On an episode of The Fashion Show on Bravo, the competing designers were tasked with designing "for real women" and make those real world women look good.  Ha HA! I exclaimed to the TV screen. Even fabulously famous designers CAN'T DO THAT!!

Ummmm, yeah.  Isn't massive debt (consumer and federal) the reason we're in this mess in the first place?

Here's a novel idea. How's about working to increase the INCOME of the middle class? Then, we can shop and spend without increasing our debt.

In small donations of $20, $50 maybe $100, Americans are showing their support for Barack Obama. More telling, I think, is that the campaign got donations from over 1/2 a million NEW donors --- people who haven't given to his campaign before.
