I was impressed with how much my mileage increased after replacing my upstream sensor. I went from about 210miles per tank to 300. I highly recommend replacing your o2 sensors. Of course your increase wont be very drastic if your lifted and have a poor gear to tire ratio. Before replacing the sensor i had 3/4 of a tank left, i only went 55 miles, and i was able to get 75 before hitting dead center half a tank. Of course that is not a very accurate measure but i can definitely tell its better. I will update in a few weeks and see the best i can get. If don't know when it was changed last, it probably never has been.. lol i bet mine has was change once previously.

Ive been taking a few AUTOCAD classes at my high school and have been working on a few ideas for light bars and whatnot. tell me what you think about this one. I really like it because any time you want to fold the lights down for highway driving or protection of the lights, all you would have to do is pull 2 pins and fold them down. The outside is square tubing and on the inside, there is round tubing and the round tubing has pegs that are welded to it. The pegs have the light brackets welded to them. the whole thing would be mounted in front and under a roof rack or with simple mods, it could be mounted without a roof rack. The colors coordinate with what would be welded to what. The blue is all welded together, the red is all welded together, and the grey just acts as the bar holding up my roof rack. Let me hear some ideas and opinions

Every time i pull the dipstick there is condensation on the very top of it with a pretty significant amount of milky oil but only on the dipstick top and not the engine oil. If you pull the valve cover cap there is no milk or blow by there and the water temp runs very cool so i dont know whats goin on... i dont know if it had a bad head gasket and someone replaced it but never cleaned the dipstick (very unlikly). Was wondering what kind of light yall could shed on this subject. Im an experienced engine builder but ive never had milk accumulating in the dipstick tube but have the oil look brand new...

Hi Folks, I'm in the process of piecing together a sound system for my 01 XJ. I'm apprehensive about the front speaker mounting depth. I can get a great deal on a pair of these:

        Amazon

Amazon

From what I've read 2-5/16 (and thats just what I've read) is largest depth acceptable.Unfortunately the speakers below look to be 2-3/8. I obviously don't want the window to smack the back of the speaker. The crossovers and specs looks like pretty good for these speakers. Will they work?
