I replied to Liam and Jodie and continued to get ready.
After my shower I sat in my room and looked at pictures I had taken in England, there were some very good memories and it made me want to head home even more!
I then went downstairs where Baptiste asked if I wanted to have a quick game of Ping Pong before having lunch. For lunch his older sister had prepared salmon, spinach, beans and strawberries. I don't normally like salmon, but I decided to try it. And I am glad I did - It was the nicest piece of Salmon I have ever had.
Anyway, after that I quickly got my stuff and headed out of the house to la gare. Me and Baptiste didn't talk much on the way there ( we walked BTW ) apart from him telling me that we would be going to Alex's again tonight for pizza. (:
So I saw everyone at the station, wished Liam a Happy Birthday, signed a group card, gave him my card, watch him receive the group card and cake, watched him eat cake, watched him open his present from someone XD and waited for the train.
When it finally arrived we all saw that it was a double decker! Although in fairness it does have three 'floors' so really it was a triple decker.
After a short journey we were there and we were let loose, only being told to return there ( the meeting point outside Virgin Megastores ) at 5.
Liam, Jonny and I set off in one direction saw all the shops and got bored already after only thirty or fourty minutes! So we went into a small food shop in search of Jonny's favourite - Vainilla Coca-Cola
!?,…'—/:;()₩§@»°9876513']}’=+*^‰#}{_\|~<>€$¥•£§§§!/ ( Sorry got carried away pressing random buttons lol )
We didn't find it but found a one and a half litre bottle of lemon coke for 1€48 so we each put fifty cents towards it and shared it. As we went out some guy was standing there who greeted us - Here is out convo we had …
Guy - Yo what's up whiteboys?!
Me - lol
Guy - Can I buy you guys a drink?
( At this point I thought he was some black guy asking us if we wanted him to buy us alcohol )
Liam - We've got one here ( Raises bottle )
Guy - Oh okay! Wow, now give me some of that motherfucker!
( We now realise he's just a twat or he's drunk so we walked off and saw some more military guys with Famas' )
Because we thiught that was it we Went into the shop we were saving for last ... Virgin. We walked in and they had some pretty awesome stuff, LOTR, some games ( Unfortunatley in French ) some headphones that Liam was looking for and then we found the Pokémon cards! Me and Jonny bought two packs each. Everything there was quite expensive and they cost us 9€ for two packs. I'll open then when I get back (:
As we were walking off thinking how small and shit it was Liam noticed and outdoors place that had shops - We walked through and saw the whole shopping place! It was amazing!
There were shops everywhere! We looked in a few but decided to go into a sports shop for a while to please Liam and I looked for a skateboard or a longboard ( Which they didn't have ): )
After thT we went into the Lacoste shop to see what they had, but we soon left because a single polo top was 80€ so we went into the Quicksilver shop. I love Quicksilver! The stuff wasn't badly priced and I don't know why I didn't get anything!!! I'm so annoyed with myself!
They had really nice tops and really awesome bags ( I need one for school ) and then I saw the longboards! They were amazing but a 37" ( I think it was 37" ) would've cost 129€ :/ If I had the money I would've got some skate shoes, shorts, jeans, tops, a bag and the board! But alas, I did not ):
We looked at the map and saw that they had a Toys'R'Us so we headed there!
Once we arrived we went right and looked at some stuff - I got some pictures too (: There was quite a bit of Pokemon stuff and Star Wars. They didn't have any good skateboards but we found a good prop gun for filming, it's just a hand gun but still (: They did have an M16 but it was 20€ and quite big :/
Jonny got his guy a small Mario figure after trying to find a Star Wars one for a similar price. And on our way out we saw Swarley who wanted to buy a Hello Kitty sticker sheet fir her room, but it was like 4€ or something stupid. Oh and they had HUUGE Pots of Nutella. It was like 7kg and cost about 35€ :O
So we head back and I still didn't get the bag )': I guess I'll order one when I get back (: and repay my Dad for the camera. :/
So we met up again outside Virgin and waited for everyone. Once everyone was back we got our tickets and headed to the train which arrived soon after we got down there and we were soon back in Maisons Laffitte.
Pierre-Malo was there when I got back and so was Alex's guy and Liam's guy's Dad whi tried to find out when I was going to his. When went to leave Alex's guy started talking to my guy's brother and when he went to leave he said I was going back with Alex's straight away!
So we headed back to his, I saw his room and I watched him on Facebook. We then went to the Park and met up with a few people. All the guys apart from me and Louis played football. So we watched and mucked about until they had to go, so we left too.
Unfortunatley Liam couldn't come too because his people had prepared a Birthday Barbeque for him so they didn't want him going somewhere else. Which I guess is understandable but I feel kinda bad for him on his birthday :/ ):
Once we got back we went on Alex's PSP on Fifa '08 and on their PS3 on NFS Shift because it's the only game they had :/ It's not very good, and I found the PSP more impressive how it had such good graphics for such a small thing!
After that we had dinner which was nice - Cucumber, Pizza and Profiteroles. Followed by a movie - The Visitors. It was quite funny and I understood it all even though it was in French. That had nothing to do with the english subtitles.
When the movie finished it was about 23:30 so we left, and walked home in the cold ):
Once we were in she told me she had gifts for me to take home for my parents, which was very nice of her!
So now I shall sleep so I wake up in 6 hours! Early start ( 7:30 ) to pack up and stuff (:

Goodnight y'all (:

"Give me some of that motherfucker!"

:: French Exchange - RollerCoaster Tycoon! ::

:: French Exchange - RollerCoaster Tycoon! ::
I'm all charged up and ready to go! Okay so it's 22:23 English time, and I've only just got back in - pretty much (: More on that later (: Okay so today I woke up at 9:00 ish ( French time ) got ready wearing my awesome sailors outift and walked to the swimming pool! Just to clarify, it wasn't actually a sailors outfit, but I was wearing White and blue striped shorts, a White and blue striped top and blue shoes. So Liam said I was in my 'Gay Sailor' clothes ... Yeaaaaah. Anyway, so it turns out Baptiste isn going and neither is Alex's or Liam's person - so we got on the bus with Jonny and Julian ( His Frenchie ) and set off for Parc Asterix. So now for a lot of the journey, we ( mainly me ) tried to tell Jonny how to say things in French to Julian. It was quite funny (: Oh and it turns out that Julian likes; Lego, Star Wars, Lego Star Wars, LOTR ( And if you don't know what that is then the chances are you don't care (: ) and he is epic at guitar (: So yeah (: Oh, he wears skinnies too XD After a while of drivng we get there, get our ticket and set off. Me and Jonny were going to go with Liam, Alice, Erin etc but they went straight for the big rollercoaster so we went with Alex, Harriet and Lauren - Who speeded off. So Me Jonny and Julian headed for the first, and closest water ride. Once we got there there wasn't much queue so we were on pretty quickly. You climb about 30ft, drop about 6-10 and then slowly go through the slow bit before the 20ft drop at the end (: I then realised I like the drops, and don't mind heights (: So we head for the next water ride which has two drops, one of which is pretty steep and lasts for two seconds and the other is smaller and isn't too bad. I loves it but got a bit wet. We then found somewhere to sit down and eat before heading off to the dolphin show but we had to wait about and hour so Jonny found a small rollercoaster, with no loops ( None of us like loops ) so we went on it. I absolutely loved it! So we went on again (: After that we saw the dolphin show which was good but me and Jonny were often paying more attention to the rebel dolphin that was playing with the balls and not doing the tricks than the actual things (: It was still good. After that we went on a couple more water rides including one in a bug ring that spun round a lot! Also the second tine we went on that rude we saw someone who looked and sounded exactly like Ryan Shepard. If his hair was shorter. Unfortunatley I couldn't get a picture while we were on the ride ); After that we wandered round to the 3rd biggest rollercoaster. It was AMAZING. It didn't have tracks but you rolled down and around it - It curved so that the only thing holding you in was the G-Force! We had to queue for ages because it was later so there was more people but it was so worth it , you took a thirty second climb and then you dropped ... I bought a picture of me and Jonny on it, I'll scan it in and upload it when I'm back! After that there wasn't much time so we went on the small rollercoaster again then a tiny circuit one for kids and climbed some stuff before heading to the checkpoint to meet the teachers. Swarley met with us on the way there because she got ditched, and Rosie and Jess were there when we arrived. I got another ice cream, had it, waited for people to turn up and then we went home (: Once we were back Alex, Liam and I waited for a while to be picked up and talked about stuff before walking back home. Once home I put my stuff in my room, put on another top and went back out to Harriet's for dinner. When I arrived Lauren was there too, so we sat down, had this weird version of fondue ( Begins with R, ratt-something? ) and then strawberries. After we played Ping Pong, and then cards. I mainly just talked to Lauren and Harriet and we laughed quite a lot (: We left there at about 11:00 and walked home, then I brisehed my teeth, put on some Blistex, put in my retainer and started to write this. So now I shall go to bed and sleep untill 11:00 (: When I shall get up, have a shower, lunch and then go to La Defensé. Oh and tomorrow is Liam's birthday, so I might get him something. And I'll try to cheer him up of he is still a hit miffed from today ... Long story , not saying. I hope there is an Internet café (: Bonne Nuit y'all (: <3 HOME SOON! XD

:: French Exchange - Versails ::

:: French Exchange - Versails ::
Ah, hello again!
Today wasn't the best day so far, but still good (:
To begin with I woke up at about 10 had a shower, got stuff ready, played guitar, looked up some words and played on here ( my iPod ) for a little while. It was getting on for 12 when I went downstairs, Baptiste was there but there was no sign of his mum.
We played on Pro Evolution Soccer 4. Again. And I got beaten. Again. I mean I don't mind it, I'm just not a big fan of football :/ But I <3 Games so (:
After a little while Marie-Agnes arrived with the oldest daughter, who she had picked up from the airport. She is very pretty and is at university studying English.
Marie-Agnes informed me that we would be going to her sister's for lunch and so we headed off to there. On the way there she told me that her brother-in-law spoke good English, so I wouldn't feel too left out. She also said he was a hip-hop dancer. So ...
Once we got there we were welcomed in and I was taught how to play 'French Snooker' which they called Billiards ( Which I thought was something else ... But hey ho ) It wasn't very good and was more luck than skill I think :/
For lunch there was; bread and salad as a starter - spicy chicken on skewers, sausages and rattatouille for main - followed by date and fig bake and strawberries. I didn't have all of it because I don't seem to feel very hungry ( Although the lack of food might be the source of my lack of energy ... )
While we were eating the 'hip-hop dancer' ( Can't remember his name, which is a shame ): ) was telling me about accents and languages. It was quite interesting and he was quite funny so it didn't get too boring. He spoke with an American English accent because he worked in Louisiana for a while and he talked about that a bit. Once we were done eating and talking me and Baptiste played a bit more Billiards before we had to leave to Versails.
We went in the car and soon arrived there, at a huge castle. It looked amazing, and it was huge!
we met up with Liam and Alex once we were inside, and we saw Lauren and Harriet ( But not together, even though they wanted to be and they were in the same place. :/ ) I took some pictures and spoke to Liam about stuff mainly. Quite a lot about how we wanted to go to France ourselves when we are 16, which is in fact only next year seeing as Liam's birthday is this Tuesday! ( the 20th, it will have already passed by the time I post this ... )
We then headed home and Liam came with me soon followed by Alex. We all had drinks and then had France vs England sports matches like Ping Pong (We lost 5-1 I think) and Football (We won 6-1)
For dinner we had crepes with ham and cheese and then small crepes that were plain and for desert kore crepes with lemon and sugar. Although I didn't have any desert because I was too full.
After that I had a shower and got to bed.
What an exciting day (:
Although it was actually quite good (:

Anyway, get to see everyone tomorrow, going to Parc Asterix (:
Liam's making me try a rollercoaster, which is fair enough, but I think I'll probably just stick to water rides (:
I love water (:

Anyway, night y'all <-- Lol, talked about that today, Hip Hop guy said in the South of America they invented a plural of you ... You all ~ Y'all (:
Loovve youu guuyssss <3

:: French Exchange - Friends and Family ::

:: French Exchange - Family and Friends ::
Hey everyone! At the time of writing I just got back from Alex's at 23:50 (: On with the story!
Today was the first 'free day' in the sense that it wasn't pre-organised by the twinning association.
At the beggining of this trip the weekend with the family were the days I was least looking forward to, but after we planned to meet with Liam today I thought it would be okay.
This morning I slept until gone 11 when I decided to get up and get ready. Once I was done it was lunch time and we had these chunky fish finger things (: Piere-Malo was working on the fish Market very early in the morning and joked that he had caught them especially for me, which was quite amusing.
After lunch we had a while before we were meeting Liam at the train station so we played on Pro Evolution Soccer 4 for PS2 which I suck at. The first game I was England and Baptiste was North London - He beat me, 3-1 I think. We then played another game of France vs England where I got thrashed again with Baptiste scoring within the first 10 seconds! The end result was 5-1, so I hadn't really improved!
We then walked to the train station, it was very hot, one of the best days so far! Luckily we don't live too far from the station so within 10 minutes we were there and to my suprise so was Alex! I didn't know but the parents had arranged for him to come aswell! Soon after me, Liam arrived and was equally shocked at Alex's appearance!
When we head down to the platform we walked down another broken escalator, which seems to be a common thing in France. As does the speed in which trains pass through the station! I don't think they even slow down! Anyway, we got the train and about 6 stops later we got off in Paris. It was such a relief to be off the packed train!
To begin with we went to a relatively new gallery called the BoBo (not sure how you spell it) unfortunatley I did not bring my camera but Liam did and so he took some pictures for me (: I'll try to get a link to them here somewhere (:
Outside there were huge pipes, loads of people and some street performers. One person was dressed up as a fairy and had a sign saying free hugs which the French mum's didn't understand so we tried to explain. They were shocked that people were hugging! Me and Liam explained it was friendly, but they were asking if they were getting married and thought it was a big thing. They were also questioning that it was gay, which made us laugh so we explained that it it the equivilant of a handshake to us, as a greeting, but they were still confused. lol
It was full of all types of art, including a huge painting that was just blue. Honestly, that was it. Just blue. And people wre staring at it and taking pictures!
There was an exebition of Sigmund Freud's grandson/daughter which mainly consisted of nude paintings, which wasn't very pleasant. There were also paintings of really fat women naked, it really wasn't nice.
After that we went where there were more paintings of an abstract nature such as Picaso, Kadinsky and alike.
There were these interesing sculptures and working models such as one that was tubes with a light and speaker in and when the light turned on in a certain tube at a certain level it made a specific sound. Liam went to take a picture of it but it stopped just as he got there and he just looked at me and said "James, go now. I think I broke it." but the way he said it was so funny because he obviously hadn't but he really thought he had XD
There wasn't really much else there so we left towards Notre Dam. We were getting more and more tired as we walked more and more and the parents offered to buy us all an ice-cream to which we all accepted.
We found many shops that sold them but they all had long queues, so we continued to walk until we found one with relatively no queue at all!
There were many flavours to choose from but I went with Mango and Strawberry (two seperate flavours, not a mixture lol) which was very nice and was more of a sorbet than ice-cream! Not that it's a bad thing (:
We then walked back to Notre Dame along the River Senne which was amazing, and once we got there they had stopped the tours that took you to the top so we couldn't do that unfortunatley ): But we still went inside and it was amazing. We keep saying that we can't believe how intracate the buildings and structures are considering how long ago they were built and how they wouldn't have had the technology we do now to help!
After walking around for a while we headed back to the train station. Once we were there we didn't wait for long before our train arrived and then not too long before we arrived back in Maisons Laffittes where I was informed that I was invited to Alex's for dinner!
So we all walked home and by the time we got back me and Baptiste only had a short amount if time to play badminton and quickly get ready to go out.
Alex lives about 5 minutes from where we are so we were soon there. I think we arrived at about 8:00pm when me and Alex started talking and practically didn't stop until we left about 3 hours later! We had lots too eat and I was really full! They had tiny frankfurter sausages to start followed by pizza ( actually 4 pizzas but I only bad 3 slices in total ). The Dad then came in with olives so I had a green one. Then they had fruit, then yoghurt (which we didn't have ) and a sorbet with 3 flavours on it. Alex is quite fussey with foods and only normally likes plain flavours but really liked the sorbet which was Mango Strawvery and something else! So basically what I had earlier! They then brought out sponge cake, which was thankfully the last thing!
Me and Alex just talked about lots of different things like; where we want to be in 20 years, sports, what we do, yes or no girls, and stuff about our past which was really interesting to find out about because even though I had known Alex for a long time I didn't actually know a lot about him! So it was good getting to know him!
After that me and Baptiste walked back home and talked about music even more, we have very similar tastes - Justice, ACDC, Led Zep, Supertramp and a few more!
Once we got in I brushed my teeth and got into bed where I started writing this (:
Tomorrow Alex Liam and I are going to Versailles, which should be good even though we don't really know what or where it is :/
Lots of other people are going to Versailles aswell so we might see them there (:
My bottom lip has got sunburnt and is very sore ): I put SPF chap stick on it and kept reaplying but they still got burnt ):
Hopefully they'll get better (:
Anyway, I'll write soon ... I I remember anything else from today I'll put it in the text or added on the bottom (:

Night everyone!! <3 - 00:50 :P

:: French Exchange - Paris! ::

:: French Exchange - Paris! ::
Bonjour!
Today was the best day so far in my opinion!
As I think I have previously mentioned, I do not like heights at all - And today was the trip to the Eiffel Tower ... Which is huge (About 300m, I think)
But I'll start at the very beggining ( for it's a very good place to start - Movie reference XD ) I woke up this morning at 8:00am and got ready to be picked up at 8:30 by Charlotte DEMOULY. I was nearly late and was rushed out of the house by the oldest brother, who quickly got things for me to have for lunch.
I got in the car and I was soon speaking to Liam, who was awake today! We talked about the day before, cards, and who we were going as to Erin's fancy dress party ( We agreed on me as Batman and Liam as the Joker although I wanted to be a Pirate XD ) and soon enough it was time to leave to regroup a La Picsine ( The Swimming Pool - Which you can't go in unless you have Speedo's :/ )
We boarded the bus and head off to Paris.
The journey seemed quite long because of traffic but was relatively short. Most people were getting quite bored of the travelling until we got to the main street, which was chaotic! It would seem that French driving doesn't have a specific system, because we saw cars parked sideways in the middle of traffic ( I'll put links to all photo's later on )
But once we were in the main street, we could see the Arc de Triumph, which is a lot bigger than I remembered! And as we got closer we saw someone hanging from the top of it! And as we went around we saw two more people on the other side trying to hang a banner which we couldn't make out until the second time round. At the bottom there were police with MP5's and French Military with real Famas's! It turns out the banner said "What have you done with John Anzo?". John Anzo was someone who went to prison ( dnt know what for at time of writing ), but was released. However on the day of his release he dissappeared and people think that he was kidnapped by the government. Ooooh - CONSPIRACY!
Anyway, soon after, we could see the Eiffel tower, which looked big from far away.
We soon arrived at our destination and walked towards the tower. It seemed that with every step it grew in size, and once we were under it it was truely awesome, although the best was still to come!
We queued up for 5-10 minutes while dodging the people trying to sell small Eiffel towers to everyone, before fmding out we still had a while to wait until we could go up. So we found a patch of grass, sat down and had snacks.
A few minutes later we went back into the queue and waited for the lift. The wait was exhausting, but our turn finally came to go up! We all squashed in to the lift and started to ascend, diagonally. It felt very odd, and for some reason I didn't feel scared of the height once we got to the first floor. I was getting ready to get off, but the doors didn't open and we continued to travel up to the second floor, I was now begining to feel a bit scared, but once we got there I was fine! I stayed with Alex for most of the time while Liam, Alice and Erin and Harriet, Jonny and Lauren went to queue for the lift to the very top!
Me and Alex continued to walk around, look over the edge, take pictures and talk. The sights were awesome and really took your breath away.
After walking round a couple of times we sat down in the sun and had lunch. Cameron had bought some spicy peanuts ( Which I love! ) and I had a ham sandwich, an apple, an apple purée drink and a biscuit thing with chocolate in the middle (:
After we had all finished we walked down the stairs to the first floor, which was the one of the scariest parts! Luckily it wasn't too far and we soon arrived on the first floor where I went with Jodie and Harriet who headed straight to the toilets which I waited outside for a while.
Once they were done there wasn't much else to do up there so we headed to the stairs again and walked to the bottom - which the scariest part! It was about 20 stories high and we walked down it, with seemingly no support around! But once we were at the bottom it was a relief and a chance to go to the same patch of grass and relax!
Soon enough everyone was back and we all watched some breakdancers which weren't particularly good. I mean I couldn't do it but it wasn't AMAZING.
So off we headed to the river and onto a boat tour thing (:
It was very relaxing, and quite hot which made it very enjoyable!
Once that was over, we headed back to the bus where we went back past the Arc de Triumph and back down the main street - straight into the traffic. We arrived nearly an hour later than we were supposed to and Liam and Alex both came with me to where I am staying to play Ping Pong, again!
When we arrived I met Baptiste for the first time! We started talking while playing ping pong and we seem to like similar things music-wise and game-wise ( Led-Zep, Pink Floyd, The Doors and Call of Duty XD )
We then went to the Town Hall and saw the Mayor and listened to a speech. All the English people and their French counterparts were there so after the speech we all talked and Lucy sat on my lap lol
When we got back home we played more Ping Pong along with a match-the-picture game where I learn the name of some animals (: It was quite fun and we laughed at lot because I couldn't pronounce some of the words :P
For dinner we had Risotto, salad and bread, which was really nice! And the Dad's cousin was there who lives in Paris - She seemed very funny and nice (:
For desert we had toffee that I bought as a present, Marie-Agnes got her teth stuck though and she couldn't talk! It was very funny. I suppose more so if you were there (:
After that I had a shower and went to bed, where I started writing this (:

I think that was pretty much it today! It was amazing though!
Well the next two days are free days to have with the family, I think I am meeting with Liam and Alex on some of the days - I'm pretty sure we are meeting with Liam tomorrow, so that should be good! And apparently going to Alex's in the evening? I think (: lol

Well Bon Nuit! Talk soon (: XD <3

:: French Exchange - Jeudi ::

:: French Exchange - Thursday/Jeudi ::
Ah, hello zerre (:
Today was possibly the best day so far!
In the morning I woke up, brushed my teeth and I got picked up by Liam's family at 8:30 (all times will be the French time unless I say otherwise).
When I got there I went to Liam's room just as he was waking up! I went in and noticed a strong smell that I recognised from Newmarket - Horses.
It turns out that Liam's family, the DEMOULY's own a stable, right next to their house! Which seems pretty cool until you smell it :/
Me and Liam talked for a while, about his 'Frenchie'; Florent. He seems quite cool. He likes Batman ( Liam watched the Dark Night in french last night!) has a PSP, plays guitar and has a huge speaker set-up. I mean, it's like a slightly smaller version of a DJ stand. I don't know if that's the right name for it, but ohwell.
Liam told me about 'Lion cereal' which he later explained is like the Lion chocolate bars, but it's a cereal. He also explained the common misconseption that they have nuts in. I was sure that they did but I was wrong!
He took me for a tour around the house, it was quite big ... And another thing I have noticed is that a lot of French people have spiral staircases.
His 'French Mum' offered for us to email our parents, to which we accepted. But when we looked at the keyboard, the layout was different to English keyboards. It was very similar but still different. We kept pressing ; or , instead of M, but in the end we managed.
After that we were taken to the youth center - Ah wait!! On the way there she changed gears weirdly and it made a loud crunching noise, to which the Mum shouted SHIT!!!!! really loud. It was SO funny, I think you had to be there.
When we arrived we found out that apparently we should've been there between 9 and 10 but we thought it was at 10 so people were already there and doing different activities.
Me and Liam played Ping Pong most of the time, I think it is our new favourite sport! Once you get the hang of doing it gently and doing rally ( trying to see how long you can keep going without missing ) it is very easy ablnd me and Liam just talked about different things while playing. We worked out that we have probably played 4-6 hours of Ping Pong in just 2 days!
After playing some games we helped prepare the food, we cut tomatoes and radishes, although I don't think anyone actually had any radishes at the meal :/
And then after that Caneron Fay taught a few of us how to play 'Texas Hold 'Em' Poker. It was a lot of fun to play, but we didn't use real money, just chips. As in Poker Chips, not edible ones.
Then it was time to eat, we mainly just had bread because there wasn't much else, but I don't seem to be very hungry here in France.
After that we played more Ping Pong and then went for a walk. We walked along the River Senne ( <-- Not sure how it's spelt lol) and I took a lot of pictures. There was also a play area with this thing with rope and poles which you can climb up ... Hard to explain, I'll put a link to the photos once I am home!
We then crossed a bridge and walked up a hill. I can't remember why, I just remember going back along the bridge lol
After that we went to the main High Street where all the shops are. Liam, Jonny and I went in search if somewhere that sold games ... We went down one side; nothing. We then went up the other side and found nothing, again. Apart from a small store that sold magazines sure Jonny and I found ONM in French with a free packet of Pokemon cards. We both bought a copy and so we had both bought the two things we wanted to get, a French magazine and some cards!
The girls then caught up with us because they couldn't find any clothes shops. So we all went to fnd somewhee to sit down, and found some seats outside a cafe but apparently we had to but drinks if we were there and they would be very expensive, so we left and went to the supermarket. We walked around for hike when someone pointed out a games section - Me and Jonny ran for it! There weren't many PS3 games but there were many DS and Wii games! We didn't buy any though because they were in French, and quite expensive!
We continued to look around and found a flat escalator for trolleys, it had lots of Kinder things between the handrails. I also found out that Nutella is made by Kinder! I did not know that! Well after that we head to the 'regrouping point' and sat down around the fountain and talked. It was really fun and we got some really good photos (:
Once everyone had returned at the end of the time we all walked back to the Youth Center where me and Liam played more Ping Pong and a quick game of pool which I won!
After that Liam and I came back to where I am staying and played even MORE Ping Pong! We talked and played for about two hours!
We took Liam back to where he is staying and then came back. I went upstairs to the toilet then watched the news, I didn't understand a lot, some stuff about Obama and Sarah Palin. And a volcano that released a large dust cloud and has prevented some planes from flying, such as Baptiste's. So he wont be here until tomorrow now ):
I am still nervous about meeting him, but I'm sure we'll get along fine.
For dinner we had spaghetti and tomato sauce and a sort of canned version of vannilla and chocolate petite filous. After we had cleared up I played a game of Blockus with Piere-Malo, Colombe and Aude while talking about different music. Me and Piere have very similar tastes in music; Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Daft Punk, Eminiem, Iron Maiden and some other stuff. I hope Baptiste likes the same!
After that I had a shower, sorted stuff out for tomorrow and started writing this. About and hour ago!
Well it's now 22:23 Englsh time so 23:23 in France!
Better sleep now!
Bon nuit!

Ah I rememeber!! The voice in my head that you normally hear when you read to yourself has a slight northeren accent and says Bath like ba th not barth how I normally say it. But it is getting slowly more and more French and I keep think of random French words or phrases that I sometimes don't even know what they mean!
Anyway, I'll try to write tomorrow - Paris!!
I'll try to go up the Eiffel tower but I am scared of heights ):
But I don't want to miss out!

Goodnight you 'oribble lot!! <3

:: French Exchange - Bienvenue! ::

:: French Exchange - Bienvenue! ::
I am writing this from Maisons Laffittes, France.
I am currently on a 'French Exchange' trip where people from Newmarket (Mainly) go to someone's house in Maisons Laffittes and take part in activities and learn French
So far I have learnt - Plate, Fork, Knife, Cup and some other stuff (: I don't know how to spell them though, so don't ask!
I know everyone who has come, apart from two people: Louis (Who I have started talking to) and Laura (Who stays with Rosie a lot so I occasionally speak to her)
It is now 20:26 English time, 21:26 French time and I'm already in bed. Although it is very early, I am often tired at the end of the day and I have to have an early start
Yesterday wasn't very enjoyable, I'm normally quite shy, so being 'given' to a strange family who speak in a different language is quite hard to do.
I am glad I can meet with my friends during the day because the person who I am meant to be staying with, Baptiste, is on a school trip and doesn't get back until late tomorrow night. So while I am getting used to the rest of the family I will still have to get used to Baptiste when I finally see him.
As I was saying earlier, I know most of the people, and I mainly hang around with Liam, Alice (His girlfriend), Jonny, Alex and Erin.
I wasn't feeling very secure and neither was Liam, so we wanted to meet up and when we were picked up today Liam came with me! It turns out Liam's family's Mum is friends with my family's Mum! So we went into the garden and played ping pong for a while, which was really fun and very funny!
I'm typing this all out on my iPod on Notes and will upload it my blog when I get home. A while :/
Since then I have had 2 new computers, got a Mac Mini, had a girlfriend, lost a girlfriend, fixed my phone, Played on PS3, got Modern Warfare 2 (THE BESTEST GAME EVAR!), made a toy gun, fell in love, got addicted to Facebook, shot stuff, run a bit, came 7th in a race, bought some albums, widened my taste in music and been to school.

Pretty much (:

Oh and here's something I made earlier (:

See y'all (:

Sleepovers A La Retro

Hey, so at the moment I am at Toby's with Liam and so far we have - been shit scared biking to Exning ( and covered in dirt ) before coming back to Toby's to play some good old PS2 - the wonder console.

Years back when that was the main console and all we would do was sit infront of it - be antisocial and get fat.

We started the night off with a round of Guitar Hero III (our favourite) followed by some Guitar Hero II. After a while of getting thrown off by the different layout and visual style we realized that a lot of the songs were ok another couple of our favourite games - Onto GTA.

So as we open up the slimline PS2 and swap over the controls from the guitar to a luminous yellow Sony controller and a vintage woolworths one with a fuched up D-PAD (which reminds me a lot of the XBOX360's) and set up for some serious rampages.
After Toby spawing many, many Hydra's onto Vice City - where Toby showed us how fucked up his saved data was, with bikini babes for gaurds and the game freezing on us every so often - we resorted to using our Action Replay Max (which the Playstation refused to recognize although it did think that it had found an Internet connection)
After starting up the game with many cheats loaded (after putting on too many and it freezing) we tested out the two main cheats - Unlimited Health and Moon jump. They worked perfectly - but not together, as we soon found out. I managed to get Toby to let me gave a go and moon jumped into the water by accident. Of course water kills you - but not if you have Unlimited Health.

And so we went into the other room - lied down and talked a bit. After a very long, very slient silence Toby decided it was time for a movie of some sort - the first thing we found? Family Guy. So we watched half a series before we noticed Liam was asleep.
The only sensable and (to me) logical thing to do was drop a cushion on his face from a small height. I held the cushion arms length from his head and dropped it ... Nothing. He was sound asleep. And with that in our minds our next logical descision kicked in. Bury him in cushions and covers, it didn't take long and soon after, we were done.

It was getting pretty late now, so we played on Guitar Hero more and I tried to beat Toby's score of 128,000 and something on Helicopter by Bloc Party on Expert. I failed, but made it in the top 3, so all was well.
We kept checking in on Liam to make sure be was still breathing - sure enough, every time he was. But now we had nothing to do. Until Liam arised from under his 'tomb' of cushions. Then we knew what to do.

A quick game of rock, paper, scissors later and Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny was in the DVD Player, letting off vibes of awesome.
After, laughing, crying and wishing we had that much power on our beasts (Guitars) I made a nice little song up about that night.

Then we went to sleep - and woke up late at 10.30 when we should've all been somewhere.

I'll post pictures etc. soon :)
See y'all (:

P.S. I wrote that (mostly) Wednesday night (at the sleepover) but have since come down with an infection which is now being cleared up with antibiotics - so done think I was leaving you out!

Where do you keep your KitKats?

Right so I was just looking for something to eat and I fancied a KitKat so I looked for it and I couldn't find them, so I looked for something else to eat in the fridge and found the Kitkats in there ...

What a fucking random place to have KitKats ...

On a seperate note, I found some Wagon Wheels in the cupboard :) (But there nto as good as they used to be :'( )

Post soon (ish) - See y'all (:

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
