Stampin' Up!'s Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom punch made this beautiful butterfly! I was inspired by the card on page 16 in Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. Instead of scoring the background I used a stamp from the Creative Elements stamp set in the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog for the background.

Last card for my January Card Buffet uses the Sweet Cake stamp set shown on page 33 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. I love using the Big Shot and the Textured Impressions Embossing Folders! I used Stampin' Up!'s Perfect Polka Dots on the card front and used Stampin' Dimensionals to pop the image up. Mixed Bunch and the Edglits!

Carrie and I got together last month and created cards for our card buffets. Creating the cards together is twice as much fun plus a whole lot faster! We chose the stamps and most of the papers for these cards from Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog and the 2012 Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration catalog.

Ninth card for my January Card Buffet is another CAS (clean and simple) card. I chose the Mixed Bunch Stamp set and Stampin' Up!'s Blossom Punch on page 17 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. The bottom of the card front was die cut and embossed using Stampin' Up!'s new Adorning Accents Edgelits and Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders from page 7 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. And check out the large pearls on page 26 which I used for the center of the flower.

I created the eighth card for my January Card Buffet using Kindness Matters stamp set shown on page 13 Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper on page 7 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Sale-a-bration catalog and Artistic Etchings from Stampin' Up!'s 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. I love how this card turned out. I added sponging to the edges to finish it off.

Fifth card for my January Card Buffet uses the Tea Shoppe stamp set from page 19 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. I love everything about this stamp set! I used Stampin' Up!'s Twitterpated Designer Series Paper on this card and took the color directly from the paper and just HAD to add 3/8" Riding Hood Red 3/8" Pleated Satin Ribbon to complete this card. This was, by far, the favorite of everyone!

Fourth card for my January Card Buffet is a card using You're My Type stamp set from page 27 of Stampin' Up!'s 2012 Occasions Mini catalog. Stampin' Up! had the perfect paper as the background for this card, see the old fashioned typewriter in the background paper? It is from the First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper in Stampin' Up!'s 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog (this one is not from the mini). We got the inspiration for this card from Stampin' Connection, there were several so we cased the layout and choose different colors and papers. It could be used for a masculine Valentine or masculine birthday.
