JLG Awarded Contract to Build ATLAS II Forklifts for the U.S. Army

McConnellsburg, Pa. — February 21, 2012 — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK], announced today that it has received a delivery order from the U.S. Army to build a total of 116 All Terrain Lifter Army System (ATLAS II) telescopic forklifts. Valued at approximately $20.6 million, these vehicles will be delivered to U.S. Army facilities around the globe.

ATLAS II rough terrain forklifts deliver several performance enhancements over the original ATLAS design, including reduced emissions and the addition of several multifunctional attachments. Manufactured in McConnellsburg, Pa., the ATLAS II machines will supplement the 2,500 original ATLAS units that are currently being utilized by the U.S. Army in operations around the globe.

JLG Introduces 1932RS and 3248RS Electric Scissor Lifts at The Rental Show

Hagerstown, Md. (February 6, 2012) — JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company [NYSE:OSK] and a leading manufacturer of aerial work platforms and telescopic material handlers, today introduced the RS Series of electric scissor lifts — the 1932RS and the 3248RS. Both lifts are on display through Feb. 8 in booth #9435 at The Rental Show in New Orleans, La.

With platform heights of 19 feet and 32 feet and capacities of 500 pounds and 705 pounds respectively, the 1932RS and 3248RS utilize direct electric drive motors that deliver industry-leading duty cycles. Passive pothole protection eliminates all moving parts in the pothole protection system, significantly reducing repair and maintenance cost. The use of only 4 hydraulic hoses greatly reduces the chance of leaks and an easily accessible battery storage area further ensures ease of maintenance. Both models have the ability to traverse grades of up to 25 percent.

JLG Announces Marketing Changes

Brian Boeckman has been promoted to the role of global product director for telehandlers. In this role, Boeckman will be responsible for the management of the companies JLG, SkyTrak, Lull, and Deutz Fahr branded telehandlers globally. Since joining the company in 1995, Boeckman has held roles of increasing responsibility in product management, program management, and engineering.

Jeff Ford, formerly senior manager, marketing communications, has been named global director, product management for aerial work platforms in the company’s product development group. In this role, Ford will be responsible for product management for the access equipment segment, working with product development and product management teams. Since joining the company in 1995, Ford has held various marketing product support and management roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Penn State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Frostburg State University.

Maye Houck has been promoted to senior marketing manager - shared services. In this role, Houck will be responsible for managing the corporate marketing communications programs for the products and services of the JLG product portfolio for the Americas, as well as Cat® telehandlers worldwide. Houck began her career with JLG in 1993, and in 2006, joined the Caterpillar Alliance Group (CAG) as global marketing manager.
