Why did Nokia failed?

The question that we all have in our mind still no one has been able to clearly explain it to us. Well, i am going to tell you why and how did the mobile giant company Nokia was brought down into history.

World top hand set maker Nokia 14 year old era was succeeded by its competitor Samsung. Nokia has a history and in order to look how nokia failed we must consider taking a breif look at the times of Nokia 'The handset Giant'.

Now we all know that how revolutionary were the first smartphones we all have back in those days, the Nokia 1100, 3310, and those amazing handy sets. That was the time when Nokia was on up rise with the best hardcore mobile phones in the market. Nokia N95 was considered as World most smartest phone with it's first 5megapixel camera. Well, no doubt Nokia did made the best hardware mobile phones which were rough, strong and effective. Till 2007 well most of the world Smartphone being used were Nokia.

Then, came the Ultimate devices, the iPhone in 2007. Apple just changed the outlook that what smartphone should be, a new era of smartphone. Well, Nokia didn't took that in notice and keep on working on cameras and hardware stuff while ignoring the challenges rising in the World, a new era of smartphones having app based operating systems.

finally came the Androids. Those beastly operating system and with super fast multi function compatibility as compared to Nokia phone running old WAP browsers.
   Leap came and Samsung took the chance and moved with the flow. While, Nokia just didn't wanted to give up the old robust Symbian OS.

The Android phones and iphone thus gradually started to take away all the consumers in the World and impressing them with what smartphone could be. Nokia invested in windows Phone while Samsung invested in Android which really paid off while windows phone at that time didn't.
   Samsung played on multiple OS windows, android and it's own Bada OS in order to have backup plans for everything. Though Nokia didn't and stick to old tradition marketing strategy.
Nokia investment in Lumia series didn't paid off as lack of apps as compared to Android.

On low end battle field , companies like ZTE, Huawei, and china mobile industry made Nokia lose it's feet on the ground. And while Samsung was hitting Nokia hard and hard with the Galaxy series.Windows phone at that time couldn't face Android and Apple. The battle was already shifted to iPhones vs Androids, while windows phone weren't in the league.

   Nokia started to lose it's share as the smartphone market grow.

The main reason Nokia failed was lack of innovation and making the right decision at right time.
Nokia didn't make the choices at right time.

As when Lumia series was launched in partnership with Microsoft to face off android and iPhone s, it was already too late. if they might have launched earlier, then things would have been different. Though no doubt Nokia made the best hardware devices but lack of innovation in software design and OS, The mighty Nokia was over within nights.

This is how Nokia came a part of History, will always be remembered as the key stone to mobile phone revolution. Microsoft now runs the Lumia Series which are coming back with new ultimate devices powered with windows10 and better processors.

Microsoft Lumia is the future, as Microsoft is expanding there app store to compete with the android and iOS giants. And as per new Microsoft devices have been seen, they outsmart the latest androids and iPhone s.

How to Root Nokia X

NokiaX and XL the first handon nokia Android launched in the Market. The OS they run is Almost similar to Android though modified and called Nandroid. 6.There will be SuperUSer zip file, Flash it.

7.After Flashing select Reboot.

8.After reboot it will give command "Fixing CWM" select "NO" .

Well i got my lumia 1520 few weeks back,though i hated lumia Phones i though that wha stubborness i have to deal with or what mess i have gotten myself.But !!!
Beleive me its Amazing 7 has not left me down once. I use it For my college work and office really helps. Now i only Need to Use computer for high level work, i use office on 1520 to do paper Work. It take some time to adapt to typing on this massive huge device but after that its a real time saver. for me,beyonf 1520 is Only a Laptop Since its gives me the perk what most of the tablets Do.Its Something worth for to Spend some cash.i rate it 9/10 but only limited apps availability is the only fault.Besides the device is Amzaing.

How To Determine Bootloader?

In order to determine which bootloader you have on your phone, you must first power down your phone with NO wires plugged in, then while holding the VOL + button, plug in the usb cable, remain holding the VOL + buton until you feel a short vibration plug in the cable (OEM Nokia cable for flashing) and then when your computer recognizes the device remove your fingers.

Your (windows) computer will start trying to install drivers, double click on the little moving icon in your task bar to bring up the driver software installation window.

If it says Nokia DLOAD, well you have Nokia Dload, if there a bunch of things getting their drivers installed, one being Qualcomm, then you have Qualcomm.

Note:
If you have Qualcomm windows will tell you to format your device.Donot donot Format your phone at all Cost otherwise your phone will be Bricked Forever.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now If you Already have Nokia DLOAD then skip to Step 3.
If you have qualcomm then follow the given instructions below..!!

The NSS Nemesis.Service.Suite

The first thing we are going to need is nss.just follow the steps below and everything would be fine.Please note that this step is for conversion of Qualmcomm bootloader to DLOAD. This is kind of Downgrading.Please Follow the Steps Carefully

Metro theme is NASTY it has too many controls. Press the wrong one and your colors are screwed. (Stay away)

Themes install installs more colors but can screw up and have it show blue for live tiles but for real it is orange (it is complicated and STAY AWAY)

Even better no music thing on lockscreen so you access with the Volume Rocker!! When you are done Stop the Music! (app in the MarketPlace) will remove your music control

-Picture live tile does not resize to the biggest if once resized
-Some of the tiles have custom icons like the music+video tile, and maps tile, if those are resized to the little tiles it looks like they are stretched
-The email tile does not show incoming email text, it shows only the number of emails (but it should display some text like the messages tile)
-The small tiles have names on them, but should not have like WP8
-Calendar tile not removing appointment on lockscreen
-The Marketplace (Store) tile sometimes have a windows logo on it, sometimes not.
-Still have to add some dictations packs.

so what you do is connect to zune and use WP Device Manager for it it works just fine. Put it in the /Windows Directory then switch languages (reboot) and go back to US english or whatever language you prefer it

When you are using the keyboard if you long press on a key then it will show up with accents. Jaxbot has figured out how to enable you to insert your own text in. Such as after school and I am going over to a friends home all it do is hold on the comma while texting and slide to the right. Now instead of an accent i have written “Going with Blake”, I simply select it and it puts that in my textbox so bam straight to my dad. I have had a messed up USB cable and whenever I mess around in WPHTweaks when my Lumia won’t sync with Zune I put pressure on the USB causing it to work. I have hated incorrectly. Feel free to hate or leave mean comments. I made a MISTAKE! Sorry Jaxbot.

How to install XAP apps….

To install XAP apps to your windows phone, You can do either of these two things:-

A) Download an XAP app on the phone browser and install it from there.
-OR-
B) Deploy it to your phone from your pc.
In this step we will cover how to do procedure B.

Note: There are many custom XAP installers on xdadevelopers, however most are outdated/buggy, It’s best to follow these steps with the official SDK

8a. Download and install Windows Phone SDK 7.1

Note 1: Zune must be installed and OPENED before proceeding.
Note 2: The phone must be CONNECTED to zune and not in the lock-screen.
8b. Open the XAP deployment tool from here:
Start –> All Programs –> Windows phone developer tools –> Application Deployment
8c. In the Target drop-down box, select Windows Phone Device.
8d. Click Browse and locate the XAP file that you want deploy to the phone.
8e. Click the Deploy button. (It will take some time depending on the file-size)

hah. you can uninstall the apps you don’t want but they reappear on startup so uninstall the ones you don’t want and delete this folder.

Here, we are going to guide you how to Jailbreak Nokia Belle Refresh using the "Coderus methoD" by step by step guide including snapshots.

Jailbreak Nokia Belle Refresh:-

1. Download all the required files to jailbreak your Nokia Phone running on Nokia Belle Refresh.

2. After extracting the downloaded file, transfer the extracted file to your Nokia Phone using Bluetooth or Data Cable. Once you have transferred the extracted file to your phone you will be able to see them through File Manager on your Phone.
Note:

If you are transferring through Bluetooth then files will be seen in the received folder.

5. Once Norton Hack.sis is installed on your Phone, Open It. In Norton Security, Tap on the Options >Antivirus > Quarantine List.

6. Now Under Quarantine List, you will be able to see few files. You have to Tap on theOptions Button and then on “Restore All“. After Taping on the “Restore All” button, a Message will popup on screen, saying “Do you want to restore all entries from the Quarantine”, Tap on Yes Button to proceed.

7. Next, you have to delete Norton Hack.sis (Norton Security) from your phone. In order to delete the Norton Security, simply Tap on the icon for few second, a popup menu will appear with Delete option.

8. Now, Launch Rom Patcher+ on your phone. You will be able to see 2 options showing on the screen i.e Install Server RP+ and Open4All Rp+. You have to Select Open4All Rp+ option by Double taping on the option.

Once you double tap on the Open4All Rp+ option, the blue Icon turns into green.

Now, Tap on the Options button and select All patches > Apply.

9. Now, open X-Plore and move or copy the “Install Server 1.7 RP+.rmp” file to to C:Patches.

10. Now, again start Rom Patcher+ and select “Install ServerRP+ 1.7 RP+” option and Tap on the Options button and select Add to Auto.

Then Again Tap on the Options button and Select All patches > Apply.

11. Restart your Phone.

You are done, now to check whether your phone is Jailbreaked or not, download this certificate error app and try to install it on your phone. If you are able to install it without any certificate error then it means your phone is Jailbreaked.

How To Interop Unlock Nokia Lumia 710/800 & Flash A Custom ROM

In the opinion of most Windows Phone 7 users, the Nokia Lumia series represents the best breed of WP7 devices. The awesome camera, form-factor and display of the Lumia 800 and 710 have gone a long way towards endearing Nokia’s Mango phones to the masses. Given the popularity of these devices, it makes sense that the developer community has been taking an active interest in finding an interop unlock method (or in simple terms, jailbreak) for the Lumia series. Fortunately, they seem to have stricken gold (or silver, for that matter). If you are lucky, Nokia sold you your device with an unlocked bootloader, paving the way for flashing custom ROMs and attaining interop unlock. Such bootloader is not to be found in all Lumia 800s, but the owners of Lumia 710 might be a whole lot more fortunate than that. Confused? Read on, and we will try to explain matters.

To check if you are one of those lucky few who have got an unlocked Qualcomm boot loader, follow the steps stated below.
Instructions For Checking If Your Device Can Be Unlocked:

Disconnect your Lumia 710 or Lumia 800 from your PC or charging inlet, and then turn it off.
Press the Volume Up and Power buttons simultaneously while the phone is still off. A short vibration will be felt, and at this point, you have to connect your phone to the PC via a USB cable. Don’t let go of the buttons for now.
Now, you will see that your system is trying to install drivers for the phone. If you don’t see it on Windows, go to the Devices and Printers menu and you will find the device driver name there.
In case you are presented with the option to format the device, press No.
If your Lumia 800 is being displayed as a Nokia DLOAD, you are out of luck and your phone can’t get an interop unlock for now. However, if you are lucky and the device type is USB Mass Storage, or anything to that effect, you have an unlocked boot loader!

Lumia 710 users will be able to get back their unlocked bootloader even if their device is being displayed as a Nokia DLOAD. To do so, follow these steps.

Go to this link (the content is in Russian, but you should be able to find the download link near the end of the linked page), and grab the firmware provided there.
Using the Nokia Care Suite, flash the firmware (downloaded in the previous step) to your 710.

Please keep in mind that you will only need to follow the above 2 steps if your Lumia 710 shows up as Nokia DLOAD in bootloader mode. Also, Nokia Lumia 800 can not be downgraded in a similar fashion, so you are stuck without an unlock for now if your Nokia Lumia 800 doesn’t show up as a USB Mass Storage device.

All our discussion and procedures so far were just to determine whether your Lumia is capable of flashing custom ROMs or not. If, by hook or crook, you have managed to get an unlocked bootloader on your Nokia WP7, you are finally ready to flash the first ever custom ROM for Lumia 710 and Lumia 800. For now, these ROMs won’t give you a full unlock, but an interop unlock isn’t too bad, as you will be able to run most homebrew apps, and now that WP7 Root Tools (reviewed here) has been released, interop unlocked devices can do almost anything full unlocked ones can. Here is what you will have to do to flash the custom ROM to your Lumia handset.

Ever Thought Of Jailbreaking Your Nokia....

YES, for the first time i amgoing to show you how you can jailbreak almost any device.But my blog covers only Nokia Jailbreak.

Basically Jailbreaking means:

"TO OVERRIDE THE PHONE DIRECTLY BY ALLOWING IT TO ACESS 3rd PARTY APPS AND MODS IS CALLED"JAILBREAKING".

Have You ever noticed while installing some particular apps from external sources(beside OVI store) ,Your device gives a command of CERTIFICATE ERROR and the app couldnot be install.This is same as in an iphone when you try to download an ipa file from other sites besides apple store and app cant be installed in it until you jailbreak your device,this is basically due to APP STORE legal rights and agreements which allow user to download only from apple store,..This is all saem in NOKIA,when you try to download an app from 3rd party supports your device gives a certificate error to validate the nokia rights and agreements.

FOR ALL NOKIA S^3 DEVICEs

In Order to remove Certificate error follow the following Instructions:

Install 1. (jailbreaknokia.blogspot.com)NortonSymbianHack.
Launch Norton.
Go to option>Anti-virus>Quarantine list
Go to option> Restore All to restore all 3 files,except prompt.
Exit application & delete Symbian Hack from your mobile.
Intall ROM PATCHER PLUS 3.1 included in Package.
Launch and apply the patch:"Open4all_RP+".
Now copy "Install server 1.7 RP+.rmp" to "E:Patches" via "Y-Browser" and apply it from "Rom Patcher".
And then there will be no Certificate error while installing 3rd party or uncertified apps..
