Thanksgiving 2011

Another year is about to end. How time flies! At this time of year we are all reminded of being thankful and
counting our blessings and indeed we should. But I hope for myself that I can keep this thankful heart and spirit
every day of the year. The Lord has done so much for each of us!

James and I are thankful for each one of you that has supported us and our new ministry. We
appreciate your kind comments and encouraging words. We are grateful for you coming and seeing us
when we were nearby. We are thankful for our healthy little girl who is growing up so fast. We are above all thankful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his sacrifice He made for us on Calvary. We want to continually give Him praise for
all that He has done! So remember today as you spend time with your family and friends how blessed we are!

A New Fall

Fall is upon us and we will soon be getting ready for the Christmas season. This is one of my favorite times of year. I love the changing leaves and the colder weather. Growing up in Oklahoma fall colors and cooler temperatures were something you didn’t see a lot of. Now that I live in Ohio some might say that I’m crazy for loving the cooler weather because really cold weather and snow looms around the corner…oh well.

Adalyn is now 16 months old and into everything which makes the seasons that much more fun for us.
Last year at this time she still couldn’t do much. Now she is walking or rather running and exploring everything she can. We
recently took a walk at a park nearby and she laughed and squealed at the sound of the leaves underneath her little feet.
Fall has never been so fun! We have added some pictures of our trip to the park and to a pumpkin patch. So take a peak. Whatever time of the year it is take time to remember how good God is and how much He has blessed each of us!

Even though Starla and I each have personal Facebook accounts, we use our James & Starla Dean Facebook page to promote anything and everything ministry related. One of the benefits in doing so will be able to connect with an unlimited network instead of the 5,000-friend cap on personal accounts. Merry Christmas

This is one of our favorite times of year… There is something about this time of year that brings families together. It gives us a sense of renewal, happiness, joy, peace, and love. May we all remember the true reason for the season, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are excited to share our first Christmas with our daughter Adalyn and pray that as she grows up she understands that above the fun of Christmas, there was a Child born that came to save the world. May we all enjoy the season God has given us.

On the Road Together

James and Starla Dean officially started on the road in September 2010. Many of you may remember us as “and Friends” from Kevin Spencer and Friends. James traveled with Kevin for thirteen years and Starla the last four of those thirteen after they were married. We were blessed to tour the United States as well as other countries such as Canada, Honduras, and Mexico. When we found out that we were expecting our first baby we knew that we would not be able to maintain the heavy schedule that Kevin Spencer keeps. We had no idea what God had in store.

After discussing our baby news with Kevin we all knew what would have to take place. He left our home and was not able to sleep. The Lord was dealing with Kevin to have him help us start our own ministry. He came over to our home the next day and began to tell us what the Lord had shown him. We began to pray about it and felt this was the path God had chosen for us. We are traveling across the country just at a slower, family friendly pace.

Meet Adalyn Daleth Dean, born on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at 10:01 p.m. She is a healthy, growing, little girl. We are honored that the Lord has entrusted her to us and ask that you pray that we are the Godly parents she needs and deserves. You can see more pictures and videos on our Adalyn page.
