Sudden Post

Oh my...Its been too long since I updated my blog. I just don't know why I got the feel to blog today. Had been piled up with my job this few months. Its a daily routine for me here. Work for 13 hours and the rest lazying and sleep in the room.

Things happen here and there. Feelings going up and down. Up for being proud to myself, able to work well in such a pressured working environment. Down for not being able to handle certain situations and outcomes well. Anyway...I will be strong.

Anyway, I attended a charity marathon program for Japan last week, organized by the place I'm working in currently. It is always exciting to participate in an oversea event as we do not always have the chance to do that. The marathon fun walk that I participated in was 3km category, afraid that I would end up in an ambulance if I participate in the 11.4km category. =)

Sushi In Brunei

Finally I blog...yeahh...its like...FINALLY!!! after so long.... I'm currently in Brunei working on my project. Basically, my life here is very routine. Sounds bored...indeed...very bored. But there's one thing that I love and I have to love. Its the sushi here. Most of the weekends, we'll go to the Excapade Sushi in the Gadong town. Besides eating sushi, I really got no idea what else fun to do, unless we wanna watch movie in the cinema.

Yeaa....its the big boat of sushi that we ordered. This boat of sushi cost B$100.00 (RM230++) shared by at least 10 person. The sushi here is BIG....as in the size and the salmon is much more thicker and bigger than we have in KL sushis outlet.

And this cost B$50 shareable by at least 5 person. Feels like heaven eating the sushis there with their wasabi and ginger. =)

A Night to Remember

It's my first job in my career and I felt lucky to attend my company annual dinner this year. It was such a grand one and was being held at One World Hotel's Ballroom exactly one week ago. Colleagues said this is the first time that our company dinner is so grand.

The event started at 7pm with the arrival of the CEO and Tan Sri Ong Ka Ting. Everyone dressed nicely and there's theme for that night. The theme is Silver. Some silverlized themselves with silver accessories, shoes, or dresses. Well, everyone looks gorgeous on that night. =)

The food tasted great and we're happy to served with free flow beer and red wine. With this two, we could "yam seng" all night long~

There's also lucky draw but I was not lucky enough to receive any prizes. Among the lucky draw prizes on that night are ipod, ipads, Philips plasma LCD/LED TV 32 and 40 inches, Mercedez Golf Bag, microwave oven etc.

The dinner ended at around 10.30pm but sadly, there's no second round or partie cause the next day is Monday (Valentine's Day) and we need to get back to work!

The Making of CNY 2011

It's the eve today! Everyone's busy preparing for reunion dinner, do their final cleaning and decorating their lovely house. And me....busy blogging here. =D

I did prepared for CNY too okayy..last week I had McD Chicken Prosperity Burger at 1u as a meant of getting the pre-cny feel in KL. Felt so GOOOOD after eating that yummylicious burger with few of my colleagues.

I'm finally back in Taiping on Saturday. And here's what I did in the making of CNY. I helped mum making this green bean cookies. It tastes great and need some effort to shape it a bit.

Then, I also made Chicken Floss Roll which is one of my favourite snacks during CNY. Now I know why they're selling so expensive out there. It's really tiring to make this. We took like so long to make 1 box FULL. Phew~~

So, there's roughly what I did for CNY. For decorations part, it's under my dad's control. I can see those deco lights and lanterns and pineapple hanging at the porch already. =)

Cake of the month

Last Friday, me and 2 others went to SS15 Subang. Our main objective is to have Snowflakes dessert. Friend recommended to me this cake in RT Pastry House. It's just located next to Cake Sense. I was surprised to see people queuing up for the cakes and breads.

I bought this slice of cake called Opera Cake. Woot...reminds me of Opera Club. It cost RM 5/slice.

It taste goooood and I want moreeee of it! Its like mocha taste with smooth cream~ Yummy~

Besides that, I bought Chicken Floss Swiss Roll too. RM8.90/roll...

Thanks to Eileen who recommended RT Pastry~ And hope she likes Snowflakes too~ I ordered Japan Combo at Snowflakes. Desserts make me happy always~ =)

Alize Vodka

CNY is coming soon. It's beer and liqueur time!! =D

Thought of getting Absolut Vodka from the airport. Friends recommended few flavours for me. But, this attractive color and bottle of vodka caught my eyes. It's Alize~ Imported from France~

Alize

Absolut Vodka contains 40% alcohol. I don't think 40% alcohol is suitable to be consumed by my family. Alize contains only 20% alcohol. Not too much. Blended with natural passion fruit, French vodka, cognac, litchis, strawberries and rose essence~ Owhh...must be sweet~ ♥

A bottle of Alize is RM96.00 in LCCT Duty Free Shop. FYI, only left two bottles on the shelf when I bought this. Hmm...must be nice, hopefully.

Cadbury Bubbly with Mint ($1.10)

The Celebration Mixed and Ritter Sport Mini is rather common but the price is slightly cheaper here. The Celebration Mixed Choc gonna be kept for CNY later on. I found the Pods with Snickers and Cadbury's Bubbly kinda special and looks nice too. Hope it is... =) The Pods is available with 2 other choices, Mars and Twix. The Cadbury's Bubbly looks good...available in few other different fillings. You can hardly see Bubbly or can't even find it in Malaysia cause it is not Malaysia's Cadbury who produce it. =P

Chocolate Craze - Day 1

Been hunting for chocolates this two days. Thought of buying some special and nice chocolates back to Malaysia for my friends, colleagues and family. Started buying some today from the First Emporium Supermarket. Not much choices there compared to another supermarket near my working place.

I'm gonna get more tomorrow from the complex near office. Can't wait. =D It will be last minute shopping coz I'm flying back to KL on Wednesday! Not too sure when will be the next trip to Brunei again. Hopefully not that soon~ By the way, I'm gonna check out the perfume prices there too. Hopefully it's cheaper here. =)

Dare to change

Dare to change, Dare to love. The biggest changes that I made this month was changing my hair color. Was not used to it at first. But now, I'm loving my hair already. I really can't believe that I actually colored my hair, which I think it is so not me to do that. Few of my friends said it was not my style. Few of them thought it was cool and suits me. This changes actually built up my confidence in trying something new, which is a good thing I guess. Now, I'm loving my hair already.

2010 is coming to an end and the new year is going to begin. Changes that lead to improvement should take place to have a better year.

Recently, I came across few irritating people in my life, which makes me think do they think they're so perfect with what they are and what they have now? Wake up you people. Never ever say or do something "proudly" that will hurt other people's feeling if you don't even dare to admit it. And even if you do admit what you said, whats with the spreading of news to another party? Immature act I shall say.

Another thing, looking down on people physically and mentally is way too wrong. Each human have the right to be beautiful. What I mean to beautiful is from the inside and outside. Don't they see the value of themselves? Well...I guess no.

I don't have patience on people who don't think twice before saying something. I can't help it but to be protective to myself.

Creamy Dessert - Dairy Queen

I seriously miss the feeling of having McD's sundae cone after lunch in 1u with colleagues. Kinda sad that there's no McD nearby office here. So...no McD sundae cone in Brunei. But, there's still this Dairy Queen, which sells ice creams, ice blended and some light snacks. My colleague actually recommended me to try it. Seriously, I don't see this in KL. Is there any in Malaysia? hmm...

I ordered a small Almond Mocha Blizzard, which cost me BND3.50. The creamy ice cream was mixed with grounded almond, mocha syrup, and chunks of crispy biscuit. Quite a number of flavours are available. I'm gonna try Green Tea if there's next round of DQ. =)

It actually says that "Served upside down or it's free".

Well...the DQ girl really served it upside down! Interesting huh.. The creamy ice cream won't drop of course! Cause it's still cold.

The Bottle

Thank god I still can drink in Brunei! Thanks to colleagues who bought alcohol from the airport to here. Occasionally, they would invite me and few others to their room and have a drink. Their room is always decorated with bottles of Black Label, Chivas and Coke. The other day, I saw this empty, cute little bottle of Chivas Regal 18 Years. I took it from them. =)

By the way... I drank Black Label most of the time.

Tango Cherry

I went to one of the supermarket near to the Abdul Razak Apartment (the place that I'm currently staying) the other day. You know...It's kinda boring and lonely here especially during weekend. So I plan to get some snacks to eat in order to make myself happy. I saw this attractive design can of Tango Cherry carbonated drink at the shelf. This is special! I didn't see this product in KL before. Any of you see this before? Hm...anyway...I bought it at $0.55 only. Oh by the way, this drink is a product of London, England.

Beware of the bite!! Ouchhh....sounds sharp huh~ Hmm.. It's a lil bit sharp on my tongue. Well...It doesn't taste too sweet. And I like the cherri-ness taste~ =)

Best Indonesian cuisine in Town

Pondok Sari Wangi...Yepp...that's the name of the restaurant and it is the best Indonesian food in town. Am currently in Brunei...and so far there's no pure Brunei cuisine restaurant being seen here. What I see so far is Thai restaurant, Japanese restaurant and this Indonesian restaurant. Today, me and my colleagues had dinner in this Indonesian restaurant. Ordered 7 dishes for 12 person. The food taste good especially the curry fish and sambal kangkung! Total cost of the dinner was BND 87.00 ++.

By the way, I had been to the Japanese restaurant before too but didn't have the chance to snap the sushis pictures. The sushis here are much bigger piece than those in Malaysia. And even the salmon are FRESH!! Hope I'll get the chance to go again next month. =)

- Fossil 2010 -

I got this from Fossil 1U. I like white color watch. Previously, I bought 2 white watches which are quite cheap with no warranty and all that. Just because it looks nice. But, I don't think no point for me buying a not so expensive watch but with not so good quality. So I decided to look around for watches with warranty and repair services provided. I found one at first... fcuk brand but it was too big for my hand. The DKNY watch, which is under Fossil also, with 25% discount off at Parkson 1U but was sold off after returning there to check it out again. So, I got to go for Fossil. I love it...a multi-function watch with diamonds around it. And 2 years of warranty.

Choosing the colors of the middle round face was time consuming. There are few colors available: orange, blue, purple, black and white. Purple and white was my main options. Finally I go with white as 2 of the promoters felt that white is nicer as well. So...how's it? =)

First Time

On 13th August 2010, I will need to go and make a new IC by myself. Reason is because my IC is a lil bit distorted already. Then, on the same day itself, I will make a new passport, because I'm flying off to Brunei soon for work and stay there for 25 days. For the first time, I'm gonna travel by plane and go oversea. Kinda excited and hope everything goes smoothly.

Then, I will need to buy a big luggage for my stuffs to bring over there.

And...for the first time...I worked overtime (OT) for 6 days continuously, including Saturday and Sunday. Didn't expect my beginning of working life will be this hectic. But I think I am able to cope with it. =)

Its been such a long time since I updated my blog. Didn't meant to abandon it just like that. Its because of the limited time I had recently. However, there were many things that happened for the past few weeks. Increased workload in my job had make me more stress and worry. Uncertainty of answers that I'm searching for and my poor budget management made my brain so active at night...especially after work. My brain is so active...I'm saying that because I can spend the whole night to think of those stupid matter till I fall asleep.

The worst thing is I never go for workout at Celebrity Fitness for 1 month already. That sucks! I should continue my workout next week to clear off my mind with so many unnecessary thoughts so that I am able to concentrate better in my "used to be normal life" and job, especially when I'll be in Brunei for 2 weeks soon.

Today, I listened to one of Jacky Cheung's song, entitled "Touch of Love". By looking at the title, I expect it to be a lovey dovey song. But its not. The lyrics are quite meaningful and made me realized the meaning of love.

I don't wanna go shogun anymore. 9 of us went there...and 5 of us got food poisoning! I don't care whether is the oyster or watermelon juice or whatever....I will try my best not to step in there! Unless its FOC. :D

We paid RM60 for the buffet lunch! That was not worth it at all! Today, I lodged a complain to them and they said THANK YOU and not SORRY. And gave me a smiley face as if they're so happy to receive this kind of complain. What the hell! He don't understand what I'm saying? =.=""

Campbell University Convocation - 19 June 2010

It was my Campbell University Convocation day. I graduated with Magna cum Laude title..Its a Latin word, and it means "with great honor". =)

This time, I was not the first one who go up the stage anymore like in my Diploma Convocation 2 years ago. However, I was still nervous...coz my shoe was not comfortable and worried that I might trip over on the stage. And...I was not sure whether I did look at the cameraman or not when I'm holding the scroll...ahh..can't imagine how the photographs will look like. ~.~

Not much photos had been captured compare to Diploma Convocation as many frens were scattered around and could not gather everyone together. Anyway...there will be another convocation somewhere in November for my Advanced Diploma level. But I guess most of my friends will not attend already. I will consider of attending if I receive the book prize...LOLz!

Are you curious? :D Digi held an event with the theme/slogan "I AM CURIOUS" at Ground floor of KPMG/IBM Tower this few days. Not sure what is it about but it's interesting! They stick stickers on people who passes by, snap pictures, giving out vouchers, and today...they give out free snacks and bottles of bubble liquid like what we used to play when we were young!! The Digi guy was blowing bubbles in front of me and ask me to blow it and I jokingly said, "Give me the whole bottle lar" and he really gave it to me...oh...and a cup of the "nyam nyam" keropok. =.=""

So I took it away...the bubble is still with me. Don't know where to play it.

Oh yea...the Digi photographer guy is so damn cute!! OMG!!! In my opinion...maxis should also have such event and have more cute guys n gals to attract people. If not...I'm gonna change my line to Digi already larr..:D

I'm addicted to McDonald's Sundae Cone! Already had 2 cones since I start working in the beginning of the month and wanna have MORE!! >.<

By the way....there are 2 new flavors available...mudpies/berries for the McFlurry and Mango Peach for the sundae cup...Have not try them yet ...I think it will be SWEET. That's why it says...Hit your SWEET SPOT. Hm...Where's your Sweet Spot? :)

New Place and The Routine

I'm now currently staying in Kota Damansara and no longer in Setapak. I kinda like the room here but I'm lonely. Housemates don't talk and I don't have much friend here. Guess I need to cope with such MYOB life. The daily routine is definitely expected since I've experienced it during my internship here in PJ too. After getting more stable income, I should go register myself at one of the gym located around Kota Damansara to make my life more meaningful. Else, it'll be so dull... Or go for yoga or maybe dancing classes. :P

Owh...by the way, they're like me..living in the new room now. =)

Back to Childhood and then Back to Adulthood

Been busy for outings this few days and packing my properties in Setapak coz I need to shift to PJ for work. On Thursday, I went out at 10am as planned. Initially me n my friends thought that we can join in the opening ceremony for the TGV Cinema in Wangsa Walk Mall. But it only starts at 8.30pm. So, we go for Plan B, that is to play bowling there after having our brunch at Pizza Hut. That was the second time I played bowling. Ahh...the game was not consistent at all!

At around 4pm, we head to Titiwangsa Lake Garden for a walk. But it started to rain cats and dogs 30 minutes later. Since it's still early, we stop by at Jusco. Okay...here's what we did!

We actually went into the Arcade Center or Pusat Hiburan. My friend started to look at the machine where we need to put coins n twist it for the ball to drop. After looking at it for long time, he finally decided to get one (finally he got 4) since its half price!! I played too! That's what I got as you can see in the picture. Hehe!

The outing was definitely a memorable one and I wonder when will I have the chance to play crazily again. I'm gonna start working permanently soon...not soon...is very soon....3rd May is THE day!! Oh no~~~
