Last year when I was making a comparative reading between two translations of Sense and Sensibility - Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese of Portugal. I discovered many words, which I needed to consult in the original English. One of them was huswife. In Brazil, we don&#39;t have a unique word to describe huswife, and it is translated approximately as needles case.

The Boston Public Library’s collection includes rare fashion plates that represent 125 years of high fashion. An online exhibition begins in 1795 with dresses inspired by classical Greece and Rome. Who has ever seen a lovelier Pip than Douglas Booth, who stars in PBS&#39;s Great Expectations, starting tonight at 9 PM local time? My main problem with the series was that Pip is more beautiful than Estella, played by Vanessa Kirby. Her quieter features are eclipsed by Booth&#39;s more striking ones.
