OOTD : A Line Sequins Zipper Up Evening Dress by Dresswe

It's been so long time that I posted something on this blog. The girls who follow me on other social media platforms know that my laptop was dead. I lost all my files, and pictures related to my blog, almost all my pending blog posts were gone and I left empty-handed. It took a lot of effort and time to get my work back. Color Studio Color Rush Lipstick in Jet Setter : Swatches & Review

Hi girls,

Spring is here and soon we are going to welcome summers. I love the spring season. Everything seems so vivid and fresh during this season, whether you see it in blooming flowers or spring clothes. Colors are everywhere. I love wearing bold and vibrant colors this season. Orange is my go-to lip color during the spring season. I bought Color Studio Color Rush Lipstick in shade Jet Setter a while ago from daraz.pk, let's see whether it won my heart or no.

Packaging :

The packaging is very good. It comes in a black cardboard case with a list of ingredients and other product information written over it. The lipstick tube is black and feels sturdy and cap fits well. The shade name is written on the bottom on both and matches the color itself.

My Thoughts :

It is really hard to find a perfect orange lip color in locally available brands, that too which did not dig a hole in your pocket. Sometimes you get the desired color but do not get perfect coverage or formula. I was really excited to try this particular shade. My heart skipped a beat when I first saw online swatches of Jet Setter by Color Studio. I thought this was the color I was looking for my entire life. Its just perfect. When I swatched it on my hand my heart filled with joy as it was the creamiest lipstick ever that I bought from local brands.

The formula is just perfect. Its creamy matte with just a bit of sheen in it. If you want it to be completely matte, then slightly blot it with tissue paper and voila shine will be gone. The color is a bold true orange color with is very trendy yet dare to wear kind of. When I want my lips to do all the talking then I just apply it on its own. When I want to add just a hint of color on my lips, I just dab it with some other lighter shades and get the most perfectly tinted lips. The lipstick is very long-lasting. With all the eating and drinking, it lasted on my lips for good 3 hours and then gradually left a beautiful stain on my lips which lasted forever.

Hi girls, I am not a lip gloss person but there are times when I have to add sheen and gloss on my lips to rock any glamorous look. I do not prefer lip gloss as I have a bad habit of licking my lips every now and then and no gloss has such staying power to stay on my lips for more than an hour. That is why I prefer lipstick over lip glosses.

My Thoughts :

First of all, this is my first organic lip product ever. So I was pretty much excited to try these. The packaging is very impressive as these come in a frosted glass tube with the product name written all over. The shade name and weight are provided on the bottom. The silver applicator brush is very helpful in precise application. The lip glosses have a distinct fruity scent that reminds me of oranges.

The lip glosses are sheer and have shimmer particles in them. Due to these shimmers some times they feel gritty on lips. These are not very pigmented and would look better if you layer it over another lipstick, just to add sheen. The staying power of these lip glosses is below par. On my lips, they just stayed for one hour, without eating or drinking anything.

Coming to shades, Champagne is more a crystal lipgloss with golden shimmer particles, Pink is as pink as its name, Fig is very sheer and does not show much on my lips. The most pigmented one is Guava which is a pretty maroon shade with golden shimmer particles. These glosses hydrate my lips for more than two hours.

Overall, These are just okay products and I feel that pretty much overpriced too. If you are just a beginner and just want to add a little sheen to your lips then you can try these babies.

Packaging is very basic and practical. It comes in a ,ight pink bottle with screw top black lid. You are supposed to squeeze a bit and pour it on your hands to take out some product.

My Thoughts :

My skin type is combination and it is very difficult to get a product which can equally moisturize it and without break outs. I bought this olay essentials beauty fluid and was not sure whether it will work for me or not. But after first application it took my heart. My skin was never felt so moisturized , youthful , soft and supple before. I have already gone through its half bottle and my skin is radiant and supple. The formula is very balanced. It quickly absorbs into skin and does not leave any residue or stickiness behind. It also do not leave any white caste effect. It has a very refreshing mild fragrant which lasts up to few hours.

After using it for one month continuously, I have noticed that dry patches around my lips and cheeks are disappeared. My skin feels more radiant and hydrated. I cannot start my day without this gem now. Its my holygrail product and must be best skin care product that I have tried in the past year. It is now a essential part of my beauty regime and I love to apply it after every time I wash my face. I am using it twice a day .

This moisturizer is meant for combination and oily skin and I am loving it.

I used to feel very lazy doing outfit posts, but after reading many compliments and encouraging comments from my lovely readers, I want to do it more often. Today I am wearing a kurta from Orient latest Sawan Collection. This was unstitched I get it stitched from my tailor. I really adore chevron prints and this is the most trendiest thing this year. I love the way black and white is incorporated with reddish maroon embroidery. I paired it with my favorite pair of slim fit jeans.

I love this delicate embroidery that it has on its front . It adds such a class to this simple outfit. I love this kurta, its simply awesome just for going out with friends or shopping . Like seriously , I always noticed what shoes the other girls are wearing when I meet them and when I see some gorgeous pair of sexy, trendy heels I just cant stop myself by praising them. My Experience :

There is nothing more frustrating than a wrong shoe size, right girls ? . Most important thing that I experienced is that their shoes are true to size. It means if they have mentioned it size 7 it will be for sure. They have also given a shoe size measurement chart on their website to help you out. I am size 38 in UK and they have US sizes and size 7 fits me perfectly. All other specifications given on the website and stock pictures matches perfectly with the actual product. Shoes are well built, no loose threads. They are just flawless. I love love these strappy chain heels and I ordered these in two colors. first one is neon yellow and other one is black. Packaging:

Lipstick comes in a black cardboard packaging with list of ingredients on one side and brand name on the other side. The lipstick itself comes in a black tube which feels very sturdy and caps closes tightly. It feels good to hold in hand and does not feel flimsy at all. The bottom of the tube contains a clear box which shows the color inside the tube. I would try to open this area once I finish my lipstick .. haha

My thoughts:

The packaging as I mentioned above is very good. The lipstick has a faint scent of coconut which does not stay for more than few moments. I like its smell much. It does not have any taste which is a plus point for me. The formula is very creamy and goes opaque in just one swipe. It hydrates my lips which is because of the jojoba oil it has in it. The shade is a gorgeous berry color which has warm undertones. The color itself is very flattering against my medium skin tone. I never thought that I could ever sport such a bright fuschia berry color on my lips but it proved me wrong. This color would suit most of the skin tones.

The staying power of this lipstick is mediocre. It stays on my lips for 3 hours without eating or drinking. I do not mind retouching my lipstick in between so it is not a problem for me. The lipstick does not gradually fades away. It starts to fade first from center of lips and then sides.

Over all, for the price tag of Rs. 775 this is a good moisturizing lipstick. I would love to try more shades from this collection in near future.

Winter has not yet arrived and its very pleasant in Karachi . But I have started feeling chilly breeze in the evening and night time. But its still bearable and I can still wear some cotton and chiffon dresses with some wraps and denim combo.

I paired a simple denim leggings with a chiffon irregular hem empire waist chiffon dress. this dress has a beautiful ice blue color and floral prints on the borders. I love to wear floral prints as it gives a refreshing look. The color is so cool and summery and dress has got short sleeves but I turned it into a winter look by layering it with a denim short jacket. The jacket has metallic buttons and very simple yet classy. Shoes are white perforated pump heels which goes with my most of the clothes.

The cosmetics that are shown above are bought from two different places. The Color Studio Pro Dip Liner and Essence Long Lasting Lipstick is bought from Imtiaz super market few days before.
