James Clinton Reid of Sumrall died in Stone County early Friday while travelling with friends to the Gulfport Dragway.

James Clinton Reid of Sumrall was struck from behind while he and two other motorcyclists followed behind friends pulling a camper with a pickup truck.

James Clinton Reid of Sumrall‘s fatal crash on U.S. 49 was around 2 a.m. in an area south of the overpass in Perkinston.

The driver of the SUV said he had looked down at his dashboard, and when he looked up, he tried to turn to avoid the crash but it was too late.

James Clinton Reid of Sumrall died at the scene and the driver of the SUV was taken to Stone County Hospital.

The unidentified driver is believed to be in the Air Force and was travelling from Starksville to Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Flurry said.

I don’t know if the unidentified driver was wearing a seat belt, but I do know that it can make a huge difference.

Although, because he was riding a motorcycle, there wasn’t much chance for  James Clinton Reid of Sumrall.

Grant Hickman was killed in a car wreck in Stone County, Mississippi.  According to authorities, Hickman was driving while intoxicated and was not wearing his seat belt.

Hickman had a passenger that was seriously injured in this wreck and was taken to the University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

I have some very sad news to report about a tragic accident involving Daegan L. Stallworth of Ocean Springs.

A one car accident took the life of Daegan L. Stallworth of Ocean Springs.

He was the driver of the car, and they were traveling on CCC camp road.

Daegan L. Stallworth of Ocean Springs was not the only person in the car, and the other two are injured.

Acadian Medical Services took two passengers to Ocean Springs Hospital for treatment of injuries from the accident. The conditions of Chase Braddock, 19, and a 17-year-old female are unknown, police said

I send my condolences to all family and friends of the teens involved.

This is a tragic accident.

It really brings me pain to see what friends and families are going to have to go through in response to this accident.

I don’t know if Daegan L. Stallworth of Ocean Springs was wearing his seat belt or not, but I really want to continue to get the word out.
