Glad you found the plugin useful.

Overriding the default styles should be pretty easy (in your case you'd edit "/themes/nightfallserenade/style.css", if you edit the sheet that comes with ProgPress it'll be lost every time an upgrade comes out).

Because your theme loads it's styles before the plugin does, you just have to be a bit more specific. So if you want to override the meter color you'd add:

body div.jcp_pp_meter div { background-color: #00008B; }

to change the font you can add (for example)

body div.jcp_pp { font-family: Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; color: #f00; }

Jon Udell on the wonders of the marginalia in the Olson Database. It's not just the single best source of historical timezone information, it's also filled with documentation about when things changed, why, and the history behind these decisions wherever possible. While most people probably don't even thing about this stuff I've long appreciated this data, as I've had to deal with systems that do NOT have this level of historical accuracy (I'm looking at you, Microsoft, with your pathetic "Use the registry, Luke" fake timezone database).

That's all this plugin does. If you call wp_enqueue_script('jquery'); in you theme or plugin then it should pull it from the Google Libraries CDN instead of from your local version once the plugin is activated.

I’m way past time for another progress update. Things have been, well, erratic. Between long days at work, sick children, and being sick for a while myself I’ve done my best to keep things moving. I’m happy to see that I’m about three quarters of the way to the end.¹ But the past few days I’ve built up a decent momentum. Now I need to just hold on to it.
