Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Cliche? There are too many examples of athletes who have proven it is NOT a cliche. Think of Allen Iverson, who has failed to accept anything less than STARRING ROLE. He's looking for a team - & his best offer came recently from a SOCCER team! (for "novelty" reasons).

ADIDAS - REAL REASON WHY DWIGHT GOES TO NETS??? Read on...On Friday/Sat I "speculated" (on FB, in 2-3 posts) that ADIDAS (endorsed by Dwight) may be a reason why Dwight likes Nets. WELL, I LOOKED UP TRADING IN ADIDAS STOCK ON both US & Euro stock exchanges. ON BOTH FRI (& SAT - overseas/after-market trades) over 150,000 shares of Adidas were traded/changed hands. BEFORE FRI & DWIGHT'S ANNOUNCEMENT, DURING PAST FEW YRS ADIDAS DAILY TRADES RARELY EXCEEDED 35,000/DAY. COINCIDENCE??? Btw - why was Dwight in Russia earlier this week?? FYI: Nets' owner is richest Russian, 32 richest man in the world, net worth $18 bil. BASICALLY, DWIGHT MAY BE ABLE TO POCKET EXTRA $50 MIL/YR THANKS TO increased Adidas sales in Russia, where anything can be manipulated (Nets owner is President's Putin's close ally/biz associate). PUTIN CAN EASILY MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR NIKE TO DO BIZ IN RUSSIA (he chased out BP, McDonalds, etc). Just wondering...read my previous posts to understand what I'm talking about. Jason Richardson re-signs with Magic...I guess he will be expected to WIN the games for Magic this season -- the only consistent scorer at Magic. But, it'll be a beginning of depressing several yrs for Magic fans. Shaq's departure seems like it happened yesterday. And, just like that, Magic went from a CONTENDER to a mediocre team (there was money for top players, but Magic has a knack fro attracting TOP free agents to don't pan out in Orlando...Rashard Lewis, McGrady, Steve Francis, Grant Hill, etc, etc...THE MOST SHOCKING: THE DECLINE SINCE MAGIC PLAYED LAKER IN THE NBA FINALS IN 2009. You can only blame so much on bad luck -- but, if you fail to win anything with some of the greatest players in last 20 yrs, then it's not just lack of luck...
