Joseph Productions, Inc. Supported The Announcement of The 2013 NHL Winter Classic

Joseph Productions, Inc. is proud to be involved with the annual NHL Winter Classic on January 1, 2013. The outdoor hockey game will be an Original Six matchup between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is projected to have the largest attendance for a hockey game with over 120,000 participants. JPI coordinated and supported the audio and visuals for the press conference announcing the 2013 NHL Winter Classic. We enabled satellite trucks to send two independent HD camera feeds with audio to Toronto for NHL networks to deliver. In addition to the NHL Winter Classic, there will be two-weeks of events taking place in Detroit at Comerica Park, beginning in mid-December, as part of the �The Hockeytown Winter Festival.� Events include the 48th Annual Great Lakes Invitational (GLI), an American Hockey League (AHL) matchup, and an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) double-header. JPI will be providing world-wide transmissions at Comerica Park during the event. We will be prepared for all the challenges of an outdoor event, including weather and sunlight positions, from the diverse events that we have produced.

2012 North American International Auto Show Ford Motor Company Product Reveals

Joseph Productions, Inc. supported the production of Ford Motor Company�s new vehicle reveals at Joe Louis Arena for the 2012 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. The interior of the arena was completely transformed from a sports arena to a 10,000 square-foot product reveal set in one week. Crews constructed risers to accommodate over two-thousand seats �in-the-round.� The set consisted of four vehicle turntables and 360-degree panorama screens surrounding the audience and vehicle reveals. A carpeted, heated tunnel allowed media representatives to pass comfortably between Cobo Center and the Ford media reveals in Joe Louis Arena.

JazzPlanet.tv delivers first broadcast of Downbeat Blindfold Test [PDF]

In a historic broadcast on Sept. 4, 2011, JazzPlanet.tv presented the first-ever live webcast of a Downbeat Blindfold Test. Master percus- sionist Jeff �Tain� Watts weighed in on drummer-fueled music in front of an audience at the 32nd annual Detroit Jazz Festival. (Following the live stream, the Blindfold Test and other festival shows were archived at JazzPlanet.tv.) Watts served as the festival�s artist in residence over the long Labor Day weekend. This was his fourth Blindfold Test.
