I recently had the opportunity to create the cover illustration for Star Tribune’s quarterly publication – The Good Life. The illustration seeks to highlight the stresses and pressures of being a caregiver.

I’m excited to be a part of Illozine #16. The theme is LOUD! and it is quite an explosive collection. Illozine is an illustrated quarterly zine which features a bevy of creative talent. Take a look here.

Even though the illustration is printed in black and white, I thought I’d share my color version as well. This illustration will be the guinea pig for my first risograph print. Stay tuned!…

Recently completed album cover illustration for David Allen Ho’. Death and Love is a beautiful album that will warm even the coldest of hearts in the dead of winter. Little critter eyes were a last minute add, but I think I like ’em (if only to tie that yellow back in).

I recently completed this holiday portrait commission for a couple of friends of mine (they are human). This project was a fun challenge in capturing their likenesses (in animal form) and a great excuse to play off of the classic American Gothic painting.

ARTCRANK MSP!

So excited to be a part of this year’s ARTCRANK MSP – The Poster Party for Bike People! My poster “The Cycle of Seasons” represents the changing of seasons in MN, escaping winter, and embracing spring.

The show was held at Fulton Brewery and showcased an outstanding line-up of local artists. To see photos from the opening night and posters from participating artists, take a peek here. Also, the poster sale has been extended through the end of August at Hamilton Ink Spot.
