<p>Benny A. Cyboron, 88, of Boelus died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Nebraska Heart Institute in Lincoln.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Boelus. The Reverend Melanie Adams will officiate. Interment will be held in Loup Fork Cemetery near Boelus with military honors by Schipman-Mogensen American Legion Post #201 of Boelus.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to the Boelus Civic Center.</p>
<p>Benny was born September 6, 1924 on the farm near Boelus, Nebraska to John &amp; Leona (Czapla) Cyboron.</p>
<p>He was raised on the farm and attended District #28 until 8th grade. He then attended high school in Boelus and graduated from Boelus High School in 1943.</p>
<p>After high school, he worked on the farm until he entered the United States Army in March 1944. He served in the Army during World War II starting in France and went to Germany. He was honorably discharged in July 1946.</p>
<p>Benny was united in marriage to Ruth Carson on June 15, 1946 in Littleton, Colorado.</p>
<p>In 1951, he began working at Gates Rubber Company in Denver, Colorado.</p>
<p>He helped to organize and was a member of the Castlewood Centennial Fire Department, where he worked as Fire Marshall until he retired in 1979.</p>
<p>After retirement, he moved back to Boelus and bought a farm near Rockville.</p>
<p>Benny was a member of the Mission Hills Baptist Church in Littleton, Colorado, a life member of the Grange (Grandview) in Littleton, the Schipman-Mogensen American Legion Post #201 of Boelus and the Colorado State Grange.</p>
<p>Benny was most proud of his carpenter work when he remodeled a house in Littleton, Colorado by himself. He also enjoyed playing pinochial with his wife.</p>
<p>Benny is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Bigelow of Fort Collins, CO; a son, Dennis Cyboron of Fort Collins, CO; two grandchildren, Dennis Bigelow of Fort Collins, CO and Caroline Bigelow of Worcester, MA; brothers &amp; sisters-in-law, Valentine &amp; Fern Cyboron of Grand Island, and Edward &amp; Rose Marie Cyboron of Grand Island; and one sister, Laura Hansen of St. Paul, NE; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Cyboron and Florence Cyboron of Englewood, CO, Henrietta Cyboron of St. Paul and a brother-in-law, Donald Plambeck of Grand Island.</p>
<p>He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Ruth; a son-in-law, David Bigelow, brothers Stanley, Adolph, Raymond, John and Leonard Cyboron; sisters, Maryann, Barbara, and Elnora Cyboron, a brother-in-law, Edward Hansen, and sisters-in-law, Rose Cyboron and Laura Cyboron.</p>

<p>Dennis E. Lukasiewicz, 65, of St. Paul died Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island from Frontal Temporal Dementia brain disorder. In their willingness to help others, Dennis’s brain was donated to the Harvard Medical Research Center for the research of the disease which Dennis suffered.</p>
<p>A celebration of life service for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at their home residence, 1313 Hardy Road, St. Paul, NE. The Reverend Carolyn Hellerich will officiate. Military honors will be presented by the Carl Mogensen American Legion Post #119 of St. Paul.</p>
<p>A family inurnment will be held in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul</p>
<p>A time for greeting the family and signing the book will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a scholarship fund in Dennis’s name for a St. Paul High School student pursuing a career in Agriculture, the Carl Mogensen American Legion Post #119 of St. Paul or the St. Paul Fire Department.</p>
<p>Dennis was born November 14, 1947 in St. Paul to Ivan &amp; LaFerne (Jensen) Lukasiewicz.</p>
<p>He attended school in St. Paul and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1966.</p>
<p>He entered the United States Navy on October 21, 1966. Dennis worked as a boiler technician on the USS Constellation, serving three tours of duty off of the coast of Vietnam. He was honorably discharged December 15, 1970.</p>
<p>Dennis was united in marriage to Susan Francl on March 8, 1969 in Palmer, Nebraska.</p>
<p>The couple moved to St. Paul in December 1970 and Dennis began farming with his dad and brother.</p>
<p>Farming was Dennis’ passion which he was involved in for all his life and he also raised cattle until 1988.</p>
<p>He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church of St. Paul, Carl Mogensen American Legion Post #119 of St. Paul and the United Veterans Club in Grand Island.</p>
<p>Dennis enjoyed volunteering at Bloodmobile drives. He had a kind heart when helping people in their time of need. He loved every minute he could spend with his grandchildren. He was always making welding art in which he was very good at. He would always do what he could to honor veterans in the American Legion Color Guard.</p>
<p>Dennis is survived by his wife, Susan of St. Paul; a son &amp; daughter-in-law, Troy &amp; Delcie Lukasiewicz of St. Paul; a daughter &amp; son-in-law, Holly &amp; Scott Persson of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Kinzie, Sydney and Ashlyn Lukasiewicz, Keaton &amp; Brynley Persson; and two brothers, Don and Brian Lukasiewicz of St. Paul.</p>
<p>He is preceded in death by his parents.</p>

<p>Dale E. Steinke, 64, of Central City died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Litzenberg Memorial Hospital in Central City.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. Chaplain Mark Hartley will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach. Military honors at graveside will be presented by Ray Mapes American Legion Post #236 of Wolbach.</p>
<p>Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.</p>
<p>Mr. Steinke was born January 5, 1949 in Wolbach to Walter and Bernice (Peterson) Steinke.</p>
<p>Dale attended Summit country school in Greeley County before attending Wolbach High School where he graduated in 1967.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.jacobsengreenway.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/American-Flag2.bmp"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-7515" alt="Dale E. Steinke St. Paul & Palmer Nebraska" /></a>He entered the United States Navy on November 7, 1967. He received training at the Great Lakes Naval Base near Chicago.</p>
<p>While still in the Navy, Dale was united in marriage to Sandra Steele on June 1, 1968 in Wolbach. The couple lived in Millington, TN and Jacksonville, FL. When Dale was deployed to Vietnam, Sandra returned to Wolbach where she lived with her parents until Dales return. He received his discharge on March 14, 1972.</p>
<p>The couple first lived in Wolbach, moved to Kansas for a short time before returning to Nebraska where they made their family home in the Central City area.</p>
<p>Dale managed Cargill elevators, worked for Darling Well Service and Engine Repair and then Carlson Systems, retiring in 1997.</p>
<p>Dale loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing with his brother, and he especially enjoyed a fishing trip off of the coast of Florida, hunting, horses, coyote hunting and gardening.</p>
<p>Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle &amp; Greg Kramer of Crete, Brenda and John Barker of Ames, IA and Hiliary &amp; Jeramie Wegner of Wolbach; eight grandchildren, Brittny Beyard, Morgan &amp; Josh Korbel, Laken &amp; Gabe Beyard, Abbigail, Natalie and Alden Wegner and Alessandra Hall; two great grandchildren, Elijah McIntyre and Jeremiah Avelar; one brother, Rod and Deb Steinke of Central City and a sister, Joyce and Dick Peetz of Wolbach.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandra on February 13, 2005.</p>

<p style="text-indent: 48px;">
<p>Raymond Christensen, 99, of Grand Island died Friday, May 10, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center.</p>
<p>Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Seventh and Locust Streets. The Reverend Bill Pavuk will officiate. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at North Logan Cemetery, 10 miles north of St. Paul on Highway 281 with Reverend Carolyn Hellerich officiating.</p>
<p>Visitation will be Monday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Children’s Home Society, North Logan Cemetery Association or Messiah Lutheran Church.</p>
<p>Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home of St. Paul is in charge of serving the family.</p>
<p>Raymond was born March 12, 1914, seven miles west of Wolbach, the son of Andrew and Christiana Christensen.</p>
<p>Ray was raised and received his education in Hall, Greeley and Howard counties, graduating from St. Paul High School in 1932.</p>
<p>He married Rhoda Sonderup on February 16, 1941 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Howard County. Ray and Rhoda loved to go to dances with their friends, went on cruises and also traveled to many countries.</p>
<p>Ray farmed for many years, worked for the Sugar Beet Factory, Cornhusker Army Ammunition Plant and Tilley’s Sprinklers.</p>
<p>Ray and Rhoda moved to Grand Island in 1970. He did independent sprinkler installation and service. He also clerked many sales and auctions until failing eyesight forced him to retire. They moved to Primrose Retirement Community on October 1, 2012, and enjoyed their apartment and all the residents and staff they met there.</p>
<p>Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Rhoda of Grand Island; six children and their spouses Marlys and Mel Sems of Grand Island, Judy and Rick Hiser of Menifee, Calif., Janet Blair of Napa, Calif., Cindy and Pete Luth of Lincoln, Sherri and Brent Karley of Austin, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Rosanne Christensen of Wolbach; 23 grandchildren and their spouses, Mark Sems, Brian and Kim Sems, Debbie Doll, Michelle and Mike Kneale, Marty and Amy Sems, Stacia and Steve Pagani, Jennifer and Joshua Dugan, Malania and Dan Iman, Shad and Jessalyn Hiser, Christy and Trent Fischer, Melissa and Derek Lehnecke, Jessica and Alex Paredes, Jackie and Sean Gellatly, Amanda Christensen, Joshua Christensen, Andrea Christensen, Katie Christensen, Allison and Brad Van Boening, Chris Luth, Amber Karley, Rachel Karley, Evan Karley, Braden Karley; 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clarence, Harry and Chris, sisters, Myrtle and Edna; a daughter and son-in-law, Lana and Burel Doll; a son-in-law, Robert Blair and a great grandson, Jacob Kneale.</p>

<p>Nancy A. Hamilton, 73, of Elba died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.</p>
<p>A time to greet the family and sign the guestbook will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday with a prayer service at 2:30 p.m. at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Reverend Martha Voigt will officiate.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to the Elba United Methodist Church or the family’s choice.</p>
<p>Mrs. Hamilton was born October 22, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN to Lyell and Gwendoline (Wickersheim) Newton.</p>
<p>Nancy was raised and received her education in the Minneapolis area.</p>
<p>She was united in marriage to George Hamilton on November 19, 1957 in Albert Lea, MN.</p>
<p>Shortly after their marriage in 1959, the couple moved to Elba. Nancy was active in their bee and honey business, doing the bookkeeping and helping her husband and her son Gary in the business.</p>
<p>Nancy liked to gamble and travel. She enjoyed their trips to Colorado and especially loved to be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also liked to bowl.</p>
<p>Nancy was a member of the Elba United Methodist Church.</p>
<p>Survivors include her husband, George of Elba; two sons, Gary Hamilton of Elba and Mark Hamilton and his wife, Trina of Kearney; three daughters, Sherryl Coufal and her husband Garland of Cotesfield, Susan Markvicka of Reno, NV and Cindy Lopez of Boelus; seventeen grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a sister, Sally Compton and her husband, Frank of Council Bluffs, IA.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Rick Hamilton; and a brother, Butch Newton.</p>

<p>Jack R. King, 70, of Grand Island died Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Golden Living Center -- Park Place in Grand Island.</p>
<p>Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Grand Island. The Reverend Eldon Elsberry will officiate. People attending the service are requested to wear casual attire.</p>
<p>There will not be any visitation, Mr. King was cremated.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to the Central Nebraska Humane Society in Grand Island or the Heartland Pet Connection in Hastings.</p>
<p>Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.</p>
<p>Mr. King was born November 2, 1942 in Broken Bow to Reynolds and Velma (Cason) King.</p>
<p>He spent his early years in Hastings where he attended school. He attended Junior High School in Grand Island before moving to Golden, CO where he attended and graduated from high school in 1961. Jack then attended business school.</p>
<p>Jack moved to Grand Island where he worked for Marsay Printing and then for Aguilar Printing, retiring in the late 1990’s.</p>
<p>Jack was an avid reading, reading anything and everything. He liked people to bring him papers from other cities. He loved to travel especially in the west and southwest, enjoying the countryside and nature. One of his highlights in traveling was going to see the home of Elvis, Graceland. He loved drag racing, hot rods, target shooting and gun shows.</p>
<p>He enjoyed visiting with people of all ages.</p>
<p>He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion #201 of Boelus, the Elks Lodge and a lifetime member of the NRA,</p>
<p>Survivors include several cousins; close friends, Al and Sandy Simmons of Boelus and their family and his furry four legged companion, Augie.</p>
<p>Jack was preceded in death by his parents.</p>

<p>Jill E. Davis, 60, of Palmer died Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Howard County Medical Center in St. Paul.</p>
<p>Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer. The Reverend Martin Leeper will officiate.</p>
<p>There will not be any visitation, Mrs. Davis was cremated.</p>

<p>Jill was born February 7, 1953 in Royal, Iowa to Wayne and Phylis (Hofart) O’Clair.</p>
<p>She was raised on a farm in Royal and she received her nursing degree from Morning Side College in Sioux City, IA.</p>
<p>Jill was united in marriage to Rick Davis on December 2, 1978 in Royal, IA.</p>
<p>She was currently working as a nurse at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.</p>
<p>She is, was and always will be a loving caring mother and will be missed dearly.</p>
<p>Jill was a member of the Palmer United Methodist Church.</p>
<p>Survivors include her husband, Rick of Palmer; two sons, Mickey and Danny Davis of Palmer; a daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Kooper Ott of Kearney and a brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Kris O’Clair of Colorado.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joe and Rob O’Clair.</p>

<p>Bonnie Wells, 72, of Cotesfield died Monday, April 15, 2013 at Bryan-LGH East in Lincoln.</p>
<p>Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday at the United Methodist Church in St. Paul. The Reverend Martha Voigt will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the church.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to the Elba United Methodist Church or the Elba Fire Department and EMT’s.</p>
<p>Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home of St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.</p>
<p>Bonnie was born March 9, 1941 in Ord to William and Froney (Adamek) Klanecky.</p>
<p>She lived with her family on the Greg Ranch in the Fairdale area in Valley County where she started school. When she was 7 they moved to the Sand Flats and she attended the Plain Valley Rural School through the 8th grade. Her father died in 1949. Bonnie attended Ord Public School where she graduated in 1959.</p>
<p>She then attended Kearney State College and taught 3 years in rural schools in Valley and Garfield counties. In 1963 – 1966 she taught 1st grade in the Burwell Public School. She attended summer school and off-campus classes during this time.</p>
<p>She was united in marriage to Ron Wells on July 1, 1966 and became the mother of Rhonda Wells. They lived on a farm near Cotesfield and two sons joined the family, David in 1968 and Jeff in 1972. Bonnie’s mother died in 1983.</p>
<p>Bonnie enjoyed learning and reading, flowers and yard work and doing crossword puzzles.</p>
<p>Survivors include her husband, Ron of Cotesfield; children, Rhonda Wells of Oklahoma City, David Wells and his wife Joanne of Boise, ID, Jeff and his wife Natalie of Redmond, WA and Chaniece Kornegay of Oklahoma City; 5 grandchildren, Ian, Alex and Zachary Wells of Boise, ID and Anna Rose and Sophia Rachel of Redmond, WA; a sister, Barbara and her husband Wayne Rakosky of Grand Island; a brother-in-law, Leon Foulk of Ericson, NE and a sister-in-law, Mary Klanecky of Ord.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Wilma Foulk, Lillian Benson and Norma Krikac; and three brothers, William, Leonard and Leon Klanecky.</p>

<p>John Robert “Bob” Kelly, 74, of St. Paul died Friday, April 12, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.</p>
<p>Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Reverend Ray Kosmicki will officiate. There will not be any visitation.</p>
<p>As he requested, he will be laid to rest with a family graveside service in the Kearney Cemetery with his daughter, Rita.</p>
<p>Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.</p>
<p>Bob was born August 18, 1938 in Greeley to John and Gertrude (Casey) Kelly. He graduated in 1956 from Sacred Heart Academy.</p>
<p>Bob held many positions in his various careers. He was a bank examiner for the State of Nebraska for 20 years.</p>
<p>He was a pilot and owned a custom hay business. He was owner-operator of Kelly’s Luxury Liner of Kearney. Bob lived in Las Vegas and worked for the State of Nevada. He retired as a DOT officer for the State of Utah.</p>
<p>Since retirement in 2001, Bob has enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing and especially time with his family.</p>
<p>Bob is survived by his former wife, Marjorie (Hrebec) Buresh of North Bend and their children, Bob and his wife Cindy of Kearney and Sherry Clinebell and her husband Ted of Sumer. He is also survived by his wife, Emily (Ashdown) Kelly of St. Paul and three stepsons, Mike and Angela Adams of Rochester, WA, Cade and Naomi Adams of McGill, NV and C.B. (Yvette) Tillery of Ely, NV; a brother, Charles Kelly and his wife Lori of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mary Ellen and Art Peck of Salt Lake City, UT and Eileen and Chuck Viator of Iowa Park, TX; fifteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.</p>
<p>Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leo and Gerald and his daughter, Rita.</p>

Vargason, 77, of St. Paul died Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the Howard County Medical Center in St. Paul after a courageous battle with cancer.</p>
<p>Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday at the United Methodist Church in St. Paul. The Reverend Martha Voigt will officiate. Masonic rites will be conducted by the St. Paul Masonic Lodge #82 AF &amp; AM.</p>
<p>Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul with military honors by the Carl Mogensen American Legion Post #119 of St. Paul.</p>
<p>Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.</p>
<p>Mr. Vargason was born April 21, 1935 in Newport, NE to Walter H. and Agatha (Peacock) Vargason.</p>
<p>He was raised in the Episcopal Faith.</p>
<p>He was raised in Ainsworth and graduated from Ainsworth High School.</p>
<p>He entered the U.S. Army where he served from 1956 until 1959 in the Security Agency.</p>
<p>Walt was united in marriage to Linda Murphy on April 2, 1971 in Grand Island. The couple moved to Grand Island in 1974 and Walt began working for the City of Grand Island in the Engineering Department. He became the Street Superintendent for the City of Grand Island, retiring in 1997.</p>
<p>Upon retirement the couple moved to St. Paul. For the past several years, Walt was a funeral assistant at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.</p>
<p>Walt enjoyed music, fishing and reading. Walt and Linda enjoyed going on cruises in the Carribean. He volunteered playing music for Heritage Living Center, Howard County Medical Center and Matelyn Retirement Community, all in St. Paul and for many years played in a dance band.</p>
<p>He was a currently a member of the St. Paul Masonic Lodge serving as Worshipful Master in St. Paul and Grand Island when he was a member of that lodge. He was a past member of the Scottish Rite 32nd degree of the Shriners. He also served on the University of Nebraska Technological Transfer Center Advisory Board.</p>
<p>Survivors include his wife, Linda of St. Paul; a brother, Charles and a sister, Agatha Marie.</p>
<p>He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Elmer and Alvin and two sisters, Vivian and Dorothy.</p>
