The present setup of system is demanding more from every individual, if u r unable to deliver the desired; you will be considered a failure in system.

In the past people are selected/hired even if they posses only one skill, the present scenario is different. 80% of the people are hired with "go get any thing done - attitude".

for example: if a company is looking for a good programmer, in the past they use to look only for a good programmer, but the present scenario is different, the term cost reduction is in the mind of every recruiter, they are in need of multitasking people.

so, one should horn multitasking skills, then the very next question one should ask to thy self is what are multitasking skills how to get them.

Be smart in choosing your gadgets, make sure that you don't carry number of gadgets, such as a pen drive, scheduler/data organizer, laptop, cellphone, music player and voice recorder, try to own a single gadget that can do it all. The important thing is how well you use it for increasing your efficiency.

travel planning
most of the folks who often travel, do not plan their journey, like reserving a ticket, hotel/lodge or even a taxi when they reach their destination. The worst part is they will not even inform their travel plan to the host/client. Be smart plan you travel well a head of your journey, if you get notice in a short duration for your travel then use the services of travel agents who have blocked tickets. Be chic or else you will be standing on a platform or footpath.

event management
indulge your self in conducting/organizing and event, if not possible try to be a part of the organizing committee. This will teach you a lot of lessons in life, the event can be any thing from a family function (wedding, birth/death anniversary, ......) college functions, charity events etc

coordinating
lot of general public lack this talent because of communication gap, one should let out the feelings while doing a specific job either with your teammates, superior or subordinates. what i mean is admiring and showing your dissatisfaction should be in a persuasive manner.
