Jeanette has a "CAN DO" Attitude.

As an intern for Liberty One Radio's "Military Morning Show", Jeanette O. proved that she can learn complex sets of linear tasks quickly. She adapts and remembers, and communicates openly, asking questions and letting her coworkers know where she is going. She is not afraid to tell you when she is stuck on a task, she gives us good feedback, and is willing to take on a broad spectrum of tasks.

Among other things, Jeanette showed courage when she used her unique personal history to benefit our Morning Military Show. She researched the issues of active and retired military and their families, while relating the problems and challenges of her personal journey. She has social skills as well as the potential to take on technical tasks.

The internship included research, planning, writing, performing, recording, editing, and publishing audio for podcast. Jeanette helped us document the podcast production schedule and also our weekly show schedule. She takes direction well, and smiles most of the time, which keeps the work light and pleasant.

With some guidance, I am convinced that Jeanette can accomplish anything to which she puts her mind. She has a profound sense of duty, and ambitious dreams. Jeanette's main challenge is staying focused and motivated. She has good potential, self confidence, and she is ambitious. With more experience and wisdom, perhaps she will find work that inspires and satisfies her thirst for adventure, and perform to her full potential.

Thanks to interns like Jeanette for motivating our staff to keep moving forward.

Today,I finished my ever so long research project, finally! Also, wrote some traffic and weather updates for the radio station. Then I had the chance to record them and they sounded great. Also, i set up the equipment for recording. It was a great day. See you on Friday.

Hello my wonderful people. Today I set up for an interview it was a test to see if i can remember every thing that I had learned. Of course I nailed it! Today I listened to some podcast interviews done with SPIN and one of our other interns. I learned a lot of what is going on with some of our public benefit issues like food stamps. I also learned more on micro soft excel, I made a spreadsheet for the Liberty One Radio podcasts. I also researched some military issues such as deployments, education and benefits. I also ate some more chocolate!

Today I learned how to set up and use production equipment. Also, I learned how to edit and make some commercials for the radio. Some of the things I learned how to use is the mixer board you know the sound stuff! I used the program audacity to learn how to edit and do every thing else. I also learned the different cords to plug the microphones in to set up for an interview. Last but not least I learned how to create links. I basically learned alot today. See you next time!

So this was supposed to be yesterday's blog, but my internet connection was lost. Anyways, yesterday I created a weekly schedule of the shows that will be airing on the radio. That way I am familiar with what our plan is. Also, I brought in some military newspapers for the military show, so we can get more familiar with the advertisers and hopoefully make some good connects. My favorite part of the day was when we all had lunch at a chinese restaurant. We all met there to discuss some show ideas and what has been going on in news. All in all, it was a good day I cant wait until we go more in depth with what we are all about. I will see you again next Tuesday!

Today I have learned how to make a google calendar, I pretty much set all my pages up. I'm actually looking foward to learning more as far as the website tech stuff goes! lol! I kinda feel clueless but I'm sure I will get the hang of it. Today, I also met Michael Thaller which is the program director of the Military morning show . I will start getting all the info. needed to help place the show together. I am looking foward to doing all I can to assist Liberty One Radio accomplish it's goals. So I will drop in again on Thursday to let everyone know what is next.

Today I interviewed for an internship, had some coffee and talked about some ideas. I have scheduled times to come in on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Noon-5pm. I was assigned some work to do like write a bio and work on some military stuff for the military show.
