She’s back. The Pricess of Pop and X-Factor’s newest Sinom Cowell has officially re-entered the music world, not that she could ever really leave. Last Wednesday on a special airing of the x-Factor, Will.I.Am.’s new music video, featuring Ms. Spear, “Scream and Shout”. The video is has a familiar Black Eyed Peas futuristic look and definetly shows off Britney’s more than impressive curves. The single is off Will.I.Am.’s forthcoming album Willpower which is set to be released next year. Besides Brtney, other A-list collaborators will include Mick Jagger, Jennifer Lopez, and Justin Bieber.

 

25-year-old Solange Knowles released her new track “Lovers in the Park” to prelude her EP True which drops tomorrow. Like her previous single “Loosing You”, this song is a nice mix of hip-hop, jazz, and electronica. As for the overall theme of the song, after looking at the tracklist it’s easy to conclude that heartbreak may have been the inspiration.

Speaking of heartbreak, fresh off her breakup from EDM DJ Skrillex, Ellie Goulding released the music video to “Figure 8″. In the video Goulding channels her inner lady in red and attempts to recapture the heart of her lover to no avail. Don’t worry Ellie, we’ll always love you.

Apparently when Britney Spears was not screaming and shouting on The X Factor, she was doing so in the studio with none other than Will.I.Am. The music video for their single “Scream and Shout” will premire on this Wednesday’s episode of The X Factor so be sure see it. Although Hurricane Sandy hit some weeks ago, those areas hit are still feeling its devastating effects. Occupy Sandy, a New York based volunteer group, has been heavily invested in relief efforts in the New York area (Rockaway, Staten Island, etc). They’ve set up an Amazon wedding registry for supplies for those affected and are accepting donations through Paypal as well. This Saturday they’re hosting an Occupy Sandy Benefit Concert and some of the lineup includes Vampire Weekend, Real Estate, and Davendra Banhart. Tickets can be purchased here.

It’s the perfect day, your wedding day, and you want to make sure every special moment is recorded. The bride walking down the aisle, the couples first dance, and the cutting of the cake have all been perfectly capture..on canvas that is. Some couple are now opting to have a live painter at the wedding in addition to or instead of a photographer. Other hirer a painter to birthdays bar mitzvahs, special dinners, and anything one would want a visual record of. There are some advantages to having a painting done instead of a photograph; for example, if the cake’s icing is the wrong color, someone spills on their clothing, or if a decoration is out of place these can all be fixed by the painters. Moreover they can take artistic liberties to change people’s facial expressions and add or remove guest from their picture, really whatever the one paying the painter wants. EVen if it’s not the most truthful depiction of how the even occurred, its painted how people would like to remember it. A painted draws the viewer back to an exact moment and its associated feelings, so instead of lamenting over an unflattering picture, celebrate over the perfect painting.

 
Marilyn knew it, Kanye knew it, and now Rihanna knows it; diamonds lead to music success. The “Diamonds” music video came out late last week and we could not be more intrigued. With her album release date only a week away, Rihanna’s music video set the tone for Unapologetic. Anthony Mandler directed a series of beautiful dreamy images with no tangible story line. Not that that matters much, the emotion the two were trying to get across is pretty clear.

The buzz building around ZZ Ward for the past few months recently skyrocketed with the release of her debut studio album, Til the Casket Drops. Since the released of her mixtape Eleven Roses and EP Criminal, Ward has sold out several shows of her national tour and even had time to pop in with Jay Leno on the Tonight Show. Her raspy smokey voice has been called one of the year’s “most striking voices” and gives a refreshing hint of the blues. Check out the video for her single “Put the Gun Down” and prepared yourself because ZZ Ward has indeed arrived.

It’s official, 24-year-old crooner Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki are the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy! Having made the announcement that she was expecting this past June, several weeks into her pregnancy, Adele is still not very forthcoming with the details of the child’s exact birthdate or even his name. It may be some time before Adele releases a followup to 21 or her new single “Skyfall” but the fans are understanding. Congratulations Konecki family!

Another pair of new parents also got some big news recently. By next year Blue Ivy Carter will be but a year old, and she’ll get to watch her mother perform on one of the biggest and most legendary stages of our time. Last week, Beyonce released the news that she’ll be performing at the Superbowl XLVII half-time show in New Orleans next February. Last year Madonna brought down the house with 117 million viewer, making it the most watched half-time show of all time. There’s no doubt that Queen B will make it a show to remember so the toughest question is, what will she wear and better yet, which of her hits (solo or with Destiny’s Child) will she sing? After all, we know that Bey has several number 1′s to choose from.

Last year we found love in a hopeless place and this year we’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky. After the release of “Diamonds” in September, Miss Riri has finally announced her seventh studio album. Last week she leaked the photo via twitter and a month from today Unapologetic official;y drops.

Last week we brought you the hottest new singles and this week we’re serving some hot new music videos for your taste. We’ll start the first course with America’s Canadian Golden Boy, Justin Bieber. After the release of Believe we knew that there were bound to be some amazing footage to go along with the album and Justin is yet to disappoint. The video for “Beauty and the Beat” features Nicki Minaj, talented dancers, and oddly enough synchronized swimmers. The entire video appears to be shot with a handheld camera by the point man himself, and it certainly makes you wish that you could hang with Bieber and the crew because clearly they know how to have a good time.

Coincidentally, the Biebster’s mentor, Usher, also released the new video to “Numb” last week. The beginning of the video is a shot of a concert last year in Berlin when he had to cut a set short due to illness. The rest of the video pulls at your heart strings with the juxtaposition of Raymond’s obvious dance talent, shots of what seems to be his sons, and an unknown woman and dying man in a hospital bed. Usher has had his fair share of tragedy so it that what’s making him so numb?

If you thought the release of an album a couple weeks ago could slow down Kanye West then you forgot one minor detail; he’s Kanye West. This G.O.O.D. Music badboy is relentless, and it’s one of the reasons we love him. In a collaborative effort alongside of RZA, Tapez and Boogz, Kanye’s new single “White Dress” will be featured in the movie The Man with the Iron Fists, which was also directed by RZA and is set to release November 2. Hmm, can you guess who Yeezy is referring to in this song…

This Thursday, JE will have to honor of working with Wish Upon A Wedding organization at their New York Chapter launch party! Wish Upon a Wedding a 501(c)(3) organization, is the first non-profit to provide weddings and vow renewals to couples facing terminal illness and other serious life-altering circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. Founded in 2010, Wish Upon a Wedding enriches lives by granting wedding wishes to terminally ill couples at locations throughout the United States. The organization has 23 chapters and has granted over 47 wishes. By giving the gift of a dream wedding, we are able to grant some of the most intimate and heartfelt wishes of these people’s lives, and help them share this important day with close family members. Our organization was created to celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of these couples by granting their dream wedding wishes. Our hope is that chosen recipients can inspire others couples facing similar situations to find hope and strength.
