                <description><![CDATA[<p>Jewelry designer Jeffrey Appling of Palm Springs placed as a finalist for the 2007 Saul Bell Design Award competition for jewelry design.&nbsp; Both the designer and his design were honored in Las Vegas during The JCK Show--Las Vegas, June 2nd.&nbsp; Jeffrey received a certificate from Rio Grande for being a finalist in the Gold/Platinum category&nbsp;for this international design competition.&nbsp; The honored ring consists of hand engraved Platinum borders with a faceted Black and a faceted White Pearl protruding through the shoulders.&nbsp; Tsavorite Garnet and Pink Sapphires are pave set around the pearls.&nbsp; The inside of the ring was created to acurately fit the human finger.&nbsp; The ring can be viewed on this website under JEA Designs or to the following link.</p>
