Bike Love 2010 Stop-Motion Video

“Asheville on Bikes cultivates the culture of commuting and urban cycling within our city through celebration and advocacy. We believe bicycling has a direct impact on the health of our community.” Each year hundreds of people gather in Asheville, North Carolina to celebrate and promote these values. To capture the experience, I produced a stop motion video. After tons of fun at the 2010 Bike Love celebration, I have put together over 7000 photos into an 8 minute clip. It is kind of long but I wanted to include everyone who participated. Here is everyone’s answer to what the hell I was doing in the back room of the party. I had a great time putting this together and appreciate everyone’s participation. It made for a very entertaining night.

First Attempt at Underwater Photography

Got out early this morning for an underwater pool shoot with Erik Ostergaard. Used an Ewa-Marine underwater housing and on-camera flash. Some SCUBA gear would be nice for this. I would drop to the bottom of the pool for as long as I could hold my breath and click away. Learned a lot. Can’t wait to do it again.
