Mostly clouds and some scenic pics.

2013-08-24T18:26:00.000-04:00

These two are pictures are from a steep hill in my neighborhood that I was walking down this morning.

The moon was still visible this morning so thought I'd take a picture of it.

And some clouds, they were so pretty I just had to shoot them.

Books you might enjoy.

Sunset

2013-08-23T18:33:00.000-04:00

This is one of the sunsets I had the pleasure of viewing from my front porch. Thought I'd share hope you enjoy.

Churches on the South Side.

2013-08-17T20:33:00.001-04:00

I wish there weren't so many wires in the way.

If I had photo shop or some other type of photo program I would remove them.

As you can probably see I have taken different views of some of the churches because of the size.

The Church on the hill.

You may have to zoom in to see it.

On some of the churches I did my best to take close-ups of parts that I thought were interesting and thought should be shared.

If you zoom in on the next few, you'll be better able to see the statues.

Another church on a hill.

Maybe one day I'll get closer to the 2 churches on the hill for more photos of them.

More Churches for those who like them

2013-08-09T22:03:00.001-04:00

These are in Mt. Lebanon, PA.

I love the colorful tiles on this church.

You may have to click on the pics to see the roof tiles.

The church with a purple door.

Thought that was quite interesting.

Why a purple door?

Front of the same church.

It has a red door in front.

Imagine that!

This was difficult to capture as on the somewhat main street the building was very long, I took several photos of it.

Views of the city from Mt. Washington.

2013-08-03T21:04:00.000-04:00

Decided to take a trip up to Mt. Washington since I haven't been there for awhile and get some shots of the city of Pittsburgh and surrounding areas. I rode the incline round trip. When I get a chance I'll take a ride on the other incline further up the hill and get some pictures from that angle.

Enjoy.

We were passing the other car here. If you look closely you can see someone waving.

My Garden, area I wanted done is finally finished.

2013-06-11T18:27:00.001-04:00

The area I wanted done is finally finished. There are a few more before pictures and then the finished product. Now it's just of a matter of maintaining and watching it grow.

Enjoy the pics.

As you may or may not noticed I did some re-arranging of the rocks.

Looks a bit better I think.

The garden is finished, however I still need to clean up a bit.

With the rain we had the past few days, the plants have really taken off.

I guess they really liked the rain.

When the plants grow a bit larger I'll post a few more pics.

My Garden.

2013-05-29T19:16:00.002-04:00

Haven't posted anything here for awhile. So I've decided to post a few pictures of my garden in progress. The following are before and during pictures. I'm still working on it. It's coming along nicely, however it is taking time to get done. Hope to have it finished soon.

Still a lot of work to be done, however I am making progress. Can't wait till it's finished.

Point State Park

2012-08-26T09:23:00.001-04:00

Point State Park is the largest park in downtown Pittsburgh. There is a huge fountain at the tip of it where the 3 rivers meet. I wasn't able to get a picture of the fountain, (which is the high lite of the park) because it was fenced off because they are rebuilding it. In the meantime here are some photos of the rest of the park.

Point State Park, also know as the Point is where a lot of different events are held, we go there to watch fireworks on the 4th of July, regatta in August (I think it might be held in July now) and a lot of other activities take place there. Enjoy the pics.

Picture of Heinz field taken from the point.

PPG Buildings & Plaza

2012-08-22T10:36:00.003-04:00

I have always been fascinated by the buildings of PPG Place (Pittsburgh Plate Glass). Thought I'd share some photos of it with you. Enjoy.

Shrubbery

2012-08-19T12:29:00.000-04:00

Is it shrubbery or bushes? You decide. Maybe they are the same thing.

No labels this time since I don't know the names of all of them.

Enjoy the pics.

More trees.

2012-08-18T17:56:00.000-04:00

The other post I did on trees were trees from when I lived in Florida. These trees are from around my neighborhood in Pittsburgh. Enjoy.

2012-08-14T11:40:00.001-04:00

I only have a few to share right now. While I was out taking pictures of churches my batteries died, so this is all I have for now. Enjoy.

A day at the pool

2012-07-30T13:52:00.000-04:00

Please stop the noise.

I'll just close my eyes, maybe the noise will stop.

Get that bug out of my hair dad.

Do I really have to wear these things.

Having a good time in the water.

Look at me dad!

I got this one.

Yep, I went down the slide.,

Houses

2012-07-25T19:09:00.001-04:00

Thought I'd do a bit of a theme this time. Different types of houses in the area.

While walking around and taking pictures of interesting

houses I had the pleasure of seeing a couple of fawn

wandering the neighborhood.

I just love this one.

Watch for my next post, thanks for looking.

Around my new neighborhood.

Not sure if this is a playhouse for the kids

or if it's used as a storage/garden shed.
