check out these adorable kids! I love getting shots that capture different sides of their personalities. They were so fun to work with!!!! I can’t wait to photograph them again! I love the, “beware of dog” sign when she is so innocently holding her beloved puppy dog.

I’ve had so many requests to put up pics of the new studio – so here you go – the before - and one year later! I am so pleased with how everything turned out! It was a crazy process, but well worth it! For everyone that worked on it with me, thank you for your patience and support! I love my new space, down to the last detail. I can’t get over the gorgeous original wood floors or the custom iron work on the hanging barn doors, I am in a state of pure bliss whenever I walk in. We have had such a great response, a place to shoot, meet clients and work in an organized fab space, I’m so excited to share it with my amazing clients, I couldn’t ask for anything more! I’m thrilled that this is the new home of Jana Graham Photography.

I am the area coordinator for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (check it out here), an amazing volunteer organization that offers remembrance photography for those families suffering the loss of a baby. ”The foundation is there for parents and families to help aid them in their healing, bring hope to their future, and honor to their child. It is through remembrance that a family can begin to heal” In the past few months we have had two wonderful photographers that had to take a break due to personal family situations. I would love to have others join our team, I am heartbroken if I am out of town and have to tell the nursing staff that we will not be able to help them. This service is done out of pure love, there isn’t any recognition, (I rarely even mention my name, but only say that I am there with Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep) no monetary gain, quite often it happens late into the night when all is quiet and still. There is a feeling of personal gratitude after each session, every time I leave I feel extremely thankful for all of the little things in my life. It is rewarding and gratifying, to know that you are helping someone heal, it is an honor to be part of such a private and incredible moment in their lives. This is such a fantastic organization that anyone would be proud to be a part of. We need kind, empathetic photographers that are looking for a way to give back to this community that gives so much, even if you are only able to help every once in awhile it would be greatly appreciated. Extended family sessions are always fun, they usually happen when family comes into town and everyone is together. They are typically planned way in advance and are much anticipated. It’s always fun to watch the family interact, watch cousins joke around, and grandma love every minute of seeing all of herfamily in one place.

I love photographing Mr. B! Here he is as a newborn (check it out here and here) and then at our spring minis here. We decided to include the whole family and get a great one of all of them, not hard to do….they looked amazing. It was a freezing day, but this little man kept it together so that we could get some great shots. I can’t wait to meet and photograph his little brother that will be arriving soon! Congrats!

I love this baby! Her picture from this fall is actually one of the images on the wall in my studio, her smile is contagious. She is so adorable!! Mom wanted some pics of her now that she is sitting up all on her own, so we decided to go super girly and have some fun! Kate had great shots with mom as well but there is something about adoring daddy, little girl shots that makes my heart melt.

Engagement sessions are so fun! Working with and getting to know the couple is imperative before the big day, it gives me a chance to see how they are together, what their relationship is like, how we vibe; more importantly, they get the chance to feel amazing, and confident in front of the camera so on the wedding day there is zero hesitation, just pure love coming through to the lens. These lovebirds were oozing warmth and kindness. They love music, and the outdoors; hiking, backpacking and adoring their new pup (I can’t get over how adorable his scarf is!) I have a feeling the Red Lodge wedding this summer by the creek is going to be gorgeous! I have to mention – I am completely jealous of her flowing mermaid hair! Isn’t it fabulous?!?

I LOVE this family – I feel like I say that pretty regularly, but clients end up becoming friends and this family is exceptional! I photographed their fabulous wedding (see it here) and we just recently did some maternity shots (seen here). They are gorgeous inside and out! This is such a lucky little boy to come to this family, they are so sweet and loving and this kiddos are their number one priority.
