This is another late post.

Last year, during my training in the hospital, my batch was lucky enough to experience the celebration of the nursing week. On the last day of the said event, there was a pageant for staff nurses called "Mr. and Ms. Nursing." Of course, our group was very supportive on our candidates. We were there to cheer them. And I can say that we were the noisiest group among the crowd. Hahaha!

While our candidates were preparing for the pageant and us, preparing for the props, we had a lot of photo ops. As in a looottt!!! We used a vacant room while preparing so other people especially patients and their family won't see us and won't be disturbed. We were lucky that time because there was a vacant suite room. LOL... We even used the bed for photo op.

Pauso lang. Hahaha! Since I am small, I can fit into this small space.

See, we even made our own banners. The materials are made of recycled materials except the colored cartolinas and balloons.LOL The boxes are from Kabiven (TPN Brand) and the sticks are I think borrowed from the mops. Hahaha!!!

Before the pageant begun, Rodjun Cruz did a special number. I didn't know that he's handsome pala. Most girls really should and got "kilig" when they saw her.

Our representative in our ward. Our group were really supportive that everytime they were on the stage we were cheering on them. Too bad, they didn't make it but at least we were happy and proud for them.

If I'm not mistaken the lady in the middle was Janine Tugonon, and the girl on the right was Empress Schuck. They were the judges. I wasn't paying attention when they're names are being called and my friends too so I couldn't confirm if that's really her.

We were lucky to have a picture with Empress Schuck. She was a bit near to where we were seated that's why we were able to approach her.

This event was really fun even if both our candidates didn't win. But our escort made it to top five. So it wasn't bad at all. Having events like this in hospitals help nurses to take a little break from their busy duty days. Besides, all work is not good for every employee, right? Sometimes we need to relax and have some fun.

This photo was really taken early last year. Since June is the start of rainy season, I decided to post this outfit even if it's too late. Better than never. Hehe...

We were on our way to Clark, Pampanga that time and we decided to stop over to refill gas from Lakeshore. Before leaving the gas station, we decided to explore the place and we saw this nice man made lake which is perfect for photo op. Hahaha! I wore slippers because they're comfy and my feet were relaxed.

I was wearing slippers while we were on our way to our destination but I changed it to boots when the evening came. I think boots are perfect for rainy and cold days. I really love boots. Too bad we don't have winter here in the Philippines. But when cold weather comes, I really do wear boots. They're very comfy and fashionable.

Top - Bazaar

Jeggings - Bazzar

Slippers - Birkenstock

Boots - Payless

On April 7, 2013, our little angel was born. Everyone was really excited to see her especially my brother (yep! she's our brother's first baby =)). She's just a day old on that picture and I really wanted to kiss and cuddle her but the hospital didn't allow visitors to carry her except the mother. So what I did is to just stare at her while she was asleep.

We had only a minimal amount of time to prepare for the seminar to be organized by our group. Since I didn't have the time to buy clothes for our attire, I just tried to find some nice clothes to wear in my closet. Luckily, I found a nice skirt that has been hanging in my closet for almost a year now. I was thankful that I could wear it. You know, sometimes I become an impulsive buyer so that's the reason why I bought this skirt. LOL

My outfit was semi-formal. I opted to wear skirt rather than wear slacks since it is too common and it was a good decision because I was the only one who wore a skirt.

After the seminar, I changed my skirt to jeans so I could move comfortably around the hospital. It's a bit difficult to move around wearing a skirt especially when you're carrying a lot of stuff and you were always in a hurry, right?

By the way, I borrowed the bouquet of flowers from our speaker for photo op. Hahaha!!!

Blouse - Bazaar

Skirt - Bazaar

Jeans - Herbench

We were really glad that we almost had a celebration when we finished the seminar. It was a blast. It went well though there were some minor flaws but it happens unexpectedly. At least we can now breathe freely without the feeling of butterflies in our stomach...

I really love my long hair but you know sometimes I have to learn how to let go of my treasured "crowning glory" just to make me feel good and stronger... and to start anew.

I used to have a long hair with a straight across bangs. This is my all time favorite hairdo. I just love my bangs.

Then I got tired of maintaining my bangs so I had it side swept.

But unexpectedly, crazy things happen in our life, right? So sometimes we had to do some crazy things just to make ourselves feel good just in a while so I decided to experiment with my hair. I think it's what most women do when they wanted to move on.

I decided to have a Katie Holmes inspired hairdo. At that time, I didn't know why I wanted to cut my hair short. I just wanted to do it. I felt like it would help me feel better and would help in my moving on process.

But it turned out to be Dora the Explorer. My co-trainings noticed it so most them called me Dora the Exploiter. Hahaha!!! But I loved my hairdo.

Then I did some changes with my bangs.

But when I was feeling down. Feeling stressed and depressed. There's this driving force inside of me that was telling me to have a new hairdo again. Maybe it's part of my moving on process... to feel good and look good.

So I had my curls!!! Yes, this is my latest hairdo. And I really love it! Feeling Korean lang ang peg! Hahaha!!!

I know this feeling I have right now is just temporary and I will surely just laugh about the crazy stuff I've done including my blog post about ehem...

New hair...

New life...

New beginning... chos!!!

How about you what crazy things did you do when you were moving on?

I'm such a hoarder, I bought 5 books in a day. Am really excited to read them all.

I used to love reading books and for no reason (maybe it's because of my busy sked - not really sure), I didn't notice that I stopped doing this favorite hobby of mine. And now I realized that I should bring back my old habit. Reading books help a lot especially when in comes to knowledge and great ideas.

2012 wasn't really a great year for me. I've been through a lot of downs so I wanted to read inspirational books again to boost my self-esteem and confidence. I wanted to get up and be on track again... and erase those negative vibes in my life.

Whoever had hurt me big time, I should forgive and forget them and start anew. I love this quote a lot. It's very short but meaningful. So instead of emoting, crying and thinking about how they've hurt me, I should work hard to be the best I can be. That way, it will help myself become the woman I don't expect I will be.

Reading is indeed a priceless wealth... =)

During my training in the hospital, I had a crush on one of the nurses. I find him cute and nice. He is approachable when you have a question or when you don't have an idea about the doctor's order. I find him as one of the few men who is boyfriend material. Almost everyone in the hospital likes him. He was even one of the contestants of the Mr. and Ms. Nursing pageant and was one of the top 5. Okay, enough of my appreciation. I'm just happy that I was able to get a remembrance from him before our training ended. I had a solo picture. with him. Hahaha!!!

This was a stolen shot. Obviously, I was all smiles while he was giving an instruction. Who wouldn't be that happy if you're working with you crush, ayt?

As I've said earlier, he is very approachable and he has willingly gave me time to take a solo picture

with him with his hand on my shoulder. I was so happy that day.

See, I wasn't the only one who has a crush on him. LOL... I was the only one who has the courage to take a solo picture with him. I know there's nothing wrong with that so I don't get shy about it. Just a little... hahaha!!!

Almost every one likes him not just because of his pretty face but because of his good attitude towards others. As they say, when you are good inside, everything follows. =)

During my first few weeks in the hospital, I already met new people who would add some spice in my 4 month training. I didn't expect that I would meet more people in this place that would help me during my moving on/healing period. I didn't expect that my stay at NKTI would be fun and memorable eventhough we're toxic almost everyday.

Why does he had to do this to me when he already knew he will hurt me in the end? Did I hurt him, too? Or he just doesn't love me? Or he is just insensitive? Not all students have luck in taking their GMAT. Some are not fortunate enough to get a good score. Sometimes even if they study hard, they still don’t get their desired score while others have specific weakness that they have to focus on.

A gmat tutor can teach and guide them on proper techniques on how to answer the questions properly. They can also help you in your weakness points. A one on one tutor is advisable so that the student can really concentrate on his review. This will be very helpful for the students for them to be able to achieve their dreams in getting qualified for their chosen career.

Getting a gmat tutor can help a student get a higher possibility in getting a passing score or better yet, a much higher score. The student will also be confident in answering the test questions. He will also learn a lot of things from the tutor like tips and advices on how to review properly and how to analyze the test questions.

I have been MIA for two months and until now, I still can't believe that my father is gone and he'll never come back to us. This is really a difficult situation for us but I have to be strong and go on with my life.

It was September 6 when I last saw and talked to my father. There was not even a sign that God would take him that same day. It was the saddest moment in my life. I didn't know that the "goodbye" I would tell him that time would be the very last.

It's sad to know that you'll never gonna walk me in the aisle when I get married but I'm happy that I got to have this picture with you when I was a Mad of Honor. I will miss you Papa, I hope you are happy with Creator now.

I can still remember during our
college days when we had our hard times researching and writing our thesis. It
was really difficult especially when I hate writing. It was really stressful
and nerve wracking. It would be really helpful to have the services of http://custom-writing.org/.

It was really a tiring day when we did our preparation for the nursing seminar. We, the trainees were required to organize a seminar. It was a bit hard to think for a gimmick to make our topic interesting and memorable. Our group was the first to present and we were really pressured if we would be able to deliver it in a memorable way.

Our topic was about Palliative Care. So we had to think a theme that would match our topic. Decorating was a bit tiring especially when there were lots of suggestions and we didn't whom to follow. LOL

Busy in preparing the decorations...

Balloons as part of our decorations...

In spite of our cramming, we still managed to smile...

My group camwhoring for the camera. This was the start of my group's bonding...

We were thankful that we were able to finish decorating and rehearsing for tomorrow's presentation. We had to extend our time in order to accomplish what we had to accomplish that day.

Today was a toxic day for me, I was
so busy that I didn’t have the time to take a break nor even take a seat for a
long period of time. What made it even more toxic was when I was conversing to
a patient who was a foreigner. Then I
realized that it’s not just knowledge about nursing is what I need. I also need
to learn how to communicate in English.

This is important for us nurses to
deliver our instructions or health teachings properly. I guess some of us need English tutoring to become effective in rendering care to foreign patients. We always encounter foreign patients and it would be hard for them if the healthcare provider and patients will have a language barrier.

It's my first day of training for my Clinical Nursing Practice. See, I'm really doing my best to put things back in shape... I mean I'm trying my best to rearrange my life eventhough at times I still feel depressed and stressed with all the things that happened. Sure, I'm trying my best to be happy.

On my first day, I met a lot of new people. Had chitchats with them... shared some thoughts... we laughed.... But when I got home, it's a reality check, I haven't moved on yet. I know it's not easy but I should be strong.

It's really difficult to cope up with LONELINESS, I ain't got nobody to comfort me. My sister is working abroad as well as my mom, my friends are busy with their lives, too. So I should keep myself super busy to forget about all the odds in my life...

I just opened my online business and I'm still trying to get familiar with the process of uploading products, communicating with prospect buyers and shipping the products. I'm not yet used to allocating my time between my online job and online store. Taking pictures of the products are really time consuming and my online job is time consuming as well. I tell you, I have sleepless nights juggling my work, business, and other activities.

Anyway, I'm planning to add more items on my site so people would have a lot of options but the problem is the budget. I need a big amount of cash so I can add more items. Good thing that loans are already available online as well like the kabbage online loan that's good for people like me who has just started or want to expand their business. It's easier and more convenient especially for those people with hectic schedule.

It’s really a big hassle when your eyes have a very high grade, you can’t do your activities properly without the aid of an eyeglasses or contact lens. So other people opted to undergo Lasik surgery to bring back their 20/20 vision. Sometimes, it’s a waste of time when you have to wear contact lenses before going to work; you have to clean the lens thoroughly before wearing them. Then, before you go to sleep you have to remove them and clean them again. Well, maybe for some people, they are already used to that kind of routine but for some, it's not.

In the US, Marc Werner, MD is offering a 30% off Lasik for New York City area fire fighters, law enforcement, teachers, and military personnel including their immediate family members. Lasik has been proven so safe and effective that it has been approved by NASA for use on US astronauts, pilots, and mission payload specialists who face extreme, physically demanding conditions.

It's been weeks since I last wrote on my blog. I've been in a daze about the things that's happening in my life lately. It was shocking, crazy and stupid; and I can't even think properly on how to start blogging again. Oh, it's crazy when you let your emotions get over you... it's really crazy stupid... Now I was left hanging with literally CLUTTERED THOUGHTS. I miss reading your blogs, I miss my readers (if there's any). hahaha!!!

Anyways, I hope I can start with my blogging/self/life normally again. Hopefully I can write more interesting entries this time. One good thing about being so down is that you learn how to be stronger and... be closer to yourself. (enough of the dramas)

I've got a lot of goals that I want to accomplish. I want to try solo backpacking, scuba diving, bungee jumping, rappelling, zip lining, anything adventurous, I want to get out of my shell, get a regular job or business maybe (that I'm not decided yet... hahaha!) Oh, I also want to remain single for a couple of years. I wanna get closer with myself. I guess I've already forgotten who I am that's why I had hard times on making my own decisions. But I'm not closing my door. Boys, you can still send me your applications and other documents for manpower pooling. Hahaha!!! Of course, I'm just kidding!

I hope before the year ends, I would be able to decide to whether I should be a nurse or a businesswoman. You know, they can't be together so I should really choose only one but I both love them. Hayzzz... Whatever happens, whatever decision I make, I hope there would still be HAPPINESS...

Miss you guys ^_^

P.S.: I don't know if it's a right decision to share my blog with my family and friends this time. It's just that I'm so hiya with the things I write here. Hahaha!!!

I've never been to any part of Bicol Region so it's really a pleasure for me to visit this place. A friend invited me to visit his place in Naga. Since I love to travel, I said yes. I wanted to see what Naga has to offer. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.

Kinalas and "Puto"

On my first day, we went to Bigg's Diner and ate breakfast there. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a picture of the foods we ate. We had a lunch in a Carinderia (local eatery which sells and serves different home cooked meals) for me to taste their specialty "Kinalas," a popular noodle dish in Naga City. It was paired with "puto" and I don't know why. I just ate it and it's delicious. What I like about this dish is that you can put a spicy sauce in it.

Visited an old church.

I also visited Ateneo De Naga since my friend graduated there in High School.

My visit wouldn't be complete without visiting CWC (CamSur Watersports Complex). I finally experienced knee boarding.

Getting ready... Let's get it on!!!

It was hella' fun but scary at the same time.

I freaked out when I fell off the water. I got really tired swimming...

Finally, I was able to meet a fellow blogger last year and this was my first time to win a giveaway. At first I couldn't believe it that I won the giveaway since I've already joined a lot and I got no luck in winning.

I got these wonderful accessories and a cute pink accessory organizer. The organizer was really useful since I got a lot of accessories in my room ;)

Finally I've met Chay of My Kichay Kit. Meeting such a nice and friendly blogger was really fun. We've talked a lot of things that day especially about our profession. I really had fun having chit chats with a fellow blogger. =)

I so hate myself for not practicing how to wear contact lenses. It's been a month since Paul gave me a pair of colored contact lens but to no avail, it is just sitting there in my room waiting for me to notice her. LOL Seriously, I really want to wear it but I'm a little afraid since it involves my eyes. My sister told me that it's very easy to put it on. So this time around I'll really try it since Halloween is just around the corner and I want to wear a Halloween contact lenses by that time to scare the little ones in our village. Hahaha!!! Last June 9, we went to Antipolo for a swimming because we knew that there were lots of resorts there. We didn't plan, made a research nor did a list on which resort to go there. Hahaha!!!

Before going to Antipolo, we dropped by at Don Antonion in Commonwealth for a late lunch. We were craving for Korean food that time so we had our favorite Korean dish.

I just simply love Kimchi Jigae because I love spicy soup. Hahaha!!!

Off course, we wouldn't wanna miss the Samgyeopsal. This is very filling even without the rice. The pork belly was thinly sliced which made it easy to chew when wrapped by a lettuce.

Side dish, I dunno what they are called except the Kimchi.

Side dish again with the uncooked pork meat. Too bad I wasn't able to take a photo of the lettuce. LOL

I'm glad we were able to finish them all and our tummies were full without the feeling of bloatedness. I guess it's because we didn't have the rice. =) Now, we were ready to go to Antipolo!

We reached Antipolo at almost 6pm already, we saw a resort but it was already closed, they didn't have a night swimming. They mentioned a resort but we couldn't find it since we were not really familiar with the place. We tried searching for another resort but to no avail, we couldn't find one. We should've had made some research before going there because I believe there are lots of resort that can be found in this place it's just that we didn't exactly they were located.

To our dismay, we just went to Cloud 9 since I haven't visited that place yet and we thought there might be a pool there but we found out that the pool wasn't already that clean and maintained. So we just toured around the place.

I just had a photo in Cloud 9 to make our visit "sulit." By the way, I heard some geckos there, I was entertained by their sound. It was my second time to hear geckos, the first one was when we were in Eagle Point Resort but unfortunately, I haven't seen one.

We stayed there until sun set. The view was simply amazing. =)

Afterwards, we looked for a nice place to drink and eat a little.

We had a not so healthy "lechon kawali" and "balot" (which is not on the picture) while enjoying our beer. Then we went home a bit disappointed because I was really expecting that we'll go swimming. Now we already knew what to do the next time we visit a new place.

A Hobby That's Turned into Business
