There is no parallel in India to this man Dr.Ambedkar, who stood for the Righteousness, for the right cause and for the right people. Unlike any Indian of this century, most of them are tainted, sexual weirdo's, corrupted, frauds and thieves, rapists and destroyed India's values, but Dr.Ambedkar stood Tall as the most Honest and wholesome man with impeccable human record, human values and dignity, he upheld Buddha's teachings before his Death. He is the Real India and his people are the Real Indians. Dr.Ambedkar did not just work for a section or part of the society, he brought the heterogeneous mess of India into One Under the Constitution of India.

Arising Light is about the life of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956) and social welfare in India. Uplifting himself from the community of untouchables in India he educated himself in the West and became a national leader in India’s struggle for equality and justice.

The Story

Arising Light is about the life of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956) and social welfare in India. Uplifting himself from the community of untouchables in India he educated himself in the West and became a national leader in India’s struggle for equality and justice.

Ambedkar framed the constitution of India making it a secular state and provided national emblems, in particular the Asoka Lions, and the Dharma Wheel on the national flag. Dr Ambedkar was India’s first Minister of Law. On October 14th 1956 Dr Ambedkar embraced Buddhism with 500,000 followers. This documentary feature film is a celebration of the work of Dr Ambedkar.

Our Project

The project is a 60-minute film on the life story of Dr Ambedkar, a peer of Gandhi and Nehru. It looks in depth at the historical and sociological implications of Ambedkar's peaceful revolution. The story of Dr Ambedkar unfolds from a narrative about his leadership and a social humanitarian movement with reflections on the roots of Buddhism and ancient sources and inspirations from India.

The goal of the project is to reach an international audience worldwide for telling the story of Dr B. R. Ambedkar. The resulting knowledge could then possibly assist people of the underclass untouchable community.

Nickelodeon Networks: The Untouchable Kids of India Video

In 2007 Linda Ellerbee of the Nickelodeon Network presented a program on the Nickeleodon Networks of America.
This video titled "The Untouchable Kids of India Video". If you want to know how despicable and disgusting the caste system, driving the very original people of India into ghettos and seggregated living where poverty rule without proper sanitation, education and job opportunities to millions of dalits. For those readers and well wishers of these deserved Indians, be mindful and watchful when this award winning presenter makes the greatest blunder of uttering none-sense about Gandhi as a savior of poor, Gandhi was one of the worst leaders of India who advocated the divisions, seggregations and caste system of India. Apart from this blunder, there is another blunder in writing about her visit to India, the following article mentions that Linda has travelled to India the world's largest democracy to reveal the little dirty secret, by no means the untouchablity and caste system are little secret, it is probably the biggest secret of bigotry, aparthied and racism on this planet, somehow India was able to hide these dirty and pathological system because hindus and the hindus run Indian government made every effort unimaginable to block this secret going out of India and to go into human rights groups accross the world. But, in the recent years, India's dirty secret started smelling all over the world, it is going to spread much more before some revolution that can eradicate and annhilate India's caste system and caste lovers. Upliftthem blog wrote an immediate response about this ignorance and biased expression of Linda about Gandhi, infact Linda would have done a great service to this people, if she had any slightest historical and truthful knowledge about who was the great savior of untouchables, it is Dr.Ambedkar, who fought throughout his life to destroy the caste system, ultimately he made it illegal to practice untouchabality and wrote it in the constituition, though the law and enforcement thereafter did not do their deligence and honest implementation of the laws in the Indian constituition, the people are increasingly become aware of this oppression is master minded by hindus and of those people like Gandhi's never genuinely wanted to get rid of such pathology, infact they used it for their growth and political survivals.

But, in any case, besides those two blunders, it is a very moving and real plights of the dalits that is shown by her in this video, I wish people all over the world watch this. Just ignore Gandhi and whatever she talks about Gandhi.

In the eastern Indian province of Bihar, hundreds of villagers have been butchered as an army of lower caste Dalits unleash their fury on their feudal rulers and as the upper castes retaliate.

In the village of Narayanpur the brutalized bodies of men, women and children lie slumped where they were slain. They were victims of the Ranvir Sena, a private upper caste army. For the Sena this is a fight to preserve the centuries old way of life they believe is their birthright. "We kill whomever we see," Sena's young fighters tell us. The local landlord is unflinching in his support. "When we kill the men, their wives and children lead more miserable lives, so it is better to relieve them of their miseries too." In this state where caste hatred infects everything, Dalit election successes may deliver more spilt blood rather than progress.

14th April 2008 was the 117th Birth Anniversary of Bhimrao Dr. B.R.Ambedkar. The day is celebrated as 'Muktiparva' by Dalits all over the country and elsewhere. Hundreds of thousands of Dalits spontaneously assemble at the Parliament House in New Delhi, Mumbai, Nagpur and elsewhere to pay their tributes to Dr. Ambedkar, who championed the cause of Dalits and the marginalized. As the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of Indian Constitution, entrusted with the task of drafting the Constitution of free India, he ensured that the constitution guarantees equality to each citizen of India and abolished untouchability. This made social equality a fundamental right, which was denied to Dalits since centuries.
