Yup, it's the THIRD annual instalment of THE BIGGEST party of the year, ARTHUR'S DAY!!!

This year Arthur's Day is going to be BIGGER, BETTER and a whole lot more FUN!

You may be asking, "Eh, what's so different about Arthur's Day this year, ar?"

Well, I'll tell you what. For one, it's being held in the most versatile and most affordable Motorsport track in Malaysia, Speed City, Kuala Lumpur.

You also get to watch some of your favourite local bands like Naked Breed and Dragon Red rock your brains out, and do make sure your favourite band gets to perform, you have to head to Guinness Malaysia's FB page (click here) and vote for them! Here are the 6 short listed finalists!

So remember to go and VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!

Only the two bands with the highest votes get to perform on that night!

AND, that's still not the best part. Guess who's gonna' headline the event?

Here's the first release of the new spidey suit with the lead actor in it.

Looks quite a ways more cooler than the old spidey suit no?

However this new spidey suit doesn't follow the exact suit from the comics like the one from the previous movies, but hey, who cares.

Oh oh oh, and I think this new lead actor suits the role better than Toby McGuire too. Who is he you ask?

Well he is Andrew Garfield.

Sounds familiar? Haha, you would have seem him already, in a very famous movie, playing a simple varsity student named, Eduardo Saverin. ;)

Yeap, the new Spiderman is none other than the fictional Mark Zuckerberg's friend and later, foe, and then I guess friend again. Lol. Anyway, this seems promising and I can't wait for the release which has been scheduled for 2012. :)

Hey guys, I've finally found the time to blog cos' I'm having a break from finals. Hehe, see how dedicated I am about blogging? :P Anyway, I'm not going to blog about the ongoings in my life for now, theres little more than books, notes and lectures 24/7. I however will tell you about the devil-sent shows that distract the living daylights out of me when I try to sit down and study. What can you say, I have a weak spot for reality shows. And no it's not the reality shows everybody watches like The Amazing Race, Wipeout, or Fear-Factor; the shows I watch are a little bit more down under and not that popular, at least in Malaysia anyway. Every time I try to study with the TV on, I spot one of these shows going on and bye bye books... -.-" Ahhh FML.

So first of...

TOP SHOT

This show revolves around 16 top marksmen from the United States competing against each other for the grand prize of 100,00 USD. It's basically The Biggest Loser, but instead of ~~fat~~ large people running around wanting to lose weight, you have sixteen of America's most trigger happy law enforces or gun enthusiasts shooting shit for win the ultimate honour the title 'Top Shot'.

I find it funny how all these award winning marksmen would compete so badly to get some lame ass title. I guess it's all about the 100 grand, and those guys don't really give a shit about the title. But anywhooo, it's a good watch.

Moving on...

TAKE HOME CHEF

This show is about this guy, Curtis Stone, stalking people in supermarkets, finding unsuspecting shoppers (mostly female MILFs), making them take him home so that he can surprise their boyfriends/fiancées/husbands with a gourmet dinner. The funny thing about this show is, this guy flirts with the girls, and they actually flirt back at times. Shows how much attention those ones get from the other halves. :P Lol. Oh and this show is so famous that there is a spin off show created from this. What is it you ask? Well it's...

SHEAR GENIUS

This show is basically Project Runway...

...but instead of dresses, they do...hair-dos.

Yup, best hairdresser wins. And don't get me started on this shows eerie resemblance to Project Runway.

What? You wanna' know? Okayyyy!

Both shows baseline plot and run are the same. Every week they compete, to see who makes the best dress/haircut. The worst designed gets axed from the show till one person remains. Hmm, I think I just stated the plot of every reality show on earth, but moving on..

Both shows are hosted by super hot supermodel immigrants who have funny accents while speaking English. Project Runway has Heidi Klum...

And Shear Genius has Camila Alves...

The only difference here is that one is from Germany and the other is from Brazil. Even their poses are similar.

And, both shows have the kinda-gay-nice-guy-mentor-person. Yea you know what I'm talking about. Project Runway has Mr. Tim Gunn...

On this show, a bunch of people answer a call from a distressed restaurant owner to fix up their shack..and they do just that--with a limited time and budget. They turn something shitty like this...

into something a little more like this...

A bit cheesy, yes. However you can't deny the real life emotions and hardship some of the restaurant owners go through.

..and last but not least...

TOP CHEF

Chefs compete to get a shit load of money, and the top chef title. You should watch it for the raw emotion, drama, fights and for the host...Padma.

You know, I, unlike most others on this planet, still believe in the weird ways of M. Night Shymalan's mind; and I think so do the good people at Universal Pictures, because they gave the green light to this guy's latest story after numerous repeated continuous bombs at the box office, the latest being a real life adaptation of one of my favorite shows, The Last Airbender.

But enough of his failures, take a look at the trailer and decide for yourself. I actually think it looks pretty good.

Oh and the movie is aptly named...

My analysis?

I don't think it's the black guys cos' then the movie will just be racist...but I still think he'll die first.

I'm currently in class now.
I have not slept for more than 24 hours.
Went to Souled Out, Hartamas at 9.00 pm and the party there was through the roof!
Stilt walkers, body painted dancers, lights, blasting sounds...
Partied and danced like none of us had class the next day till 2.30 am.
Watched the match, which HAD to go into extra time.
Got back to my friend's apartment at 5.30 am, showered,
and we just rested our eyes till 7.45 am,
and now yea... in class, waiting for the lecturer, who isn't here yet.
I swear if he doesn't show up I'll kill somebody.

Anyway, all there is left to say is...

PS: This picture was taken about 4 days ago for a Proton Snap and Win contest. Too bad I wasn't around to film the whole thing, but by the looks of things the only thing he'll be winning is a 3 days 2 nights stay in the prestigious lock-up cell block 2A, Balai Polis Bukit Aman.

Just got back from Malacca a few days ago with the girlfriend. I shall update about that trip soon. But in the meantime, some news... I passed EOS2! Woot! See you guys in semester 3! :P I was so scared that I'd fail I didn't check my results till after I got back from Malacca. Hahaha.

In other, less enthusiastic news, the girlfriend is going back to Holland for the summer break tomorrow. Bummer. :(

Oh oh oh, and Celcom capped my internet so everything is super slow now. In accordance to their fair usage policy I should be able to get 3.6 Mbs broadband until I exceed 5gb of data download. But I have only used a little over 2gb.

But even so, I got this online text message from Celcom that I've exceeded my share of 5gb, and the text was quite rude, saying they reserve the right to control my broadband speeds. First of all I NEVER GOT 3.6 Mbs transfer speeds. Not even close. On a good day, I got 800Kbs the most, and these guys are capping me for fucks.

Sorry for the hiatus-ness. Haven't been getting internet at home. I just switched to Celcom Broaband. is it any good though? I have 7 days to fiddle around with it, so let me know quick yea?

Exams have ended. Am at home currently. Super busy, cos' I'm moving houses, so yea, lots of packing and stuff. I feel bad for my baby Yinny cos' I can't be there with her though she purposefully delayed her flight back home to spend time with me. I'm sorry baby, it's not that I don't want to be there with you, it's just that I can't everyday for now; till I'm done moving. I feel so shitty. I'm sorry baby. I love you.

Yes, Chelsea won. How does it feel Chelsea? Feels good? Yup, that's how Man u feels EVERY season? Nice isn't it? How generous of Man U to let less deserving teams to feel the thrill of picking up the title. Enjoy it Chelsea, cuz' next season it's all coming back to Old Trafford. ;)

On other news, Malaysia made it through to the semis of the Thomas Cup, after (surprisingly) Hafiz Hashim owned Peerson 21-12, 21-10. To be honest, I wasn't expecting Hafiz to perform as well as he did; i don't think anyone did, but hey, good for him that he stepped up. :) Next stop, China.
Here we come.

Yup, that's what every Manchester United is doing this weekend, living on a prayer. Not so much praying that Manchester united will win against Stoke at Old Trafford, we all know that will most likely happen, though we also know of times where Man U astonishingly screw up; but the prayer is that somehow Chelsea MIRACULOUSLY lose to Wigan on home soil. Yeap, wishful thinking to say the least.

But what can you say, we Man U fans are an optimistic bunch with a never say die attitude *cough cough*. There still is a chance that Chelsea screw up. They might be overexcited about the thought that they might finally feed off United's leftovers... you know since United have won the title so many times. :P That might actually cause concentration lapse in the Chelsea camp; and that is what I am hoping for.

And hopefully, we lift the title for a FOURTH UNPRECEDENTED CONSECUTIVE TIME.

Glory glory Man United...till the end.
