just for a healthy skin complexion and smoother appearance! If I ever get any aches/pains I will definitely give these salts a try!

Halloween in Manchester!

Part 1!

On my last night in Bham I stayed with Ling cos Jenny has work in the morning and I didn't want to make her stay behind so she could take me to the station and Ling had an hour gap free near to my train time so it was easier that way! Next morning she didn't even go to uni.. LOL tut tut

Headed to Manc from Bham in the afternoon, met up with Tam and Toai and went to do last min shopping for their halloween outfit for Tuesday's event! Went to check in at a hotel near theirs cos I had nowhere else to stay... :(

Got ready at around 10, was even contemplating on whether I should even go or not cos I was just so tired after waking up from my nap!! But in the end I did cos this would have been a wasted trip otherwise!!

My Outfit :)

Jimmy came by with Tam and Toai and drove us to the club and oh my gosh... queue was quite long... and the VIP queue didn't even move for half an hour... It was cold AND raining!! Bouncer was being an ass and wouldn't let anyone in! When we finally DID get in, the room was PACCCKKKEEEDDDD Boyyyy!!! Sheesh!! Maybe that's why no one was let in... There was barely any space to MOVE let alone dance.... I ended up chilling up in VIP most the time cos it was more roomy and I had somewhere to sit!!

So many people dressed up!! Like actually MADE an effort! Was good to see the halloween spirit in everyone :) I went quite casual cos I really can't afford to buy THREE outfits... 2 already killed my pockets... -__-

The clubbbbb!! Was wayyy more packed than this when I first arrived though!

I look so sweatyyy ewwww!! Danced a lot that night!

Club closed at 4am so we all headed out... Was meant to go back with Tam and Toai cos I was going same way, but Toai already disappeared and only Tam was left. So I hung about waiting for Tam and walked to Jimmy's car thinknig that he was taking us back... But no he wasn't!!! And then Tam LEFT thinking that I left... And then I was just stranded!! Jimmy said he's going the totally opposite way so can't take me back so then I had to take a taxi, which I got totally ripped off on!! FFS... Just made me even more pissed off than I already was!! Just not a good ending to the night.... sigh....

Overall, the club was good and I danced loads just at the end it got ruined! What a shame!

Part 2!

Had to check out of hotel by 12pm so I woke up at 11am to shower and pack all my stuff and then go over to Tam's place as I didn't have anywhere else to go and it was a walk away!

Went to dimsum at Tai Wu with everyone, Nelson's treat! Thank you Nelson!!! :)

So full!!! There was 9 of us all together and got 15 dishes I think? lol Afterwards went with Jimmy, Nelson, Sana and Emily for some milkshake! I didn't get one though cos I was still full from everything! Headed back to Nelson's and the boys when gym whilst I took a nap.. haha

Boys got back and we all started making dinner! I was on the marinating and cooking the chicken duty.. Tam and Jimmy was on salad duty and Toai was washing up duty LOL

After dinner we started getting ready around 10!! Didn't leave til 12ish??

Side Story:

Tam & Toai wanted BLACK wings but shopped too last min and there wasn't any in stock so they both got WHITE wings but still wanted black and was thinking to dye it. I saw black hair spray and suggested they use that, which in the end they actually did... LOL so it explains why their wings looks a bit greyish...

Got to the club and didn't even need to queue much walked right in! And for once it was not a "cock fest" loool! More girls came than guys!! The theme of the night was heaven and hell. I saw wayyyy more angels than devils though... I even saw 2 other girls in same outfit as me! and another who was in same outfit but the white version..! :O I expected it though... Damn Ann Summers! LOL

Overall had a great time with my friends :D I love dressing up!!! hehe

After club we all went to McDonald's and then went back to Jason's house cos that was where I stayed for the night!! And that's it!! Had a great Halloween this year! Also the one where I've spent the most at too!! -____- I'm so broke right now!! Need to hibernate from partying so I can save on some money... My blog has just been filled with so many parties!! LOL club-a-holic ... not a good addiction to have... I'll try blog other things in the meantime :) Anything you wanna see on here??

Halloween Party in BIRMINGHAM!

Last night was Birmingham's halloween party!! I booked my tickets here a week in advance and was all planned to go with Jenny but then plans got changed last min :( She couldn't come cos of work and I'm actually staying in her apartment alone... lol

Did some last min shopping for an outfit and this was the best I could do for VAMPIRE!

I went to the club with Ling, her and her friends came by in the taxi and picked me up! Didn't actually see her for the rest of the night though... :/

I ended up buying a meet & greet ticket to secure myself a slot to see the guys before they head back home!! :( But in the end I didn't even NEED to cos Rick got me in to hang with them in VIP for the entire time instead of being kicked out after meeting & greeting!! Awwwww :) Love Rick!! He tried getting me into their Private Area near the stage but weren't allowed.. lol so had to wait til 2am before I could hang with them!

Overall... Been to 2/3 of their UK performances and each one has been livveeeee! The guys did a great job! Well done guys!! YOU ROCKED IT! UK LOVES YOUUUUUU!!! I will continue supporting from over here :)

Back at Jenny's now and will be alone for another night!! Then on Monday I'm heading off to Manchester's Halloween party!! Also one where I will going alone... WHAT IS THIS?!! Lone wolf... :(

Tuesday night was just amazing... If you read my blog you would have known that it was the Traphik & Lil Crazed event ! Cos I was promoting for the event my friend that was in charged let me come and hang out back stage with them before they performed :) I was just too excited for words!

Before the event I went shopping in Stratford Westfields with Julie to buy an outfit cos we both had nothing to wear! Took a while for us to find something and once we did we headed back to Julie's, ate and then got ready! I left first to get there early as I got told I was allowed to come jam backstage. They were out eating when I arrived so had to jam a bit before I actually met them.

Once they got there I was just like... :O it's actually them! They look exactly like they do on YT, no different at all! I'd been tweeting Rick for past 2 days so I was like "Rick! It's Jenny from twitter!" And he's like "oohh hi!" And Tim was behind like "Oh, JennyLycious" LOL I got haps that he knew of me lmao so sad... Then I introduced myself to Alex aka Lil Crazed :D

Had fun hanging out with them backstage, so unreal at first but I adjusted to it. Acted a bit like a fan girl at times though.. Lol Even got Rick to teach me how to dougie! haha I was doing it all wrong before.. LOL Rick suggested that me and Elaine should come on stage with them when they're doing Chunk Dirty to just dance and shake our asses but I was like Noooo... That's so embarrassing haha

Took a lot of pics with everyone too!! Oh and talking of pics, Tim & Rick said that I live up to my pictures Woooo!!! Dunno if they're just saying that though... lol So yeh here are the pics :)

Sleepy heads!

All prepped for their performance!

Tim&Rick was first being Chunk Dirty!! They did 2 songs I think or was it 3... Then later Lil Crazed came on and did a few songs and then at the end Tim joined and they did BEDROCK together! Loved it!!! And to end it off they did Say Ahh and brought the staff out to dance on stage too lool! Amazing performances from everyone :) dope!

Alex got ATTACKED by fan girls just pulling on his clothes and that... One girl pulled on his tie that I thought he was gonna fall off the stage... She wanted his tie and in the end he actually took it off to give it to her bless him!! And another girl took his hat?? But he got that back after somehow.. lol

Tim dived into the crowd TWICE! LOL 2nd time was a lot messier shall I say... got grabbed onto and didn't really move much was so funny! Thought he was gonna get swallowed up!! I caught the first dive on cam but not the 2nd!! SO gutted! Was the better one too! And Rick was just so funny, after the performance he came into the room and I asked how was it and he goes "I never got my penis touched so many times at a show" LMFAO!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Such a joker! I love Rick hahaha All the guys are fun to be with love them all!!! I have a video of them doing a British accent too xD

After their performance they went to do a meet and greet with everyone that bought the ticket and it got quite full!! I bought a Tee from Lil Crazed, was a bit disappointed that Tim didn't bring any of his Tees to sell!! :(

After that they all went down to the club and danced with everyone :) They hardly got to dance much though cos everyone kept surrounding them for photos, felt a bit sorry for them at times cos it really does look like they just wanna dance but too nice to say anything? I bombarded them enough backstage LOL

Had so much fun!! Oh and a random thing... I also got these 3 guys come up to me that wanted to take a pic with me as well? That's a first.. hahaha prob noticed me cos I was on stage a lot during performance recording lool I wanna see these photos!! Hmmm....

Overall I had the most amazing time and experience and feel so lucky to have had the chance to hang out with them for just a bit! I love YouTube for existing because without it, I would not have met these amazing guys :) They're all so nice and loving towards their fans! It's so nice to see that :') Will prob see them again when I'm in Birmingham for the Halloween event cos the guys will be performing there too woop!

Have You Ever Wondered...

I was meant to write this up months ago but I kept forgetting about it! But better late than never I suppose! So... You know how you sometimes wonder how long you should use certain cosmetic products for or when you should throw them away ? Well, the actual products actually tell you themselves..! Just like an expiry date on food products!

Ever wondered what these symbols meant?

That's the recommended time period that you should use those products for from opening! "Period after opening (PAO)" I found this out earlier this year through Tumblr and have been meaning to share this for ages now... lol sorry for the lateness!!

If not obvious already, the "M" stands for Months and the numbers is how many months. There's a time limit on the products because bacteria starts growing in them, and to be honest, you don't want to keep using a bacteria infested product on your face! You'll end up getting infections and nasty skin irritations etc.

Here's some useful tips...!

Making Your Products Last
Here are some easy tips for prolonging the shelf life of your products, while keeping your skin and body as healthy as possible:

-DO store products in a cabinet or drawer
-DO wash your hands before using products
-DO tighten/secure the cap after each use
-DO consider how climate and humidity will shorten a product's shelf life
-DO write the date of purchase in permanent ink (use a Sharpie) on the bottom or back of the package
-DO toss out eye products after you've had an eye infection
-DO abide by the expiration dates on sunscreens, acne products, and prescription medications such as topical antibiotics and Renova or Retin-A

-DON'T buy products packaged in jars of any kind (no matter how pretty they are!) because fingers getting into jars add unwanted bacteria to the contents. Most jar packaging carries a 100% risk of bacterial contamination.
-DON'T store products in direct sunlight
-DON'T share your products with others
-DON'T add water or saliva to thin out or remoisten products
-DON'T "pump" your mascara
-DON'T purchase products with broken seals or other signs of tampering

I need to abide by these... Cos I've found that I actually do what I'm not suppose to.. lol oopsie! No wonder I got an eye infection... Haven't even thrown out those products I used.... Ahhhh!!! I used new products as well... What to do...

When I smelt these it gave off an impression that is more suited for older women... Something I would find my mom wearing... Very familiar smell though... Just can't put my mind to what perume... I rarely wear perfume so I can't really compare it to anything... Only to what I've smelt before when my mom wears them! Not too keen on Visa, but Francas and Calypso are okay. A very womanly smell haha I have no idea how to even describe perfume...

DERMALOGICA AGE SMART - MULTIVITAMIN THERMAFOLIANT:

Full size: 75ml / £40.50

Omg.. I actually love this! Made my skin feel baby smooth!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Don't know if it's just me, but my pores looks more refined! Not as large as I remember them being! I used this on DRY skin because it said that it will give you a more intense result and my did it! Will be buying this in the future (when I can afford it...).

DERMALOGICA AGE SMART - MULTIVITAMIN POWER RECOVER MASQUE

Full size: 70ml / £33

I thought this would be a clay type mask but its a gel base! It was like putting thick lotion all over my face! Left it on for 15 mins and then washed off with warm water. Ahhhh my skin felt so smooooth:D but damn! I'm loving this range!! I'm getting older as well so I might as well start off young using aging products to prevent rather than cure so THUMBS UP for this range! (Y)

STILA - SMUDGE STICK WATERPROOF EYELINER (In Moray)

I've never used this colour as an eyeliner in MY LIFE! I don't know when I would either? Maybe on random days where I just wear eyeliner, instead of my usual black liner I'll use this! The colour is nice and looks nice on brown eyes I must say, but I think I need to wear green/brown/neutral colour outfits so my eyes don't clash? Hmm I don't know need to experiment! The liner itself is great though! Glides on smoothly! It smudges but doesn't smear.

LEIGHTON DENNY EXPERT NAILS - COLOUR & CARE (Sex Kitten)

Full size: 12ml / £11

Don't usually wear blue polishes... So I was a bit skeptical about the colour... Why couldn't they give me the pink one (there was 3 colour choices btw... blue, pink, orangey red)?!! I tried it on anyway and gives my nails a very frosty look, perfect for winter! So may not wear this until a few more months... lol Only needed to apply 2 coats of this onto my nails :)

DERMALOGICA AGE SMART - RENEWAL LIP COMPLEX

Full Size 1.75ml / £22.50

A little does go a long way! I really like the glossy sort of lip gloss glow it gives :D and makes my lips nice and smooth too :) love it !

For those who don't know what a Glossy Box is, it's a company that sends you a variety of 5 high end products to try out every month! Sometimes full sized but mostly sample sizes! Still good for what you're paying for! It's £10 each month but does not include the P&P which is the downside... So you'll be paying £12.95 a month! You can cancel the subscription anytime, they tell you to do that 2 weeks prior to the dispatch date. You will receive your box on the second week of every month.

I only started to subscribe to them this month cos I was intrigued by what you get after having a look at previous boxes! I think everyone gets the same for now but in the future, the products might be chosen to your preference? At registration they give you a survey to do as your Beauty Profile and from there you can decide what you're more into and what you like! The products vary from make up, skin care, hair care, nail polishes and perfumes! Great for those that love to try and experiment with new things before buying the full thing!

I LOVE their packaging! So pretty :) It's like it's my birthday every month haha

London Part 2, Round 4!

So the LAST of my Freshers streak! I could have been to a lot more but money always gets in the way! BOOO! If only I was a millionaire... ANYWAY getting off track now...

The last party was celebrated in London. It was the ABACUS Ten:10 annual event! I never went to the previous ones so this was my first time!! It was good! Though there were a lot of international students there... haha

I went with Julie and this was the first time I clubbed with her actually!!! Was fun!! Headed to hers first cos I was gonna get ready with her and also was staying the night as well! So many firsts.... hahaha

We planned to leave around 9 to go pick up her friends and then head to club in case there was a long queue and we also needed to pick up our tickets! But didn't end up leaving til about half 9... lol Went to get Julie's friends and one of them forgot her ticket at home so had to drive back to hers to get it and then made our way to club... loool sigh... Ended up getting to club at 10:30 but weren't so bad cos there was no queue!! Yaayy!!! My friends Jenny & Ken also came down from Birmingham and was at the club at 9:30!! LOL crazy!! They were sitting in the cafe in the club eating when we arrived so we joined for a bit :P

After they ate we headed up to the main clubbing room and it got PACKED out through the night!! Like there was literally no space to walk through!!! :O Still had fun though :D

Julie got quite a few compliments and comments on how small her face is LOL I LOVE HER SMALL FACE!! I feel like a giant next to her! She has a really small frame too! Just a small girl in general haha so cute!! xD A real lads magnet this one ;) Some random guy also got a pic with her too... LOL too funny... xD and his friend was saying how amazing my hair is haha I was the only Asian Blonde girl there! YES! ;)

Julie had like 1 shot or 2... I can't remember and started feeling sleepy and just wanted to sleep ! TUT! I made her dance it off! And she was trying to get ME to drink as well!! I'm like.. I'm gonna be driving and I'm a super light weight!! She still forced one... I ended up doing half a shot.. LOL the whole thing I would have been sleepy too... haha

And then JENNY... Had llike 6-7 shots!!! And ended up throwing up 4 times in the night!! Oh deaarrrr....!!!! She came to the conclusion that she's probably allergic to it cos she wasn't even drunk lol she ended up leaving early cos she was tired and she was also going to PARIS at 8am that morning!! Crazzzyyyy!!

Got so hot they were helping to fan me LOL

They needed more FUNKY HOUSE! I was upset that Tribal man skank never came on... I requested it twice as well but DJ said that he had to calm it down as it was close to ending so asked if I wanted anything else so I said "Teach me how to dougie" and he let me have that one lol... Still wanted TRIBAL MANN SKANK!! I spent time and effort learning it T____T

We stayed til the very end and then I dropped everyone home before heading back to Julie's. I ended up making a nutella sandwich and she made us cups of tea... haha tea at night?? Yes... xD

Had a vaining moment with Julie's hat too haha

I didn't end up sleeping for long.. hour tops cos I couldn't sleep... Julie had to wake up at 8am anyway to get ready for uni. We went to McD's to get breakfast before I dropped her off. Yum yum :)

And that's about it!! Next event..... TRAPHIK AND LIL CRAZED @ Scala on Tuesday 25th!!! :D

London, Part 1 - Round 3!

Right...!! So round 3 was last night!!

It was my friend's opening event so I came to show some support! Didn't go with anyone but I knew people that were going so thought that would be okay

Dress code was "Sexy and Glamorous" I didn't have ANYTHING at home to wear so asked my aunt if she had something I could borrow... lol so ended up wearing this! :) Longer than my usual preferred length but it had to do... haha

Event was at Tamarai, which isn't bad! Quite nice inside! Club got filled up too which was a good turn out for an opening :) Also saw a few old faces that I hadn't seen in aggeeesssss!!! Ages meaning months and years... xD

Manchester, Round 2!

This was the day AFTER Notts event... LOL cos we're hardcore like that... haha

Went with Vanessa and Victa this time and I had a hotel booked for us there! As soon as we got to the hotel I started getting ready!! Once again I borrowed Vanessa's clothes haha and her being the indecisive girl she is brought like half her wardrobe with her to Manc cos she couldn't decide on what to wear... LOL

Didn't get to hotel til 10 something!! Eeeek!! Then later, Lilian calls to ask where I was cos she has my tickets so we had to rush more and then called for a cab!!

Got to club around 11.30 and then went straight in!! The main floor was downstairs and omg it was so crowded and hot in there!! ewww!! And like 90% of the people there were dressed in school uniform...!! (theme was "Back 2 School") Vanessa was saying that she didn't expect so many people to actually follow the theme cos in London, barely anyone does... LOL but hey at least we didn't blend in :P haha!

And OMG! I found the Manchester lot and they were all matching!! IT WAS SO CUTE!!! I could have died from the cuteness of it all!! LOL It's something us girls do... But for the boys to do it as well was just extra adorable!! I loved it!! (Y)

Not much happened really apart from usual dancing around... Like you do in clubs.. LOL so here's some more photos for your viewing :P

After talking for a bit the security people told us to go in as they were closing off the outside area as club was gonna finish soon!! So we went in and danced til the last song, Whip my hair came on and I just had too.... LOOOL Will be featured on my vlog ;)

Took me 9 months before I could get another pic with the bros cos TOAI usually refuses to stay for a photo... TUT! xD

End of the night, Victa was the wasted one this time LOL we got a cab back and he just fell asleep on MINE & VANESSA'S bed!! (Basically, in this room there's a bunk bed, single bed on top and double on the bottom) He said he would move so we left it for a bit! At this point, Tam was telling us to come out as he only lived 5mins from our hotel! We told him to come to us instead and so he did and we were just jamming and talking, there was a 24hour subway next door too so I got myself a steak and cheese sub :D

Nottingham, Are You Ready?!

Gonna be on a FRESHERS frenzy this month! So watch out ;)

My first time in Notts on Tues! I came up with Alex to go to their big Oriental Freshers! And you know me, a sucker for Oriental parties... haha only events you'll actually find me at!

Our train was delayed by half an hour cos some stupid driver drove into the bridge ahead or something... I didn't really pay attention to the announcement.. LOL

Once we arrived at Notts, me and Alex just wondered around this DEAD shopping centre... Apparently we went to the wrong side and there are a few BETTER shopping centres in the area... Oh wells!!

Met Victa and Callum and headed to Callum's place and ended up getting PIZZA and a whole loada other shit.... LOL Will explain more in the vlog later.

Then around half 7 me, Alex and Victa headed to Vanessa's halls to jam and get ready! I didn't have ANYTHING to wear from home so ended up raiding Vanessa's wardrobe (with her permission of course..) to look for something to wear! After trying on several dresses we decided on the first one that I tried LOL

Left her place just before 11pm to go pre drink, but we didn't even go cos Alex's card ended up being eaten by the ATM... oh dear.... lol and we ended up in McD's eating 20 nuggets between us... haha

Our friend that had our tickets was at the club and told us to come to we did and went straight in! Club was alright had like 3 diff floors! Well I don't think they would actually be considered as "floors" exactly, it was like the main floor on the ground... Then the mid section looking over ground floor... Then top floor looking over both bottom floors.... BUT ANYWAY!! Got to top floor... AND GUESS WHO I SEE!! The Manchester lot!! I SCREAMED when I saw Toai and ran to hug him haha and then greeted everyone else :)

Well look who we have heree!!

Whole night I just went up and down constantly... VIP room was the top floor and that's where most of my friends hung out half the time but I didn't like the music in there! So crap.... But whilst being there I got forced to take shots!! Ahhhhh!!! Victa bought them all and there happened to be one extra so gave it to me which was why I had 2.... Omg... my face went all red and gradually through the night I started getting rashes on my face and leg!! Wtf!!! So yeh I think I'm actually allergic...

Both drunk... haha

As the night went, Vanessa here... GOT SO WASTED! LOOL!! One min she was all fine and helping me to wake up and telling me to come dance with her... and like the next thing I know... I turn around and she's like falling to the floor... LOL Lucky Victa was next to her so he held her up so it weren't actually a fall, she just lost balance! I think this was due to her ankle sprain.... She's sprained her ankle quite a few times now but still insists on going out in heels!! Crazy girl!! It's swollen up pretty bad.... =/

Came to the end of the night and Vanessa was still gone... So had to get help to guide her down the stairs!! Cos I surely can't when I'm tipsy myself!! Got outside and then got a cab back to hers! She ended up throwing up outside and also inside in her bathroom... Even missed and went onto her foot... eeeek!!! Victa watched over her and even cleaned her foot for her bless him!! After getting all that out of her system she K.O'ed on her bed and me and Victa ordered food for ourselves... haha

Next morning, she didn't actually remember anything towards the end of the night... And once again I filled in her memory for her LOL I swear I'm always the one filling in drunk people's memories... hahaha oh dearrr
