These days, computers transform into entertainment and information centers of our homes and offices. There is one major drawback of such miraculous integration, however - computers are still bound to traditional hierarchical interfaces which makes controlling various system actions rather a memory quiz than a comfortable living.
Each and every new piece of computer functionality involves using new software which in turn uses multiple menus, icons and buttons to access its features. It is fairly easy to control one application behavior but what if there are five or twenty of them? Aren't you missing your favorite remote controller? Wouldn't it be great to use one controller to manipulate all the functionality of your PC? Is it a dream that never comes true?
No! Softarium.com is here ready to offer its amazing Active Keys software that will turn your ordinary keyboard into full-blown remote controller for your entire system. That's right! No more miles of mouse moves and injured wrists, no more hassle and interface havocs! Just total control of your entire Windows system using any keyboard at hand!
Active Keys is a powerful yet easy-to-use tool for creating and managing keyboard shortcuts for any system action. Active Keys allows creation of custom keyboard hot keys definitions for otherwise hardly accessible functions. Among those are CD Audio and WinAmp actions, sound volume, windows resizing, opening Internet addresses, folders, documents, sending e-mails, starting applications and much more:
Just imagine being able to control Windows Media Player, screen resolution and color depth, start screen saver, insert current time and date or custom text with just one key press! Throw in the intuitive interface and small memory and system resources usage footprint and you will understand this title worth a try! So go ahead anddownload free now!

Features available in the current version:

Text commands:

Paste Predefined Text (paste any text with one keystroke)

Paste Current Date/Time (paste current date or/and time in adjustable appearence)

Multimedia commands:

CD Audio Control (Eject/Close CD Door/Play/Pause/Stop/Next/Previous)

Windows Media Player Control (Play/Pause/Stop/Skip Back/Skip Forward/Rewind/Fast Forward)

iTunes Player Control (Play/Pause/Skip Back/Skip Forward)

Sound Mute On/Off

Microphone Mute/Unmute

Line In Mute/Unmute

Sound Volume Control (raise/lower volume with adjustable speed) - SPDY (pronounced "speedy") is not meant to replace HTTP, the protocol that allows Web servers and browsers to talk to each other today, but it does augment HTTP. The new protocol incorporates features like multiplexed streams, request prioritization and HTTP header compression.

Google has already developed a prototype Web server and a version of Google Chrome with built-in SPDY support.

Google claims that pages loaded 64% faster in lab tests in which the research team downloaded the top 25 websites. Now that the SPDY team has developed workable prototypes, Google decided to open up the process and is soliciting the "active participation, feedback and assistance of the web community."
In today's announcement, Google stresses that SPDY is not a replacement for HTTP. It uses HTTP methods and headers, but it overrides the parts of the protocol that manage connections and data transfer formats.
Google will soon release its open-source SPDY-enabled Web server. The source code for the SPDY-enabled version of Chrome can be found here.

Creating a Faster and More Secure Web
According to the SPDY white paper, the project's goals are to reduce page load times by 50%, minimize deployment complexity and avoid the need for website owners to make any changes to their sites to implement SPDY. Instead, all the hard work will happen in the client and the Web server.
The team also wants SPDY to allow many concurrent HTTP requests to run across one TCP session and to make SSL the standard transport protocol.
Google clearly has an interest in making the Web experience as fast and secure as possible for its users. One of the reasons Google released its own browser was to get every other browser developer to focus on speed again. SPDY is even more ambitious. With SPDY, Google wants to change one of the most fundamental protocols on the Internet.
According to Google, these are the basic improvement of SPDY over HTTP:

Multiplexed requests. There is no limit to the number of requests that can be issued concurrently over a single SPDY connection. Because requests are interleaved on a single channel, the efficiency of TCP is much higher.

Prioritized requests. Clients can request certain resources to be delivered first. This avoids the problem of congesting the network channel with non-critical resources when a high-priority request is pending.

Compressed headers. Clients today send a significant amount of redundant data in the form of HTTP headers. Because a single Web page may require 50 or 100 subrequests, this data is significant. Compressing the headers saves a significant amount of latency and bandwidth compared to HTTP.

How to restore windows vista on lenovo Y410 laptop

Due to virus unable to logon on to system,
Needs to restore your windows vista to the manufacturing settings.

If you have not deleted the Recovery Partition then Turn of your computer and start your computer by "novo" key instead of power button.

which initiates OneKey recovery, and follow the on-screen dialogue. Now you can find out. Process Explorer shows you information about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded.

The Process Explorer display consists of two sub-windows. Select “Properties”.

Step 4: Append the following to the “Target:” text field without changing the existing text:

/secondary

Original Article: http://www.axelsegebrecht.com/how-to/run-multiple-instances-of-skype/

A web tool hailed as a significant rival to search giant Google has gone live to the public.

Wolfram Alpha is called a computation knowledge engine rather than a search engine and wants to change the way people use online data.

It aims to give people direct answers to queries rather than send them to other sites where they may find what they are seeking.

The system is the brainchild of British-born physicist Stephen Wolfram.

Wolfram Alpha was unveiled in late April and since then has been publicly demonstrated and some people have had a chance to run queries through it.

Typically the results it returns are annotated pages of data rather than a simple list of other sites that might help resolve a user's query.

For example, if asked about the weather in Manchester it would present a graph of average temperatures, rainfall and other salient data.

The computational horsepower behind the main site works out answers to question as they are put by grabbing data from databases and consulting feeds of relevant information.

Wolfram Alpha can be asked known facts, such as the height of mountains, or be asked to generate new information such as up to date figures for a nation's GDP.

It can also handle complicated mathematical queries, plot statistics and produce charts of natural events.

The data it consults is chosen and managed by staff at Wolfram Research who ensure it can be displayed by the system. Behind the scenes Wolfram Alpha has about 10,000 CPUs spread across five data centres that it draws on when generating answers.

During a demonstration at Harvard University's Berkman Center for Internet and Society, Dr Wolfram said: "Our goal is to make expert knowledge accessible to anyone, anywhere, anytime."

Dr Wolfram played down talk that the system would be a Google killer and instead presents it as a way for people to get more out of the information on the web.

The final tuning and testing of the system was webcast live during the weekend before the official launch.

Prior to the start of the webcast and final testing, Theo Grey, co-founder of Wolfram Research, said: "If we do melt down when we go live it will not be for lack of effort, or any sort of naive idea of how many queries we might get. It will be because of overwhelming response."

Reference: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8052798.stm

Dell Vostro A840 Windows XP Drivers Download

For Windows XP Audio - Modem Drivers - Dell Vostro A840 / A860.

Don't install the Drivers directly !

Follow the steps below.

1. I am Google Talk user myself. I can vaguely understand why I ultimately chose it over other IMs I would use; probably because most of my contacts have only one thing in common: Gtalk.
So today I am sharing a few best tips on how to make the most of your Gtalk:

Translate using Google Talk (the feature runs on Google Translate). Just add any of the bots below (there may be many more) and send them messages of the text you want to translate):

Bot

Translation

ar2en@bot.talk.google.com

from Arabic into English

de2en@bot.talk.google.com

from German into English

fr2en@bot.talk.google.com

from French into English

el2en@bot.talk.google.com

from Greek into English

es2es@bot.talk.google.com

from Spanish into English

ja2en@bot.talk.google.com

from Japanese into English

ko2en@bot.talk.google.com

from Korean into English

en2nl@bot.talk.google.com

from Dutch into English

ru2en@bot.talk.google.com

from Russian into English

zh2en@bot.talk.google.com

from Chinese into English

Gtalk as a free and easy website live chat client:

You can place Gtalk button on your site and let your site visitors contact you using it. Create your Google Talk badge here;

Other IM Clients which works for Gtalk.

pidgin

Gajim

Gaim

eBuddy

Koppete

Digsby           -       The best !

And lot more read more

Featured Google Talk client: Digsby

DigsBy is by far my favorite third-party Google talk application not because it offers some extra-ordinary Gmail possibilities (well, it does have some cool GTalk enhancements) but because it integrates all my major IMs and social media networks in one handy tool. The platform it supports include:

IMs: GTalk, AIM, Yahoo! Messenger, Facebook chat;

Email notifications: Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL mail;

Social networks: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace.

Some cool features I am personally using:

For each social network add as many accounts as you want;

Sort Gtalk (and other) contacts into groups (!);

Set tracking for any GTalk buddy: e.g. get notified when some person signs in or changes the status message;

See all the contact info when hovering over;

Sort contacts by name, status,

Reply right from the pop-up;

Manage multiple conversations with tabbed conversation windows;

Set your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn status right from Digsby;

Synchronize your settings and accounts between computers.

Download Digsby:

download for MAC

download for Windows

coming soon for Linux - Subscribe for newsletter

Chat Windows - Appearance

<img style="cursor: pointer;
