What we used to do is make deals with hotels. Granted there were usually six or seven of us, so we had some bargaining ability. However, you might be able to get a good deal at a hotel offering to stay for a month or two. The only draw back is that usually they only offer the deals if you only take room service once a week, or every other week only. In Dallas we were able to get decent rooms, near the airport for $500.00 per month, paid in advance. The daily rate was something like $70.00. Good luck.

The only advantage is in being able to carry one machine instead of two, but the two systems don't talk to each other. It's not like I can have both running at the same time. A better solution is to run as a Mac and use Parallels emulation. When I got my MacBook, the tool was almost worthless, as it didn't have integration and had issues using the wireless. But my understanding is that things are different now. I haven't had a chance to re-install that software (instead relying on my old 2000 Windows machine), but it's a better solution than shutting down and pretending one or the other doesn't exist.
