Dinner Time!

Breakfast is considered to be the most important meal of the day. Not only that, but breakfast is also the most guiltless meal of the day. I just love breakfast because I can eat to my heart and stomach’s content without feeling guilty as I knew that what I have just consumed will be burned throughout the day.

Unlike breakfast, dinner or others may call it supper,  seems to be the least important meal hence becoming an optional meal nowadays. Especially to individuals who wants to shed off some weight, they’re most likely to be advised by their trainer to cut down food intake during dinner. – others may actually skip their dinner.

Now that I quite gained some pounds, I’ve been thinking of skipping dinner to cut it down a bit. But dinner is sacred for me and my family. This is the time when we all pray together as a family thanking the Lord for His provision and guidance throughout the day. In addition to that, this is also the only time when we have our family bonding: brainstorm about the business, shares our thoughts, jokes, and other stuffs. Basically this is the only time when we bond and communicate with God as a family.

Perhaps what I can do instead is to prepare myself my own “Less Calories” dinner. But I MUST…Rre..Sist…Temptation…

Passing A New Bill: Rename Your Name

I was sitting on my semi-rocking chair when suddenly a thought came to me. Why don’t we have any law about legally renaming a person’s name.

What I propose is: When a person turns 13, he or she has the option to rename himself/herself. This chance will only come once in a lifetime, and it is only valid on the 13th year.

I think it is fair enough to give every person an opportunity to rename himself. When you come to think of it, you are the one who’s going to live in that identity for the rest of your life, and you don’t even get the chance choose your own name.

I believe if ever this bill will be approved, people with similar name as this person will be very happy about it:

Why on the 13th year? Well, I just think that a person at this age is less likely to take advantage of the opportunity for illegal purposes.

I have already heard about the Cebu Dancing Inmates sometime ago, but I didn’t really pay much attention to them. Well, what’s so special about them in the first place. They’re just a bunch of prisoners who just dance. Any prisoner can do that.

But they drew my attention when the choreographer of  Mr. Michael Jackson danced with them and made a video for the promotion of “This Is It” DVD. This is an honor not just to the inmates but the whole country as well. I know that the inmates really enjoyed dancing with MJ’s choreographer because they are a big fan of MJ.

I salute the leader who lead these inmates to show-off their hidden talents, and put it in good use. Imagine, these people dancing simultaneously are convicts. They may have been thieves, murderers, rapist, etc. but now you see them dancing, having fun, and even promoting world peace. This is a testimony that it is never too late to put your life into good use.

Thanks Dancing Inmates. You guys are really something. You made us proud! More power!

First of all I would like to deeply apologize for being under the radar for quite sometime. Just an update to what transpired towards the end of 2009:

The main highlight was our GW Cars North Edsa showroom has finally opened last Dec. 11, 2009. I would like to thank the Lord for granting us such opportunity.

Since the showroom opened, I’ve been caught up with a lot of things. Thanks Lorenz of Zorlone.com and Mr. Sonnie Santos of Santos.ph for the support. Held a 2-day soft opening event.

It’s really a great feeling to finally see what you have planned is now manifesting bit by bit.

We now already sold a reasonable number of units. More to come! ;P

I am terribly sorry for not being able to update this blog, but I’m also asking for your kind understanding. I love what I am doing right now, but I still can’t leave blogging behind – this is passion.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful holidays. Let me just greet you guys a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

It should be a photo of a human. What am I thinking?

Just a thought. Are we humans naturally awake or asleep?

I just observed that in a day we almost spend half of it sleeping and half of it being awake. As we all know, the norm is we humans are naturally awake who just goes to sleep to rejuvenate our bodies. But what if it is actually the other way around? We humans are naturally asleep who just wakes up in the morning. What if the dream land is actually the real world?

Some says that we are naturally awake who just goes to sleep because we spend more time being awake.

• Well, babies sleeps almost the whole day for 3 months or so. Also consider the time it is being conceived.

• My grandparents spends their whole day sleeping.

• It is inevitable that in the end we all are going to sleep and be in the dream land for a long long time.

This reason is arguable, but I don’t think this will be a solid ground for us to say that we all are naturally awake.

Some says that we are naturally awake who just goes to sleep because we dream about what happened to us in the real world.

• I don’t know if you guys experienced this, but there are times when I was in a certain situation wherein I’d say: “Wait a minute, this has already happened before. In my dream perhaps?” Uhh..what does this instance called again? Deja Vu?

If you guys also experience this, I guess the dream land can also influence the real world.

Some says that we are naturally awake who just goes to sleep because we cannot do in dream land what we can do in real life.

• I remember eating hamburgers when I was in dream land, bought them in a theme park.
• I cried when I was in dream land. I was actually in tears when I woke up.
• I have flied a helicopter when I was in dream land. I was a soldier there.
• I fell in love when I was in dream land. I saw this very beautiful girl that I have never met before in real life, I can see her face clearly. I searched for this girl in real life. I was in grade 6 back then.

There’s still more that I can’t really remember. I know you guys also has this real-like experience in dream land, something you did and felt like it really happened.

Though I have no basis but my observations and experiences, I’m still siding with we are awake beings who just goes to sleep – just because it is the norm. I welcome whoever can convince me it is, in fact, the other way around.

After an intense basketball game, bro and I decided to drop by our former house to have some water to drink. This house is what I called home for 21 years as I lived there since I was born. It’s been 2 years since we moved out from that house.

As we entered the house, we saw unknown people watching TV on the living room giving us the “Who are these Chinese people” look. We head to the kitchen to serve ourselves a nice cool water, but we were assisted instead. After gulping down almost a liter of water, I went to the back of the house to check out our former pet dogs. I felt a mild prick in my heart when the dogs barked at me.

Though we are now living in a new house, I still treat the old house as home. It really feels strange to feel like a stranger to your own home.

Clutter Box: Organize it later.

Looking for a misplaced documents cannot only be annoying, but also wastes a lot of precious time as well. Spending forever turning the office upside down, looking for a single document, that in the end you’ll find it on the coffee table outside.

More than a result of memory gap, it’s a result of being unorganized. Organizing can be a challenge especially on busy days.

This happens to me quite often. So I devised a simple system for myself that would delay the organizing process without the risk of misplacing important documents.

I call it The Clutter Box.

Here’s how it works:

Files/documents —–> Clutter Box —–> Organize.

It’s really simple. Upon receiving an important document, instead of putting it elsewhere, I dump it in the clutter box. This way, whenever I need my documents I know where to find it. Then just organize everything on free time.
