On the 22nd of May me, my Bro in law & Cousin in law went to Punggol Beach, it was a very very last minute outing, sky was grey, weather looks bad, but when we reach the beach, we was so grateful that the sky gave us a wonderful sunset.

Foam Bounce Card

I decided to get a bounce card, but i saw a video on Peter Greggs on how to build a cheap bounce card.

Here is what i used:

A4 size foam from ArtFriend = $1
Rubber band from Army market = $1

Thats all!!

Here are the steps:

1: Fold A4 foam into half and cut

2: Cut in 2 inch from both sides (the longer side)

3: Place the rubber band on the flash and slot in the card

And finish? how complicated do you think??

here is the test! Looks Good! it bounce off the card and the lights are well diffused

I will use it on actual events and show you more results from it!

Canonet QL 25

Received a Canon Canonet QL 25 from my uncle when he moved his house, delighted to see such a old and well protected camera! decided to stripped it right away! see pictures below.

Short introduction on the camera:

The Canonet QL range was introduced by Canon in March 1965, as a development of the Canonet. They are 35mm rangefinder cameras with shutter priority CdS-meter controlled auto exposure and manual override. Each is fitted with the Canon QL quick film loading system.

Film Loading & Advance	After opening camera back, film leader is aligned at mark then advanced to first frame with Quick Loading (QL) system. Advances with camera-top lever. (120° single stroke)
Frame Counter	Counts up. Resets automatically when camera back is opened.

So i decided to striped open the camera since the viewfinder is blurred, a fun process to strip open and see how precise the camera was.

It was great to collect such a vintage camera which is 40 years old!!

A day at Grandma House

A day at my grandma house

this post will be on 2 babies, cute and adorable!!, Baby boy Justin and Baby girl Aarika

i just happened to rent a 24-70mm lens for a Sunday wedding and i went straight to my grandma house, once i reached her place, i was welcome by the voice of the babies grandmothers, they was saying words like "Justin!! so cute!!!" "uhhh... Aarika is sleeping soundly" and the next thing i did was to take out my camera and start adding my shutter count straight away.

Baby expressions are the most pure no hidden meanings, happiness is in their face

My Cousin in law wife

It was her 37th Weeks when the photo shoot took place, it was taken at jimmy's place

a few days later after the shoot, she gave birth to her first baby girl 'Aarika'.

Setup D90 18-105 SB600 in softbox

tried to used 35mm but it does not work well as the room was tight and decided to change to a wider lens to complete the shot.

First PhotoShoot on cars, it was interesting as it is my first time putting my head out of the car and brought my camera in KPE tunnel. very interesting indeed.

The next shot was at Seletar , 311 Old Birdcage walk, it was a still shot, strobe were brought in by jimmy

The shoot ends at 3am in the morning, tired but had a great experience on cars and lights...
