New items…

2012-04-19T22:37:00.001-04:00

I have some new wedding invitations in the works, after creating some communion invites for a friend I got that itch to create more wedding invitations. I haven’t printed them yet, but hope to tomorrow. I’ll post pictures of the printed versions later but for the time being here are what they look like. I would love to get thoughts and ideas on what anyone thinks about them.

I’m actually looking forward to printing these and seeing what they look like afterwards! I just wanted to try some different things, something that would catch the attention of all those new brides out there. Have a great evening everyone!

Making Babies…

2011-12-15T20:25:00.001-05:00

So sorry I haven’t been around lately, things got a little crazy around our house. Now that Christmas is in full swing and people are out hustling and bustling getting their shopping done, I have a new project I’m working on that I like to call “making babies”. I have posted some pictures of my new little babies, something that has become a really fun project. All babies can be purchased through my Etsy shop. I can get them made before Christmas, however with it being so close to the date, shipping may be a little more expensive. Just message me before purchasing and I will look up the shipping cost/prices for you.

All babies come either as an ornament with a wire and twine to hang from or as a figurine. Keep your eyes open for more from my line of “Making Babies”!

Summer is almost over…

2011-08-16T15:48:00.001-04:00

Summer may be almost over but quite yet! There are still some pretty amazing things to be done and see. You just need to use your imagination and see where it takes you. Maybe looking outside the box is the way to go, you never know what you may find. Like blueberries for instance…even though summer is coming to an end the blueberries are coming out in full force. Take a look at some of these absolutely scrumptious items I discovered today:

Doesn’t this color and theme just make you want some blueberry cobbler? Or the navy blue shawl would be great as a light cover up when picking blueberries. No matter which of these great items spark interest in you, all are the perfect items for the end of summer.

Summer Weddings…

2011-06-15T23:08:00.001-04:00

It’s the time of year when summer is here and the air is warm and people are happy! Summer also brings “Weddings”, I should know I work in a bridal salon for the job that helps pay the bills, until I become rich from being a world famous stationer, ha-ha ok so that really won’t be happening anytime soon. Ok back on topic, summer weddings, they are always so gorgeous. So I thought I would search through Etsy and see what gorgeous wedding related items I could find and these are only some of the fabulous finds, take a look!

What do you think? Stunning pieces aren’t they? I totally think so, and there are so many more where these gorgeous items came from. Don’t forget to click each image and see what else these great Etsians have in their shops!

New Items…

2011-06-14T23:04:00.001-04:00

As I promised I am not making this blog post so far in the future you have forgotten that I write them! I wanted to share my other new sets with you, and I believe I gave you a hint in my last post, it went something like this: dum dum de dum dum dum de dum…any ideas? You guessed it, it has to do with weddings! I thought why couldn’t I create wedding invitation suites. I like to believe that I am talented, well at least at allot of things, not all things (darn I wish I would be rich, maybe in another life). So without further ado here are what I came up with for my creations, and I would love some feedback!

This next invitation is called the Jessica Invitation Suite

This last one we call the Veronica Invitation Suite

Obviously all invitations are customizable (to a point) all I need is the information to plug in. I am not doing customized fonts at this point but it will be something I will offer in the future, like offering 3-4 different fonts per invitation. I did take some pictures of these but I am not happy with the photography just yet, they still need tweaking, I may even just retake them. Anyway..what do you think? Feedback is definitely needed and wanted! Happy Tuesday into Wednesday everyone! Don’t forget my shops will be in vacation mode starting next Friday evening (DISNEY TRIP!!). Ciao!

My apologies…

2011-06-10T00:01:00.001-04:00

My sincerest apologies to all of my readers, I have been VERY lax in writing my blog these days. Some of it has been family matters and issues, and some of it I admit has just been pure laziness on my part. Although on my behalf I have been working on some new projects for my shop and now for my blog. LOVE that you can add a PayPal cart right to your blog…nifty little tool that is. Anyway…I wanted to share with you some of my newest creations and get some of your opinions. Would love to hear from you and get some feedback. First up we have my hand sketched and watercolor painted butterflies. I got this idea ( sort of) from a blog that I came across while writing the blog I write for work (http://madeleinesdaughter.blogspot.com/) where a great stationer has created hand painted wedding invitations, absolutely GORGEOUS if I do say so myself!! So I thought well with my back ground and (hopefully) talent I should be able to do my own version of something. So butterflies were what I came up with. Here are a few images of what I created. I haven’t as of yet added them to my shop but will be soon, just need to work on the photography I think.

So that’s my hand sketched and watercolor painted butterflies! What do you think?

Since it’s getting late and I didnt realize HOW late (6am will be toooo early) I’ll have to post my other new creations in my nest blog post and I promise it won’t be such a long time frame between postings! Just a little hint as to what the other creations are: dum dum de dum, dum dum de dum…
