Jaden's Update

It's been a while that I haven't had a time to update in here. it's been a busy transitions in what we are doing right now. But, for Jaden he's doing a wonderful job in his school. I understand that he is really struggling a lot with his education in a foreign country yet he tries to cope up with it.

He's already in Grade two in a private school in our area. We are also able to enroll him in a Christian school in the Philippines. They just sent the materials for Jaden to study. This is another adjusts that Jaden needs to undergo but praying he can be able to grasp it.

We are little by little see Jaden's improvements when it comes to his study. We want to see him excels in his academic endeavor.

Fun-Filled Retreat

Retreat was over and I would say that we have had a fun-filled event for us Filipinos. It is indeed a refreshing time meeting each other and sharing what's happening in our daily life. We had much time spent listening to God's Word which is the major thing that renewed our thirsty souls. And of course, we also devote some of our time worshiping God through singing. A wonderful music of praises to God were sang melodiously. Our guitarist was very good in handling her guitar but sorry it is not the hollow body guitar available at Musicians Friend. Hoping that we can have that one but since we are only a small group that gathers regularly, we can't afford to acquire it. I think we are contented with what we have right now as long as we are able to sing praises to our God harmoniously with a simple instruments available.
Some of our friends also enjoyed the swimming before leaving the vicinity.

A New Guitar

Recently, my brother-in-law bought a guitar in Big Extra. They got a sale price so he grab the opportunity to buy one. He really loves instruments which I envy of. Every time we visit them, my wife take her time to hold the guitar and started singing. It is always our joy to sing together even we always argue with the timing. It was fun to have a musical instrument. I hope I can buy one soon for my wife. I really don't know how to play guitar. I would say that I love music but it seems music doesn't like me.
Anyway, I am grateful that they have one instrument in their house because that his passion. Playing musical instruments is his life. For now, he is not looking for Guitar Center, audio equipment since they only have a small house.I think they will need it if they can have a bigger house not here but in the Philippines.

Seeking His Interest

During this second term of our Jaden's school, it seems he is not so excited with his taekwondo class every Thursday. Actually, at the beginning of the second term he told me to ask his teacher if he can change the club he was in to another club. But his teacher told me that he can't change it now, just wait for another year. That program is for one year.

I just thought that he is now seeking for his own interest. The same as like guitar center closest to me all the time. I know that he is struggle to discover his interest right now but I believe he will know it someday. He has to discover it by himself. He is still yet to determine it but I think we can also guide him piece by piece. I just hope he will be more involve in music fields. I really want him to be engage in musical instruments

A Little Break

I would say that this is a little break for me right now. I am up north of Thailand for two weeks. Actually, this is not totally a break, like having a holiday but good enough to be away from stresses in our daily routine with the kids. I am here in Chiang Mai for a two-week seminar class module on my further studies.

I am a bit released from my daily routine which is really good for me. Which, unfortunately not good for my wife to be alone with 9 kids in the house. She has someone to help tho. Yet, I really felt her struggles everyday as I talk to her. This is not an easy endeavor to her right now, but still believing God will continue to sustain us with His abundant grace.

I am very glad that God has given me the opportunity to be away from home for awhile but on the other hand felt sorry to let my wife stay at home with these 9 kids. I might give her a break as well when I get back to the south.

Our Little Athlete

This is Phithak, 7 years old and in kindergarten 3. He was a dedicated little boy. During their sports day, he went home running and showing to us his medal. He won in running competition. It was like he won b30. But actually, I am just dreaming that one of these kids will have a passion in music.
I have seen their dedication and determination in their studies, but not noticed a potential for them in music. I hope it will be develop to one or two of these kids that will make their way the passion in music like playing instruments.

Kids Award

We are so much favored to have these wonderful kids in our house. They surprise us with their individual achievements. I received an unknown call and when I talked to the caller, since my Thai language is not so fluent, I have to asks the lady on the other side of the phone many times until I realized that one of our kids got a 1st place in the coloring contest in the school by one of the insurance company in Thailand. They told us to come to their office the following they to get the certificate. We are so proud to have them

Walking With God

We are so blessed to see our kids walking in the path of God. In their teenage life they choose to be in the Lord side. We are proud of the two girls because God is now using them in the church. Just recently, they were involved in the church activity by helping teaching the kids about Jesus. They have a voice to sing praises to God as well and sometimes they also help in the worship team. They might have no moogerfooger in the church but good to hear their voices worshiping the Lord. It is our greatest desire that this children will love God more in their lives. Praying that they will be a blessing to others as well someday. To give light to others.

God Is In Control

This is maybe a tough situation we are experiencing now but I believe God is in control. It breaks our heart knowing that we can't do anything with our situation. The only thing we need to do is accept and humble ourselves to the living God. He has His own perfect plan for us.

The kids in our house are doing very well and even their schooling, they excel in the class. We are so proud of them. That's the only joy that we have and gives us the strength and courage to go on to what we had started. We are on our knees that we can survive in God's perfect time for us.

Church Involvement

We are motivating our two older girls to be involve in the church activities. We want them to be a blessing to others and start to serve God in their lives. Last to days ago, they ask us if they can attend a worship concert here in Hatyai. It is a best opportunity for them to experience this kind of activities while serving the Living God. They will experience to worship God through their voices. I believe that in the concert, there's a different kind of instrument used in their worship. I believe it is a musicians friend number that night. Different kinds of artists in that event and a lot of musicians were present.

I just pray that these two girls will be an instruments also to bless others and a channel of salvation to those who are seeking the true and living God.

Family Day Out

It's been several months that we haven't gone for a family day out. We've been so busy and stressed with a lot of things to consider in which we forgot the most important thing in the family. But last Monday, during school holiday, we went out to the park even for a few hours. The children love to be out. Love to play and express their emotions freely. I have tried to play with them as well and realized that they love it playing with them.

I think, this time we will make sure that we can have a family time in the midst of our busy schedules. Bonding time has a great impact in the lives of these kids. Hope we can really be a father and mother to these lovely children of God.

Another Round Of Online

A couple of days ago, we discover another online shopping store but this time, you have to bid. On our first time engaging ourselves on this online shop, we found a guitar. I started my bid until I got it at last. Because, my wife really wants to have a guitar so I make sure that this item could be mine and I made it. We don't have the vox ac15 but I am sure that my wife will love this new guitar for her. She will enjoy herself singing worship songs in her spare times.

Just for only one day, I shopped five items on this online shop. This is very tempting for us but I enjoy myself playing here. Hope their items will be durable.

Pinoy Remnant

Last Friday night, we started our first pinoy gathering here in the South of Thailand. I think, we had a good start with twelve people came. I could say that, we had a wonderful time together in our first fellowship. It is quite informal but I believe all enjoyed the night. We had did worship songs, testimony time, studied God's word and prayed for our prayer concerns.

We decided to have this gathering once a month and take turns in each house. We just pray that this gathering will be a great help for us. Our aim through this gathering that we can exhort and encourage one another. We have differences but I believe in the name of Jesus we are united.

First Aid Training

We are required to take a first aid training since we are running a children's home. We need to have knowledge on how to handle emergency cases in the house with the children. But I believe God's protection is with us always. But for legality purposes, especially the government want it to be legal we need to comply with that.

Just wondering what are we going to do within five days of training. Just hoping it's a training related to music then I might be excited with that. Like having a deal of the day musicians friend activities.
I think that would be fun. But then, the reality is that I am not going to a music training but first aid training. Hope I will enjoy it as well.

Deadline

Usually, our mentality is to do things in a last minute situation. I am not sure if you are one of the many people who are doing it. I admit it myself that I do the last minute thing. Now, I am a bit stress because, my papers works in already on deadline 2 more days. I am still three fourth of my paper works plus with my busy daily routine, I am a bit overwhelm now. Hope I can finish it tomorrow.

This is another lesson learned that I need to do stuff ahead of time. This is not a fun job at all. Especially, we don't know that on the few days of the required assignments you got jobs that are unexpected. But I believe God will help me to accomplish my paper works on time.

Taekwondo Lessons

Our Jaden wants all day to be Thursday because that's the day of their taekwondo lessons in school. He really likes to do Teakwondo. Now it seem, we are step by step sees his best interest. Though right now, his interest is not in music area, I believe one day he will love it too. His mom loves to play guitar and can sing well. Then apollo twin will not be in a hurry for our little boy.

We will just wait until he will be ready on the field of music. I really desires for our son to play even one musical instruments. For now, i will just let him enjoy his taekwondo lessons in school. Hopefully next year we can introduce to him the music. He is quite a lazy boy, so we will not force him now.

Books Paid

Last may 16 I sent our kids to school without any books for them to use. We don't have enough funds for their books that month. The kids were quite hesitant to go to school since they have no books and what are they going to do their.

But God is faithful. We believe in His perfect plan. I told the kids to trust God and pray to God that he will provide our needs. God's favor was still upon the kids. I talked to the principal of the school that afternoon about our situation. She understand us and told me that she will pay the kids' books first then I can pay her later. I told her, i will pay within that month, but the truth is, we already know that no funds coming within that month. yet we trust God.

We just praise God because before the month of May ends, God blessed us. A person we never meet and known donated money for our needs. Indeed God works. We really acknowledge God hand upon this situation. It is because He is our living God and know very well of what we need most. We paid books fees on time and in God's perfect time. Lord You are our AWESOME GOD. We Thank you Lord.

Music In School

I am quite excited to know that Jaden has a subject of music and music instruments in their school. I hope that they can teach the students different kind of music instruments. I like this instruments I see in wwbw.coms. This is the instruments I am dreaming for me to play too. But I have to accept that the music is not really for me. But I hope my deepest desire for music and musical instrument be passed on to my son. I really love to see him engaging himself in music. Hope he will.!

New Computer

Last school year, our children in the house struggled were to do their computer assignments. We all know that computer is very important nowadays. They always have assignments need to be done in the computer. And in our neighborhood you can't find any computer shop. You need to drive and look for a shop outside the village and usually the two girls do their assignments during the night after they came home from school.

We felt their struggle so we told them to pray for a new computer. and Praise God, recently we got one brand new computer. Actually we have few more lists that we needs to purchase for our house but we need to do it one at a time. Might not sure if we will consider to buy a kd-8 for the kids. But who knows if someone with these kids has a passion in music then we can consider it but that will be the last priority in our lists.

Garrage Sale Of A Friend

Our friend is about to leave Hatyai and will be home in the Philippines most probably for good. This is the best thing for us looking for some stuff they might sell for a cheap price. Since we are looking for some other things that we still need in the house we contact them and ask for stuff they are selling away. We thought they might have some furniture like cabinet or drawers for the kids. Or like hanging doors for our kitchen. But as we checked their stuff it's like we don't have anything we are looking into.

It's very hard to get a cheap furniture right now and if there are some people selling it, it's also fast to get a buyer. Hope there will be another family will move to other places soon.

Growing Up, Level Up

Proud parents. Indeed we are a proud parents seeing our little boy before is now growing up. Last few days ago he graduated from his kindergarten and next school year he will be in Grade 1. Time flies so fast and we just didn't realize how grew up that fast.

He is now leveling up his knowledge and his world in education. We just hope and pray that he will have also development in his study habit. Before he is not really interested in studying. Or I think in his young age of 6 years old he didn't came across taking seriously on his schooling. But I believe one day he will realize how important education is in his life.

Singing Diva

We have this little cute and lovely girl in the house. She is our favorite among the seven kids we have in the house. She is also the youngest among them. What makes her more adorable was her guts to sing. She loves to sing. We always make fun of her and let her sing. She sometimes holds a stick like her wireless mics and started singing.She is our singing diva in the house. Hope she will be a great singer or musician someday.

Having this kind of little kids helps our environment inside the house filled with joy and peace. It takes away our tiresome of the day. It is our reliever. Thanking God for this wonderful opportunity to be with this kind of kids. Fortunately, all these seven kids have their own individual strength that makes us blessed having them. They are a loving and caring kids.

Exercising My Thai Language Skills

I praise and thank God for giving us an opportunity to go to church regularly now. Since we moved to our new place, it is very easy for us to go to church. The church is only a few steps from the house. I enjoy worshiping God and I can really feel His presence during our worship time. Accompanied by a wonderful music instruments I can feel God's presence so near to me. The church we are attending has a talented guitarist that plays guitar harmoniously. The guitar in the church might not like mh53 but we have a melodious worship to our Great God.

One more thing that I enjoy is, developing my Language skills in translations. God used me to translate from Thai to English during sermon time. Though sometimes I can't follow the Pastor preaching yet God gives me wisdom to get it's content. I could say that translation is a hard job as well. Trying to have a presence of mind and following someones words is not so easy. But I praise God for this humble opportunity He has given me.

Becoming Sickly, Needs Exercise

I just noticed with my health since this year I am bit sickly. I am not sure, if this is because I am getting older or weather changing from time to time. I can't help but to accept the thought that I am not young of age any longer. few more years I will rich the golden age of my life. I think I need to have a regular exercise but with our situation in the house now, I doubt if I can do it. I tried to look for some possible time to go jogging but seem my free time will be in the middle of the day and I don't want to jog under the heat of the sun. Most of our kids needs some attention when they are at home. We need to keep an eye with them from time to time. But I wouldn't like to ignore my physical body's need. Hope I can do a jog even three time a week. I think this will be enough for now.

My wife sometime, suggest to take vitamins for supplementary but I don't want my body to be immune with drugs at all. I believe eating nutritious food with a regular exercise is best remedy to having a good and healthy body.

Countdown

I am already in a countdown for our vacation to Philippines this year. It's been more than two years that we haven't gone home to Philippines and I am excited to see my family, friends, churchmate. I know that our family in the Philippines are now preparing some itinerary of our stay there.

Eventually, we have already in mind what to bring back home for our family and friends. We are already scheduled to buy some silver jewelry in Nakhonsithamarat.
