I haven't posted in a while so here is a February update in pictures :) Arya so proud of her snowman - note the green hat and scarf (her absolute favorite color) We were making a valentines day art project for the fireplace.  The girls LOVE art projects.  I found this one on pinterest (my obession!) Morning time dress up...they raided my coat closet. It is so hard to grab

The girls were helping me blow out my 33rd birthday cake! Arya and Amiya were taking finger swipes at the cake as we were singing happy birthday! We went to Disney's Dare to Dream on Ice (princesses on ice).  I surprised the girls with the princess shirts which they were super excited about!  They really enjoyed the show...Amiya enjoyed it so much that she was trying to get on the ice

This Christmas was a lot of fun with the girls! They completely understood the concept of Santa which made Christmas season alot more memorable than last year. On Christmas Eve, we set out cookies & milk for Santa and carrots for the raindeer.  Of course both of the girls had to dig in before they went to bed. Amiya insisted on leaving the half gallon of milk for Santa.  She

We actually put up the Christmas tree before Thanksgiving. Akhil had some time off of work so I took his availabilty and had him put up the tree. The girls were so excited to put up the tree. This year they were actually able to help decorate which was fun! Arya just had to make sure the tree stand was secure Watching Akhil get it all set up. Then after Thanksgiving we put the ornaments on

Last week we went on a Disney Cruise. It was such a fun vacation that we really didn't want to come back home at all! The girls kept saying "Mickey's house is more fun than my house" which I must agree! We had heard such great things about Disney Cruises but were still unsure what to expect. It really exceeded our expectations with lots of fun, great service, beautiful, and great food.

On Pinterest I found a cute project to make glasses from pipecleaners. The girls (ahem...Arya ) were bugging Akhil while he was making work phone calls so I pulled these out and we had so much fun making some cool things out of it. :) Arya and Amiya were so excited to have their own pair of glasses...until they tore them apart about 10 minutes later! Hugs! ;) One morning, this is how I found

Arya and Amiya had a blast trick or treating! We talked so much about it beforehand but I don't think they really understood it until we starting going door to door. After about 3 houses I thought we would just head home but they just wanted to keep going. They really had so much fun saying trick or treat and then getting some fun snacks in their buckets. Thankfully they didn't get much candy

In October we went to Boo-ville in Brecksville which was a really fun Halloween party hosted by our town. They really out did themselves in decorations and festivites. The girls had a blast there and so did we! Here we are waiting for Outback Ray to start his reptile show. Amiya holding on tightly to her treats! Outback Ray asked for volunteers after each reptile he took out. Amiya was so

Decorating the windows for halloween with bats and spiders. Shortly after the girls put the spiders on the windows, they all disappered. I asked the girls what happened to the spiders and Arya said she threw them in the garbage because she doesn't like bugs! Ha! So now we only have bats hanging on our windows. Doing pumpkin art projects with the girls. Yes the did get paint all over

We went to a birthday party and the girls were so excited to ride the pony. We didn't think Arya would follow through but she did. After riding the pony, Amiya went off with our friend and got her arm painted. She was so decisive on getting a purple ball. We weren't allowed to wash her arm or push her sleeves down for days! Arya is busying "shopping" Whenever we go to my parent's house, Arya

Here are some new pictures from the past couple of weeks... Amiya decided to be a fashionista and be pantless with headbands around her upper body! Fashionista once again, with sporting all her favorite hairclips! They were watching a squirrel outside and then Amiya came to me and said "where did the squirrel go, mommy?" meaningwhile putting her hands up like this Here Arya is reading one of

For my mom's 60th Birthday, we took a family trip to Vail, Colorado. We rented a big beautiful house that all 18 of us stayed in. It was a week filled with good quality family time, eating, drinking, and exploring Colorado. Arya and Amiya had a great time there. They loved every bit of being with Dilan and Gia. They loved taking the gondola ride to the top of the mountain, seeing horses,

Some recent pictures...so here it goes!Arya sporting her "wizard" hat around the house. It is quite fashionable with the Dora pajamas! Amiya has 4 bathing suits on her..wrapped around her neck and legs! She loves putting them ontop of her clothes! Not sure why I get these girls dressed in the morning. They always have something else in mind! I heard some screaming in the playroom while I

Here are a few pictures of the past few weeks...Amiya loves to run run run and when she runs, she falls. So I make her wear knee pads outside because her knees are so scraped up! Poor thing! Here Ayra and Amiya are all dressed up and looking adorably pretty! We were leaving for our friend's Rakhee's bridal shower. The girls love sidewalk chalk but don't like two things about it. 1- they

My sweet little angel girls are TWO so what else could I do but have a 2Two party for them...get it??? 2Two - tutu - since they are turning two? ha! Am I clever or what? I am really not all that creative but it sure looked like I am since it all came together so cute! I actually surprised myself on how cute the entire party turned out. I was deadset on having a little candy table so of course

On the girl's birthday we had some fun festivites planned to celebrate with them. They definitely were excited over the decorations, cake, and all the gifts. I really can't believe my little cuties are TWO years old!!!The night before I decorated their bedroom doors with streamers. I didn't really think about how much they would love running through the decorations but they totally did!!! Here

I can't believe my little darling girls are TWO years old today! Wow! Time has flown by so quickly. I wondered when they were babies what life would be like in two years....its so much fun with them!We have been celebrating birthday week this entire week. Akhil and I took the entire week off to hang out with our little princesses. We have been doing fun things every day to make this week special

Memorial Day weekend was a fun and busy weekend. Akhil was off the entire weekend and we had absolutely no plans with friends or family. So we decided to have fun filled family weekend with just the four of us. Arya and Amiya had a ton of fun! They couldn't stop smiling the entire weekend! We first started out on Saturday morning by going to lunch at Cheesecake Factory. The morning was a bit

I was so excited for the Royal wedding back in April. Arya and Amiya knew about it since I would tell them about the wedding up until the date. So I had it all planned out that they would dress up for the big day to celebrate the Royal wedding. I thought for sure they wouldn't care much for the wedding but to my surprise they were so into it and very excited over the entire spectacular! Here are

Back in March, Akhil and I went to Vegas for a few days and so my parents watched Arya and Amiya. Rachu came to visit that week so she hung out with the girls too. And like always she took amazing photos of Arya and Amiya. I felt like I didn't miss a thing since she took so many photos and videos while we were gone! They LOVE doing downward dog! St. Patricks Day celebrations! This is my

The picture below shows Arya and Amiya with their Dora balloons. Akhil's sister Anjali stopped by one night to drop them off for the girls. So I put them by their chair at the kitchen table. I knew they would go nuts when they saw the Dora balloons in the morning and of course they did! They were so excited over Dora because she is their absolute favorite right now...I take that back she is their

For Easter I hid some plastic eggs for the girls. It was so cute that they were so into the egg hunt! The were hunting all over for the eggs and when they found the eggs they were so excited to see Dora and Elmo stickers!I told them that we are going on an Easter Egg hunt so they need to get their Dora purse to put the eggs in it. They both ran to get their Dora purse and then began hunting for

Hooray its April and the weather is finally getting better! We really haven't been up to all that much but since it began to get nice out the girls have been itching to go outside. It is really exhausting to take them both outside to play because Amiya just runs away and Arya just wants me to hold her. So I am typically holding Arya and chasing after Amiya. Then when it is time to go inside,
