If I Were Elected or For Those Who Seek Election

In the last article, I covered the debate issues and what primary election candidates for President of the United States have stated since 2008, issues that are currently important to talk about in Congress and the White Office; but more importantly what actions must be taken to SOLVE the issues.

If I were running for the office, this is what I have to say and what should be done. Of course, I am not going to run for office, so think of it as passing ideas to viable candidates for elected office in Congress and our next President of the United States, to include a portion, as a warning to Supreme and Upper Court Justices and Judges who have ruled, not from the Constitution, but by public opinion and political leanings. The list is in form of bullets and I have attempted to put them in order according to subject material from my handwritten notes.

ABORTION … Take government out of the issue. Stop forcing religious entities and people whose religious beliefs are against abortions, especially in circumstances that does not involve rape or danger to mother's life. In most cases, the “Day-After” pill is more a recommendation than waiting until a fetus is developed. Abortion is murder, there is no way around that, whether you are looking at it from a religious point of view or a humanitarian point of view. Government has created a business and a social program concerning abortion and must remove itself from the equation. Government has literally made it a wholesale operation that has killed at least five million innocent lives since the Roe v. Wade decision that created the nightmare. Repeal that decision because it should never have happened and impeach judges/justices who do not abide by constitutional law or tries to circumvent or legislate from the bench. It would help to relax adoption laws to provide the incentive to go another route besides abortion.
Illegal Immigration … We have, have had, a national security problem since the government ignores its own immigration laws and caters to a government south of our border who feels that we owe them something or we stole real estate belonging to them. In the case of the latter, it is not historically correct. Before the Spaniards came, the indigenous Mexicans were practicing human sacrifice, and just before the Spaniards arrived, the Aztecs were murdering people almost daily. The Spaniards created settlements and built monasteries for the monks and priests who accompanied the Conquistadors to convert the natives to Christianity. When Spain lost its power on the seas, it also lost its ability to control the colonies they developed and they were abandoned one by one. Mexico is no different. So if there is any real estate claims to be made, it should be made by Spain, not Mexico, who is a hybrid nation of Spanish and indigenous native Americans who didn't cross the Rio Grande River until the Spaniards colonized or built trading posts in California and Texas. If their invasion of illegal immigrants are based upon that falsehood, propagated by the government of Mexico as propaganda in their school textbooks, then it is an act of invasion and an act of war. Otherwise, for purposes other than transporting illegal drugs and smuggling firearms over the border, they are trying to improve their lives. But they still must use the legal method, like so many before them have done. Because of their attitude of making the United States adopt a second language and their belief that United States real estate belongs to them, they have no desire whatsoever to become a legal citizen. They come to America, end up in ghettos, and too many turn to crime; sheep to be used by the drug cartels and street gangs that have developed over the past three centuries. The reason why there are immigration laws and limitations is to: (1) Ensure there are not more immigrants than there are jobs; (2) to provide a medical examination to ensure that infectious diseases are not brought here that could cause an epidemic or pandemic; (3) allocated annual immigration limits to the number of visas for temporary work, temporary attendance to colleges and universities, or a road to naturalization as a citizen of the United States are in place because as reason #1, it must coincide with the jobs available and the unemployment rate – for obvious reasons; and (4) to ensure through a criminal background check that criminal elements, organized crime lords (cartels), and terrorists do not enter the United States. Overall, the legal immigrant is upset at the government not enforcing its immigration laws and providing amnesty programs when they went through the expense, paperwork, and time to do it legally. They have a right to be angry. Overall, immigrants whose purpose is to live and become citizens here, are better and a more loyal citizen than too many born and raised here. It is because American youth have no appreciation of what they have, while immigrants have seen and lived in places where freedom is reduced or practically doesn't exist at all. For example, why would a person escaping from a socialist or communist regime want the same political ideology to be adopted here, a democratic republic? The reason for their exodus would be moot. Employers are just as much to blame as the federal and state governments. The state governments, county and local law enforcement should be allowed to enforce immigration laws, despite being a federal matter as it has been done in the past. The problem is, once again, federal law enforcement are not doing their jobs because their superiors are not making it an issue. Employers who hire and employ illegal immigrants should be fined to the amount it costs for each immigrant to be due processed and return form their place of origin – and for each illegal immigrant found to be working there. In addition, no entitlements must be given to illegal immigrants, and those cities, counties, and states that provide sanctuary or harbor illegal immigrants should be fined just as the employers caught with illegal employees. The amendment must be rescinded that states that persons born here automatically are citizens, to read that if parents are illegal immigrants, so are the children, whether born here or not. One of the major reasons why California continually has financial problems is because of its illegal alien population that they cater to, provide medical care, education and other benefits supposed to be afforded only to those carrying legal green cards/visas or citizens of the United States. Forgery of identification and documentation is a felony; however, the illegal immigrant caught using it should merely be deported and warned if they return they will spend time in prison. The people that belong in prison are the ones providing the forged identification and documentation. If we don't do it that way we will end up with more crowding of prisons than we already have and an increase in cost to the American taxpayer. We must say NO to the North American Union, and if I were in office I would ensure that the offices set up by GW Bush and continued to operate in the Obama administration would be closed and those employees told to transfer or find jobs in the private sector (like the rest of us). No illegal immigrant or children of illegal immigrants should ever be allowed to hold public office that requires citizenship – and certainly someone that doesn't break laws. Disrespect the law in one form, it is easier to disrespect others.
ENTITLEMENTS and SOCIAL PROGRAMS … Most of these are nothing more than social engineering where those in government set up policies to make citizens become increasingly dependent upon the government. There isn't any real constitutional authority for most of them. Like HUD, Housing Urban Development, an agency that over its long period of time has had little viable results (inefficient) despite its expenditure of large amounts of taxpayer dollars and is corrupted by land and housing developers. If there is going to be such a program, it should be run like and in cooperation with Habitat for Humanity that provides those who want affordable housing a “hand up” and not a “hand out” – and part of their requirement besides making the affordable mortgage payments, with little or no interest, is to put in a given amount of hours helping to build their own house. Habitat is not only national, but international. It is probably the only successful program that Jimmy Carter developed and made popular. It is an incentive program, not an entitlement. I really don't like using the word “entitlement” - replaced from the word “welfare” because of its bad publicity – “entitlement” means that it is something owed to a citizen, or his/her constitutional right to have it – which is certainly NOT the case. I would slowly phase out and kill HUD and all its offices. Constitution states Limited Government. In the case of Social Security, it is NOT an entitlement. It is paid into all of our working lives through payments deducted from our paychecks or quarterly payments sent in by the self employed. It is a retirement program gone wrong, initially a good idea. It has gone wrong because Congress, in charge of our money, or supposed to be, has been stealing from it to pay other programs. It was supposed to be a Trust Fund – which means it is supposed to be used only for Social Security, like Medicare funds are only for Medicare. In addition, it is a retirement program paid into where the government is the beneficiary if you die and there is a balance left and citizens can only use it at the prescribed age or circumstance mandated by government. So, if you are partially disabled or disabled and cannot work, you cannot get your monthly benefit check until you go through a horrible period of bureaucracy, often having to get a lawyer, that you must pay a portion of your money to, in order to get funds that is yours. The system is so cheap that they hold your first payment back one month so if you die before the next benefit check is due, your estate won't owe them money. The Social Security system must be reformed. It must be in the hands of those who paid into it and they must decide, if 30 years of age or younger at this point, whether they want to invest their money in an investment portfolio or let it remain within the Social Security system and the person should be able to fill out a form that designates any funds remaining to a beneficiary of their choosing. Its THEIR money.

GOVERNMENT AND CHARITY … In line with the thought of welfare, government is not in the business of using (or supposed to be using) taxpayer funding to charitable causes or any other resources financed by the taxpayer. Taxation without Representation was one of the major causes of the American Revolution. Davy Crockett gave a fiery speech against Congress voting on bill that would provide a widow of an American military officer funds from taxpayers because they wouldn't provide charity funds from their own congressional salaries. However, too soon, the government forgot his speech and gradually as time went on, Congress was approving funding that belongs in the private charitable sector. In most cases, private donations are larger than what Congress will provide; and at the same time, the Veterans Administration will not pay veterans owed benefits from service-incurred injuries and illnesses unless the veteran goes through a multitude of bureaucracy until they finally give in. Often the vet dies before the payment is finally approved, despite documentation. I know, I am one of those many who have been cheated of promised benefits. Yet, the military will spend inflated amounts for their equipment, hardware, et cetera that one could purchase far cheaper in the private market. Although the military and the Veterans Administration are two different entities, they are still part of the government, supposedly overseen by Congress – who has yet to take action in my case. They ARE in charge of funds/monies according to the US Constitution. William Shakespeare was right about lawyers, and one of our problems in Congress is that there are too many of them in elected offices – we need more statesmen and stateswomen who have at least one year of college in political science and one year in business before being eligible to campaign for office.
CONGRESSIONAL OFFICES … Congress is paid a salary and they also receive certain benefits while holding office as a senator or representative in the House, to include the President and Vice President and the White House cabinet and staff. However, no legislation should be allowed that automatically provides pay raises, unless voting no to it; when instead, pay raises should be drafted as a bill, like other bills, so taxpayers can respond to that bill before it is passed. In addition, no elected official should be afforded the benefit of a retirement plan, other than that which he/she has paid into the Social Security system or privately funded investment programs. When they are out of office they are out into the private sector like the rest of us. If that is done, you could almost have a sure bet that the Social Security system would be reformed quickly or more quickly. Government employees should be afforded retirement programs that they pay into and copay by their employer (government) like programs in the private sector – no more free rides. In addition, government should not be overseen by unions, a private entity, who have inflated wages and salaries much higher than the average person in the same job in the private sector. Wages and salaries with benefits, for government civilian employees should be determined by national average of that particular career field, with incremental increases according to COLA – which also goes for Social Security, ensuring that the retirement benefit checks match the COLA and up-to-date. Congress should not be allowed to provide themselves a salary increase and/or benefit increase in terms of perks to allay personal costs while in Congress, until Social Security benefit checks match COLA, as well as the military receiving the same required increase in pay.
UNITED NATIONS … The United Nations no longer serves the best interest of the United States or its people, indeed, it is detrimental. Therefore, the United Nations should be informed that the United States will not longer support their agenda nor provide funding or troops, unless it is determined to be in the interest of the US and its citizens. If troops are approved to be sent in a coalition UN operation, no UN authority will be in charge of US troops, only the authority of US officers and general staff, under the command of the President of the United States – any actions requiring use of US military being approved by Congress first. In addition, the United Nations will be given notice of eviction from the United Nations building on our soil, which will be put up for sale to the highest bidder in the private sector. The United Nations will have to find another spot of real estate, as well as fund the building of another headquarters. The United States can no longer support a world body whose goal is to become a world government, where nations lose their sovereignty or support an entity that provides committees overseeing human rights stacked with members of nations who are violating human rights. The United Nations can no longer be considered seriously, unless it drastically reforms and promotes democracy instead of hypocrisy and denies entrance to its union as members, nations who have tyranny for government and violate the accords established by the world body known as the United Nations. It must provide incentives for nations to adopt a free nation that affords certain basic human rights and liberties that we enjoy here in America and some places in Europe, as well as Japan, Australia, New Zealand, et cetera.
LEGISLATION … Congress must NOT pass ANY legislation without first being reviewed by an constitutional oversight committee – and they also must research as to the short- and long-term impact that would occur if the bill is passed into legislation. In addition, there should be an oversight committee designated to review all legislation still on the books and determine if it is still viable or a waste of time and taxpayer funding. The repeal or amendment of legislation should coincide with constitutional law. No bill should have amendments added at the last minute and no amendments that do not pertain to the summary statement of its use and reasons for legislation. In other words, a senator cannot amend a military spending bill with a clause that provides his home state with a new bridge. It must be passed as a separate bill or a bill whose summary is similar and related. This will help prevent pork amendments to be added into bills and reduce the cost of government.
LOBBYING SYSTEM … Designed for the good of the People, to hire professionals to represent their cause or purpose or regresses to the legislative body called Congress through its members in the Senate and House. It is not an avenue of bribery, but a means to provide factual and viable reasons to the legislative body why certain legislation needs to be approved. It is not private businesses and corporation’s means to bribe or coerce the legislative body in any manner of form – direct payments, incentives, or gifts. If the people of their state want their state government to give them their constitutional rights of the Second Amendment, then they can orchestrate through a foundation or entity like the NRA to lobby the government for the change to take place. Congress should not cater to special interest groups, like insurance companies who want legislation that stacks the cards in their favor, while the citizens suffer the effects of legislation that is intrusive and unconstitutional.
FEDERAL RESERVE BANK … This powerful and uncontrolled (at least by the constitutional government) entity needs to be drastically reformed or dissolved and turn the business of banking and finances over to the private sector. Congress is the authority over monies and currency, not the staff at the Federal Reserve Bank. We have clearly seen what happens when the bailout funding checks were handed out – no one either knew or would tell or itemized where the one-half trillion dollars was spent or what checks it was made out to. In addition, it was revealed after a congressional hearing, that billions of dollars were sent to foreign banks like in Germany and France. The bailout was for America, not foreign nations. First of all, the bailouts should never have occurred. Government has no business taking over businesses, like the auto industry and controlling them by providing them bailout money. Government loans can be made, when necessary for the good of ALL, but it must be paid back in a given amount of time and the same interest rate the private citizen must pay at their bank. No more free rides. It causes financial institutions and banks to take unnecessary chances with the funds that people have paid into their system. In the same manner of approach, government needs to reduce its control and upon the private sector industry, financing, and manufacturing in order to provide incentive of the old fashioned way of success – hard work and innovative ideas turned into reality. This also means that we need to produce/educate better student graduates that will be operating these ventures and creating new ways of producing energy, less costly and more efficient.
FOREIGN POLICY … No more welfare checks to other nations, like the circumstance described above, for any reason other than disaster relief as a good neighbor policy – and then that relief will be in the form of blankets, food, clothing and other materials to help the people of that region or nation in dire need. The United States has had its share of disasters in the last decade, and our nation friends like Japan, Australia, and others have offered their hand in help. That's what friends are for. However, we have developed a policy where the United States attempts to purchase their friends – and it hasn't worked yet. In addition, we should not interfere with other nations and their political business, only providing advice if they wish to receive it – except in the case of aggression that will affect the interests of the American people and the United States.
MILITARY POWER … Our military has and must remain strong, just as our foreign policy must be fair, congenial (if allowed), and yet disciplined in dealing with other nations, friends or foe. Our military changed drastically since the end of the Cold War, as it should have. Our armed forces are now technologically advanced and smaller, but powerful strike forces to meet the demand and changes around us. However, we cannot spread that military too thin, or become the mercenaries or police force of other nations. We do need to tighten up our military budget in several areas, but still remain a strong deterrence against aggression and invasion of our soil and territorial concerns. In other words, not at the expense of our national security or trading and traveling rights around the globe. Recently, President Obama back-stabbed the only nation in the region who was willing to work peacefully with Israel, as well as friendly to the United States – Egypt. He is not doing well with Latin America nations either. Just like improving our education system, we need to elect people with experience and/or education in political science, sociology, and financing/business. If you think of it, a president, a senator, or representative – who truly wish to be statesmen or stateswomen – need to have a background that covers a lot of territory. Of course, their advisers (not CZARS) are there for a purpose, experts from every field that needs attention when operating our government; but he person also requires a sound sense of values, ethics, and good character. If mistakes, especially minor, have been made in the past and the person recognizes and corrects the action or policy – they must attempt to do so in good statesmanship manners, and most importantly, according to constitutional law.
TAXATION … Every government must have funds to operate, and the means to do so is to provide taxation. However, our constitution was produced to enable and maintain a limited government that allows the People to have the incentive and the means to excel in many areas and provide a robust economy, as well as a better way of life. The income tax must go and be replaced with a flat consumption tax provided by a bill called FairTax Act. The legislation would require the repeal of the 16^th Amendment and require another amendment to take its place that would put in place the Fair Tax, whose rules take up about 750 pages versus 14,000+ pages (and counting) of an unfair, intrusive and unconstitutional income tax system that takes money out of your earned paycheck whether you like it or not. Much cost is assumed by the government to provide the paperwork, the offices and agency of the IRS and the employees (who few of them understand it anymore than you do), force employers to be unpaid tax collectors, in fact it costs employers great deal of money to file the quarterly and annual tax code requirements. It is a mess that should never have happened, and put in place despite a ruling in 1911/1913 by the Supreme Court that it was an unlawful tax system. The only funds taken from your paycheck should be your retirement and Medicare funds for your use when reach retirement age. A consumption tax puts you more in charge of your budget, a word that Congress and the White House don't seem to comprehend or choose to ignore – budgeting. While we change our budget according to the difference between what is paid to us in wages, salaries and funding from self employment careers, the government instead of changing their budget, they demand more funds from the People. Wouldn't it be nice if the real world employees could do that with their employers? When FairTax is ironed out in the details and passed, scrutinized by the best economists we can find in America, the flat tax should be implemented so the first year of the consumption, sales/services tax would be a rate of 20%; the second year, 15%, and the third year at 10% – the same percentage as some religions call the tithe. No progressive rate required with consumption tax – those that make more tend to spend more, thus the “wealthy” automatically pay more and the People can budget their money to provide more money in regular savings, special savings, medical savings accounts and investment programs to supplement their Social Security checks and pay for their children's college expense. In addition to limiting spending and cutting back in the right places, this tax will boost the economy. In addition, when the bad times hit, government will be required to “re-budget” like the rest of us until it gets better. The attempt to change the tax code system has been going on since year 2002 – don't ya think its time to get it done?
NASA AND OTHER PROJECTS OF THE SAME CALIBER … We need to take the funds saved in other places like military and continue to advance in the space program in cooperation with other nations in an international space program venture for the benefit of all. While the Constitution encourages the advancement of the arts and sciences, we need to turn much of it over to private sector donations and funding, and provide incentives by deregulating much of what is holding science and technology back.
HEALTH CARE … Talked about quite a bit, and the so-called ObamaCare not only isn't going to work but will be the biggest spending boondoggle in American history – we just didn't pay attention to those nations who have already put it in place. It is a fact when someone is under such a program, they abuse the system by showing up at clinics and hospitals for every ache and pain, boosting the cost still higher. The cost of medicine itself has become expensive, partly due to mandate by government and the ridiculous TORT policy in our judiciary. One cannot open a Medical Savings Account if one is not already insured by a health care insurance entity – What's with that? What is the sense of putting money into a Medical Savings Account if the insurance company is eating away your paycheck. Think of all the insurance payments you need to make and then add them up – on the average they are higher than your mortgage and car payment combined. There is home insurance, life insurance, home liability insurance, and health care insurance that only pays 80% of the cost of a hospital visit who charges $500 for just walking into the emergency room (true story) without being attended to, and then the costs start escalating. For one emergency room visit, I was charged $2,000! I was only there for two hours at the most. I am definitely in the wrong business. First thing I would do is repeal ObamaCare and ensure it never rears its ugly head again, then remove all the costly offices, departments and agency that goes with it from government. Those employed in those departments will have to either transfer to another opening in another government agency, or do what everyone else does – put a resume together and start looking for employment. With the FairTax in place and other economical incentives (no more corporate “welfare”) – they should find another job quickly enough. Between 40% and 47% of American employment is in some form of government office, agency or department. That is Big Government, not a limited government – and it is costly and inefficient as its scope enlarges.
ELECTION PROCESS … Requires a serious reformation: (1) A private citizen or member of military must undergo a security background check if their job requires access to sensitive information or security positions; yet candidates for public office in the Congress and White House are not required to do so. Why? That must change, along with campaign financing and rules about donations. Violators must be prosecuted and removed from eligibility to run for office. We need oversight in this area, badly. Hillary Clinton's staff was caught – nothing was done, as well as other candidates for public office. Obama's funding was found to be coming from known affiliates of Islamic fascism, but the check was immediately returned. A campaign office has no control as to who tries to buy votes, but they can do what is right when received. The two-party system was designed to coincide with the Electoral College process via the Constitution. That process must be examined carefully. In addition, the media must have rights of the 1^st Amendment; however, they do not have the right to refuse the coverage of any candidate outside of the two-party system or determined to have a small percentage in poll numbers. How can a candidate get the public to notice him/her if they are blocked out by the media? Another problem needing resolution.

The American people who expect government reform must first reform themselves, a step toward reforming our society in general. The primary election is important and needs to be taken more seriously. It is the candidates that is supposed to be campaigning and getting support of the people to fit the need of the issues at hand with desire to solve issues and abide by the Constitution they must swear allegiance to and protect when beginning their term in office. Term limits are definitely in order and the removal of retirement benefits from public office elected officials as well. No one should receive retirement benefits after serving only four to eight years – name one employer that could possible do that? And stay in business. We need to upgrade our educational standards, especially in the area of science and mathematics. We need to focus upon academic curriculum, and if budget cuts are required, take it from the sports department first – while the ancient Greeks aptly proved that a sound body is a sound mind, we must not short-change our youth. Bring back teaching the classic subjects, somethings ancient are still applicable; in fact, its basic ideology was what inspired the drafting of the Constitution and putting together such a great government document between it and the People. We are a republic and should remain so. We do not need to emulate others, but others need to emulate our original system – not what it has become. Learn from our achievements, but also learn from our mistakes – don't repeat them, despite being in another form.

Education, and I cannot emphasize this enough, is important in ANY society in any nation, as well as family values; ironically the two intertwine. It is not the government's mission to raise OUR children, but instead it is the duty of parents, teachers, and community to encourage the best standards of achievement that can be presented – not, as our government thinks, money can buy. We need to encourage and stress upon our youth that education is NOT boring or a waste of time (although some teachers make it seem so). Unions do not belong in public schools that are operated by government; yet we must also pay teachers according to their abilities and background education; rewards for their untiring efforts to educate our youth and create better citizens. On the other hand, it is not the teacher's job or any educational administrator, to raise your child – it is the job of parents. There are too many singular “parent” out there. It is because that government and then society, has reduced the respect and the responsibility that comes with marriage and raising children. Citizens must make themselves responsible for their actions, but at the same time, government must allow citizens freedom of choice. Education is also a program of guidance, but it is not a means for government to instill their ideology upon our youth and socially engineer them, as they do the adults in their “entitlement” programs.

Americans and the United States did not become “great” by depending upon others or our government – they were resourceful, incentive knowing they could achieve goals if they were educated, innovative, and diligent. Imagine if the pioneers were “entitled” to government programs, instead of forging out on their own. Government policies have caused more misery than relief over the course of our history and the history of other governments in other nations.

It is a fact of life, in touch with reality, and not pipe dreams of an eloquently speaking politician who makes promises he/she cannot keep or never intends to keep when achieving the power they seek. Tyrants is what the American revolutionists fought against. Tyrants is what American patriots would not let them have their way. Tyrants inspired Thomas Jefferson and others to create a republic like no other republic ever before in human history. The idea may have come from ancient classical philosophy and forms of democracy as well as republics, but they pretty much perfected it. Yet, we still allow our elected officials to circumvent, our judiciary system to legislate from the bench, and allow our national leadership to urinate on our backs, believing them when they say it is raining.

America is still a wonderful place, a great place; but We the People must ensure it remains great and reform it and ourselves.

Supply and demand governs prices, not government. It is the way of the business world, so if we want to improve the economy and make prices more affordable do we side with government intrusion and Big Government policies, or revert to Jefferson's republic which makes the Constitution and the rights/liberties of the People, By the People and For the People the priority over all, especially foreign national interests OR stand up and say we have had enough and demand action or the politicians can find another career.

Voting and education is also intertwined,, it is why Mr. Jefferson stressed upon education for all Americans to the highest possible degree. Educated people, those with knowledge of the Jeffersonian republic system and its laws, can make decisions and not be swayed by smooth-talking politicians and can choose to ignore TV ads that merely put down the other candidate instead of addressing what they are bringing to the table – those citizens who vote responsibly through research of candidate's values, character, and past performance. Out of 57 nations, we were, in 2006, 35^th place. I haven't researched it, but I doubt if we have moved up the line very far.

We need to not enforce “No Child Left Behind” – citizens should be afforded the opportunity to opt out of the ridiculous program that doesn't work. Government is misinformed when they think that putting more funds into a bad system will make it better – it is just more funds to be wasted.

Put the FairTax flat tax system in place – and repeal any tax that is above the national consumption tax. Tobacco, alcohol, and obesity incentives (heavy tax on “junk” food) is not right or constitutional. The people must decide about those legal products, not the government or the elite that runs it. Insurance companies charge higher premiums, because of the health issues of those products, so let them provide incentive to be conservative with the use of “junk” food, tobacco and alcoholic beverages. After all, any doctor will tell you that wine and beer in moderate consumption is not harmful and proves to aid in a health plus, especially wine. But one can get their anti-oxidant content from simple non-alcoholic grape juice.

If home schooling and private schools are working to improve education, then get out of their way (government). If public schools don't want to be left behind, they better emulate the competition and do what works, not what some political correct panel or administrative moron dictates.

Stand up America. Make a vow to make change. Start with your life and work your way up. In the meantime, do your homework and use your power of the vote – and it IS a power, don't let anyone tell you different.

As we enter the year which will make or break America as we know it, I wish to remind all of you that We Are Family. Together, we took the House, and together we must take the White House.

In my travels across our great land, six times on national "Our Country Deserves Better" and "Tea Party Express" bus tours, I have been blown away by you -- your dignity, your sense of right and wrong/good and evil, your love for America, and your desire to see all Americans succeed.

I have been moved by your passion to save America. After the initial round of Tea Parties, which were themed "our country is moving in the wrong direction and something must be done about it," you began taking action: organizing, writing books, making informative videos, writing songs, and designing games to teach our kids the Constitution. I am so proud of you guys.

In my travels, I have heard countless stories about how Obama's economy has devastated lives. But to their credit, these patriots are surviving as best as they can while diligently working in our divinely inspired Tea Party movement.

In his book, Nothing Is Easy, author Gary Paduch coined the phrase "Classic Americans" -- people who were tough and hardworking, who did whatever needed to be done without complaining. "Classic Americans" best describes my wonderful Tea Party brothers and sisters whom I have met across America.

Because I have come to know who Tea Party folks truly are, it infuriates me when the liberal media and Obama sycophants intentionally misrepresent you. You guys are my family. My deceased Momma taught me that you never allow anyone to "dis" your family.

This is why every time I have a national microphone -- CNN, Fox News, etc. -- I defend my Tea Party family against evil, divisive, racist, and absurd lies. Thus, I called NAACP President Ben Jealous a liar on national TV. Jealous said he saw signs at a Tea Party which read, "Lynch Barack Obama" and "Lynch Eric Holder." If these two signs existed, they would be posted everywhere. To date, no one on the planet has seen these signs other than Jealous. Jealous' lie is evil, divisive, and meant to inspire racial hatred for the Tea Party. Jealous should be ashamed of himself. A Congressional Black Caucus member said that Tea Party people want to see blacks hung from a tree. How outrageous, stupid, and evil. I have no respect for such peddlers of hate.

I have written about the white Texas cowboy I met at a Tea Party who was the proud father of two black babies he and his wife had adopted. Then there was the terminally ill Tea Party white lady in Michigan whose daughter told us her mom said she wanted to meet me before she died. These people have nothing against a black man being in the White House. They are simply saying "no" to Obama's socialistic agenda. Obama minions trashing and misrepresenting these good people is despicable politics.

As every family, we have feuds. I still haven't forgiven my brother for being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. For crying out loud, he lives in our hometown, Baltimore -- support the Ravens!

The liberal media loves to make a big deal about Tea Party infighting. Well, the truth of the matter is that wherever there are human beings, there will be disagreements -- even in church. I believe that Billy Graham said if you find a perfect church, do not join, because you will mess it up.
So yes, our Tea Party family will disagree on various issues. And when you think about it, this is great. It confirms that we are intelligent, independent thinkers, as opposed to the emotion-driven, mind-numb idiots so prevalent in left-wing circles.

I wish to encourage my Tea Party family to stick together. I also wish to remind you who is the true enemy of freedom, liberty, and all we hold dear. His name is Barack Hussein Obama.

Brothers and sisters, this election is unique. It is not politics as usual -- the Dems having their turn recklessly spending our money, and then the Repubs having their turn. The stakes are far higher than that. This election is about stopping a man who is committed to ending America as we know it. Therefore, any of our flawed candidates is better than four more years of Obama.

Good Lord, the Obama administration admitted that it does not care about the working-class white vote. They are going after the deadbeats, the haters, the class-envy crowd -- as many as they can drag out of bed, pay ten bucks, put on buses, and drive to the polls to vote for Obama eight or nine times.
This is serious business, folks. Obama must be stopped.

If not, the concept of Classic Americans (tough, hardworking, and doing whatever needs to be done without complaining) will be lost forever. Obama is aggressively transforming us into a Needy Everyone is Equal America.

A third party, not voting at all, or any other nonsense will insure Obama's re-election and the end of America. I implore each and every member of my Tea Party family to rally around whoever becomes our Republican nominee.

Georgia Judge Considered 'Default' Against Obama

Attorneys who argued in a Georgia court this week that Barack Obama isn’t eligible to be president say Administrative Law Judge Michael Malihi considered granting a default judgment before they even argued the case.

That presumably could have recommended that Obama failed to prove his eligibility and therefore should not be on the 2012 ballot, since he and his lawyer snubbed the hearing, for which Obama was subpoenaed.

But the attorneys argued against such an easy victory on the point of the single hearing, expressing instead their desire to get the evidence concerning Obama’s eligibility or lack of it in the record, so that it would be there should the case elevate to an appellate level.

The attorneys also said the strategy decision by Obama to simply ignore the subpoena and the hearing may ultimately backfire, because judges typically aren’t pleased to listen to arguments from someone who wants to introduce evidence during an appeal.

Mitt Romney has raised the issue of Newt Gingrich's "work product."

Wow.

Intended to prod the former Speaker on the issue of his work for Freddie Mac (Gingrich last night released his contract with Freddie), the question, as seems to be a Romney characteristic, has clumsily backfired. It raises an all-too obvious question that is becoming increasingly revealing.

What is Mitt Romney's "work product" for the conservative cause?

The closest Mitt Romney ever got to the Reagan Revolution is apparently because he reads about it 30 years later. And he isn't even reading everything he should. This is the man, remember, who proudly professed when running against Ted Kennedy in 1994:

"I was an independent during the time of Reagan-Bush. I'm not trying to return to Reagan-Bush"

A peculiar stance considering Reagan carried Massachusetts twice in his two presidential landslides. Romney now assures that Newt Gingrich -- who actually had a serious and considerably well-known role working with Reagan -- had little role in it. (By the way, Reagan won over 1, 310, 936 votes and over 51 percent in Massachusetts in his 1984 re-election race, while Romney won his solitary gubernatorial victory in 2002 with 1,091,988 votes and 49.77 percent. Which is to say, Reagan outpolled Romney by over 200,000. In 1980, third party candidate John Anderson drew off 15 percent of Reagan's vote, otherwise, one suspects, Reagan would have trumped Romney then as well.)

Why? Why is Romney going after Gingrich on his supposed lack of Reagan ties?

Two AT writers attended yesterday's hearing in Georgia over President Obama's eligibility for the presidential ballot. Cindy Simpson writes:

President Obama has a habit of turning his back and walking away from those with whom he disagrees, as recently discovered by Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. Professor John Lott, in an interview with Teri O'Brien, recalled similar experiences with Obama while at the University of Chicago.

Ms. O'Brien commented to Professor Lott: "Gods don't debate. They just issue decrees."

And apparently they also tend to place themselves above the law.

On January 26, I was in Atlanta to observe the hearings on the challenges to Obama's eligibility to appear on Georgia's 2012 ballot. In two previous American Thinker blog posts, "The Birthers Went Down to Georgia" and "Georgia on Obama's Mind," I described the content and history of the cases.

The courtroom was crowded to maximum capacity; however, the table for the defense was notably vacant. The defendant, Obama himself, was also not in attendance, even though the judge last week refused to quash the subpoena requesting his presence. Judge Michael Malihi, in his denial, stated:

Will Obama Ignore Subpoena To Appear in A Georgia Courtroom on January 26 To Prove His Eligibility For the Ballot?

(1) Barack Obama has been subpoenaed to appear in a Georgia court and present a multitude of documents to prove his eligibility before allowing his name to be placed on the March ballot. Multiple plaintiffs with standing have filed suit. The hearing will be held this Thursday, January 26. Judge Malihi has rebuffed the defendant's claim that he should not be compelled to appear. Obama argues the he is, after all, "the President". I guess we should appreciate how very busy he has been partying, campaigning, vacationing or golfing. He couldn't possibly spare one day in a Georgia courtroom.

(2) Judge Malihi has allowed New Jersey attorney, Leo Donofrio's, Amicus Brief to be added to the group of documents which the court may or may not consider in its final ruling. The brief painstakingly argues against Obama's eligibility using extensive historical and judicial precedents. Donofrio does not represent any of the plaintiffs.

(3) The left-wing media's sloppy use of the word "birther" in articles like the one below indicate either an ignorance of the facts, or a deliberate attempt to distract from the underpinning issue surrounding Barack Obama's eligibility, which has nothing to do with his birth certificate. Indeed, the most important issue is whether or not a person born in the U.S. to one or more foreign parents meets the historical meaning of the term "natural born citizen". By Obama's own admission, his father was a British subject of Kenyan descent.

(4) In addition to Obama, there are numerous politicians who also are not qualified, including Republicans Marco Rubio and Bobby Jindal. Also, if the parents of South Carolina Governor, Nikki Haley, were not naturalized citizens when Nikki was born, then she would not be qualified. Questions arise about Mitt Romney because his father was born in Mexico.

By all means, read the left-wing article, but most importantly I hope you will read as much of the brief as possible so that you will fully understand the constitutional quandry we are facing. If we had fully understood the intent of our founders before the 2008 election cycle, Barack Obama would not be in the Oval Office today.

Obama Birther Case in Georgia Unlikely To Bring The President, Despite Judge's Order

The White House appears prepared to ignore a recent ruling by Georgia Deputy Chief Judge Michael Malihi that would require President Obama to attend a birther hearing in Fulton County, Ga., on Thursday.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney outlined Barack Obama's weekly agenda on Monday, noting that the president is scheduled to hit Las Vegas, Denver and Detroit on Thursday in a whirlwind tour to talk middle class job creation.

That's not likely to sit well with Malihi, who last week rejected an effort by Obama's legal team to quash a subpoena that would require president appear in court that day. The complaint, like many others of its kind, claims Obama isn't a natural-born citizen and therefore can't be president.

Leadership: A great debater. Politically polarizing. Prone to great error, but also prone to spectacular success. Steeped in history. Politically brilliant. Unorthodox. Audacious.

All these qualities were once used to describe Winston Churchill. Today, you might use the same words to describe Newt Gingrich. Sound absurd? Not when you think about it.

Churchill, like Gingrich, was a brilliant politician with a powerful sense of the occasion.

Sometimes prickly, often witty, but never dull, his career had lots of ups and downs — ranging from being blamed for the disastrous Gallipoli campaign in World War I to being credited as the father of the British welfare state — not exactly a compliment among conservatives, then or now.

Indeed, by Churchill's own admission, "The Conservatives have never liked nor trusted me." The same thing can be said of Gingrich, who has had a tortured relationship with the GOP's conservative wing, to say the least.

And yet, when his nation called on him to lead in 1940, Churchill was ready — the right man for the right time. With America's government under President Obama moving rapidly to the extreme left, Gingrich too might be the right man for the right time.

A Georgia judge has refused a demand from Barack Obama to quash a subpoena to appear at a series of administration hearings Jan. 26 at which residents of the state are challenging, as allowed under a state law, his name on the 2012 presidential ballot.

WND reported this week when Obama outlined a defense strategy for a number of state-level challenges to his candidacy in 2012 which argue that states have nothing to do with the eligibility of presidential candidates.

"Presidential electors and Congress, not the state of Georgia, hold the constitutional responsibility for determining the qualifications of presidential candidates," Obama's lawyer argued in a motion to quash a subpoena for him to appear at the hearings in Atlanta Jan. 26.

"The election of President Obama by the presidential electors, confirmed by Congress, makes the documents and testimony sought by plaintiff irrelevant," the lawyer said.

Judge Michael M. Malihi, however, took a different view.

"Defendant argues that 'if enforced, [the subpoena] requires him to interrupt duties as president of the United States' to attend a hearing in Atlanta, Georgia. However, defendant fails to provide any legal authority to support his motion to quash the subpoena to attend," he wrote in his order, released today.

New Team Obama Re-Election Gimmick: Is America a Post-Racial Society?

Suddenly, there is a lot of discussion about whether or not we live in a "post-racial society." With the 2012 presidential election right around the corner, I can only conclude that, despicably, "race-baiting" will be a major component of the left's and the White House's Obama re-election campaign.

Recently, a black publication interviewed me for an article, the topic being "Is America a post-racial society?" Then, flipping through the TV channels, I caught a bit of two blacks on CNN discussing whether or not America is a post-racial society. It's coming up everywhere lately.

I am just giving you a heads-up, folks. All this talk about a post-racial society, which sounds like it came out of a marketing strategy meeting, is designed simply to accuse all who are against Obama's re-election of being non-post-racial. In other words, racist.

The post-racial discussion is absurd, divisive, and a waste of time -- a distraction from real issues. The fact that America elected a black man to be leader of the free world confirms that Americans think post-racially. Blacks are only 12% of the U.S. population. Even if every black in America voted for Obama, without millions of white votes, Obama would not have been elected. Are we a post-racial society? Of course we are.

What I find so repulsive is that the left and the Obama administration are well aware of this truth. And yet, they will, without hesitation or conscience, double down on their efforts to inspire black hatred against white Tea Partiers and fuel white guilt to achieve their goals.

I witnessed a moving example of our post-racial society while watching a pro football playoff game on TV. Upon winning the game, black football player Vernon Davis, with tears running down his face, ran over to his white coach, Jim Harbaugh. Davis cried as he and Harbaugh hugged for a long time. They were just two men: a respected coach and a respected player. Race did not matter. America is a post-racial society.

Only agenda-driven knuckleheads design new tactics to keep Americans apart, suspicious of one another, and at each other's throats along racial lines.

Now, do not get me wrong. I am not saying racism, on both sides, does not exist in America. Of course, it does, along with every other sin. Such will be the case until the Lord takes us home. But as a nation, the American people have proven themselves honorable, fair-minded, compassionate, and extremely generous.

The '60s TV series Star Trek was an excellent example of a "post-racial society." The crew was of various races and yet they related to each other as individuals. Race was irrelevant.

I love the way the left always accuses us, the American people, of the evils of which they are guilty. We do not sit around thinking of phony intellectual-sounding phrases such as "post-racial society." We simply live, work, and play together as Americans. The left and black Liberal Plantation overlords are the ones guilty of thinking "non"-post-racially for political purposes. Their exploitation of race continues to devastate blacks in terms of their attitudes and expectations. Black race profiteers are betraying their own people by convincing them that they are victims, despite being blessed to be born in the greatest land of opportunity on the planet. For crying out loud, I caught one of those Hollywood insider TV shows talking about some black rapper's ninety-million-dollar fragrance line. Black unemployment being at an unprecedented high has nothing to do with white America's views on race and everything to do with Obama's economy.

All of this absurd post-racial talk confirms that most-assuredly, the Obama administration and his minions plan to exploit race, along with class envy, in Obama's reelection campaign. This is why the left has been relentless in their attempts to brand the Tea Party racist. Tea partiers oppose Socialism and ignoring the Constitution, not Obama's skin color.

As a post-racial-thinking American, I am doing everything in my power to make Barack Hussein Obama a one-term president, and not because he is black. Obama must go because his vision for our future is an anathema to all we hold dear and the vision of our Founding Fathers.

If I can offer one bit of heartfelt advice to my fellow black Americans who may be caught up in all of this post-racial vs. non post-racial nonsense, please, forget about race and simply go for your dreams.

Particular passages didn't sit too comfortably with Jefferson - including miracles such as the virgin birth, the resurrection and ascension.

So in 1820, following his two terms as president, Jefferson took a razor blade to six other volumes and patched together his favourite passages before having it bound.

Entitled The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth, containing 84 pages, it leaves out key moments to the Christian faith - including the holy ghost and holy trinity.

The Smithsonian said Jefferson left out the passages which he believed to be 'contrary to reason'.

Jefferson drew from all four gospels of the New Testament in Greek, Latin, French and English to tell the story of Jesus' life.

The original book had the passages laid out in four columns and handwritten notes in the margins before the pages were bound into a red Moroccan leather cover.

The Tebow Effect

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Tim Tebow is an unapologetic, outspoken born-again Christian. No politically correct, careful not to offend anyone, skirting around the issue of his faith for Tebow. When interviewed after winning a game, Tebow says, "First, I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

Numerous pro athletes are Christians. None have been so innocently bold about expressing their faith as Tebow. It is as if when Tebow entered the national stage, he never got the memo sent by the left stating that God is banned from the public square, and anyone who dares speak of God will be branded a religious nutcase. Tebow simply loves Jesus and sees no reason to hide it. Thus, the left hopes that Tebow fails as a quarterback and a role model.

Oh, I just got a thought. Wouldn't the mainstream media be celebrating and rallying around Tebow if he proclaimed that he was in love with and planned to marry a fellow teammate? Imagine the major TV network bidding war for the rights to broadcast the wedding nationwide.

Meanwhile, the left has deemed Tebow proclaiming his love for Jesus offensive. A blogger called Tebow the most polarizing figure in America. Several TV shows promote homosexuality. Another TV show promotes Islam. And yet, Tebow mentioning Jesus is considered polarizing.

Tebow is not polarizing/dividing people. Tebow is bringing people together. Remarkably, Tebow fans are all races, ranging in ages from eight to eighty.

Folks, I am telling you. There is something uniquely special about this fine young man, Tim Tebow. Cultural rot is eating away at our country like a terminal cancer. Our boys aspire to look and act like thugs. Women are dressing themselves and their daughters without modesty.

Unintentionally and, I believe, unknown to him, Tebow appears to be leading a movement toward a miracle cure: returning Christian values and principles from many years of exile. More and more pro athletes and politicians are boldly speaking about their faith on national TV. We are witnessing the birth of The Tebow Effect.

Tebow is making it cool to be a "good guy" again. He has sparked a national dialog in the secular arena regarding faith.

Christian broadcasting networks do a wonderful job. But rarely these days do we see anyone speak as comfortably and as matter-of-factly about his faith as Tebow in "secular" settings. Tebow is not trying to start a movement, nor is he trying to offend. The kid is simply being himself, and people are following his example.

God is so awesomely cool. The Bible says God uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Who could have imagined that God would use something as foolish as a twenty-something-year-old kid, playing football, having fun, and being himself, to inspire millions?

Tragically, many Americans have accepted incidents of terminating a sixty-year tradition of opening their town's spring festival or city council meeting with prayer because one person complained. Many have accepted their children being forced to say "happy winter break" because "Christmas" is declared to have offensive religious connotations. At secular events where prayer is allowed, clergy are cautioned to refrain from using the name of Jesus for fear of offending someone. Yes, the left has done a pretty good job of intimidating Christians into not honoring Jesus in secular settings.

Then, along comes this superstar football player cheerfully spouting the name of Jesus all over the place. The anti-Christian crowd who thought they had us Christians securely under their thumb are furious. Who does this Tebow guy think he is, and does he know the rules?

I believe that Tebow is passively leading us back to a time when all things Christian were not attacked, demeaned, ridiculed, or made fun of. Many years ago, secular companies produced movies like Boys Town, in which Father Flanagan was the hero. Nowadays, though, can you name a recent movie produced by a secular company which features Christians in a positive light? Remember the grief Mel Gibson caught from the anti-Christian community for following the biblical account of events in producing his movie, The Passion of The Christ?

When I was a kid, my family loved watching the Red Skelton TV comedy show. Skelton would end every show saying, "Good night and may God bless." Today, letters from a few non-Christians claiming to be offended would prompt the show producers to instruct Skelton to cease ending his show with a "prayer."

Tebow represents a paradigm change -- a new sense of freedom to say "Praise God!" in secular settings. I love it!

New TV Show Idea: The All-American Christian

I have a GREAT idea! How about a TV show titled, “The All-American Christian”? Christians have been getting a bum rap in cinema and the mainstream media for quite a while. In a spirit of fairness, compassion and tolerance, a TV show promoting Christianity is simply the right thing to do. After all, the last thing we need are Christian-phobic Americans.

We must educate Americans to realize Christianity is a religion of peace. Christians are not anti-American. The TV show will confirm Christians are not much different than you and me and just as patriotic. Also, Christians would never attempt to force Biblical Law down our throats.

Now, where can I find fair minded, tolerant and compassionate celebrities who will enthusiastically support and speak in defense of the show. I know! Russell Simmons, Bill Maher and Rosie O'Donnell are a good start. These guys are all about fairness, tolerance and compassion. I am extremely confident they will leap at an opportunity to fairly portray Christianity.

Christians are not rioting, seeking to physically punish offenders or lobbying to make it illegal to speak against their religion. Thus, beheading non-believers who reject their religion is not in the Christian recruitment manual. As a matter of fact, the founder of Christianity said, “With loving kindness have I drawn thee”.

Rosie O'Donnell, great advocate of women rights that she is, will surely love this. Christian women are not forced to be subservient to men. Under no circumstance does Christianity condone a husband beating, stoning or beheading his wife. A Christian woman is pretty much free to be all-she-can-be from a mom to governor of Alaska to president of the United States. Believe it or not, a Christian woman can even venture outside without having her head covered and face veiled. Thus, it makes perfect sense that the American Feminist Movement would rally around Christianity. Right?

I can not think of a single group of people Christians seek to remove from the planet. While more than 18,167 deadly terrorist attacks, since 9-11, have been carried out in the name of another religion, zero attacks, since 9-11, have happened in the name of Christianity. We know the American left is all about peace; “all we are saying is give peace a chance” and so on. One can only conclude that Christianity's non-violent track record wins their endorsement. Correct?

Unfortunately, Christianity does not have a “lying clause”. Another religion has a privilege authorized in its holy book called, “Taqiyya” which means never-feeling-guilty-for-lying. In other words, Taqiyya makes it permissible to lie to protect their religion. Common sense tells us that anything these people say about the intentions and motives of their religion should be taken with a grain of salt. Meanwhile, Christians are stuck with “Thy shall not lie.”

It is truly tragic that Bibles, after school Bible studies and prayer at school sporting events are being banned from public schools. Christian graduates are commanded to censor all references to God and especially “Jesus” from their commencement speeches. And yet, nationwide special concessions are being made for another religion; installing foot bathing facilities and etc.

By the way, our government has sponsored the defacing of Christian icons. A photo of a crucifix submerged in a glass of urine was funded by the NEA (National Endowment of the Arts). The award winning photo is titled, “Piss Christ”. The Brooklyn Museum of Art, despite considerable controversy, exhibited the Holy Virgin Mary painted with elephant dong.

Christians are legally fighting the court ordered removal of crosses which have been displayed on sites for many years, one out in the middle of nowhere. Nativity scenes are becoming more and more taboo in public schools and government buildings. Our kids no longer go on Christmas break from school. It is now called Winter Fest-a-something or other.

Some paranoid conspiracy theorists say Christianity has infiltrated high levels of our government. Rumor has it that even President Obama is a Christian. However, this rumor is yet to be confirmed. I wish to go on record stating that I am not Christian-phobic. America was unarguably founded on Biblical principles. Therefore, I am completely comfortable with Christians influencing our government.

We can count on Secretary of State Hilary Clinton to aggressively work to make Christian-phobia punishable by law the way she is for another religion.

So yes, the timing is perfect for an “All-American Christian” TV show. I am sure Hilary, Obama and all those compassionate tolerant Hollywood types will enthusiastically join in our effort to get out the truth about Christianity- a virtuous, misunderstood and wonderful religion of peace.

Folks, this is gonna be great! I am soooooo excited. For the debut of the “All-American Christian” TV show, I wonder if we can get Tim Tebow to make a special guest appearance. Wouldn't that be awesome?

By avoiding the contentious question of Obama's "natural born" eligibility, America's academic establishment has also stifled discussion on the inextricably related issue of citizenship law in our country, in the greater context of immigration reform.

The first instance of academia's cloak-throwing was noted in an American Thinker

article which described the revision made by Professor Larry Solum to his scholarly paper that addressed Senator McCain's eligibility, "Originalism and the Natural Born Citizenship Clause." The original version was published in 2008. Without saying it explicitly in his footnote of explanation, Solum's revision implied, subtly, that he also supported the eligibility of Obama, with his one citizen parent instead of two -- yet Solum did not include citations or references that defended his rationale for the change, nor has he published papers since that discussed this aspect of the issue.

Solum's unsupported rewriting was mentioned again in the more recent article, "The Great American Memory Hole." That column also described the strange and related story of "JustiaGate" -- the "mangling" of text and citations, for approximately a three-year period beginning mid-2008, on Justia's database for 25 Supreme Court decisions that directly cited the particular case of Minor v Happersett. It so happens that Minor contains a succinct definition of "natural born" citizenship (essentially, born in the country to citizen "parents," plural) that attorney Leo Donofrio contends represents binding precedent. In addition to the anomalies noted at Justia, Donofrio discovered a complete block of relevant text missing from Ex Parte Lockwood at Cornell -- a case that Donofrio argues further proves his assertion that Minor's statements on citizenship are binding precedent vs. dicta.

For the first time in dozens of court cases challenging Barack Obama’s eligibility to be president, a judge has ruled that Obama must, in order to be a candidate on the Georgia ballot for president in 2012, meet the constitutional demands for candidates for the office.

A hearing has been scheduled later this month for evidence on the issue that has plagued Obama and his presidency since long before he took office. At issue is the constitutional requirement that a president be a “natural-born citizen.” Some allege he was not born in the U.S. as he has claimed and, therefore, is not eligible.

Others, including top constitutional expert Herb Titus, contend that the term "natural-born citizen," which is not defined in the Constitution, would have been understood when the document was written to mean the offspring of two U.S. citizens. That argument is supported by a 19th-century U.S. Supreme Court Decision.

Six months ago, I returned home to discover a family had moved into my backyard storage shed. Displaying an incredible sense of entitlement and off the chain arrogance, the family refused to leave, arguing they were simply seeking a better life. Adding insult to injury, their TV, computers and etc were powered by an electrical cord plugged into the exterior outlet of my home.

Infuriated, I immediately sought help from law enforcement to remove the squatters from my property. After inquiring about the race of my intruders, law enforcement accused me of racism. Law enforcement declined to assist me. I yelled, “These people are breaking the law! What about my rights as a property owner?”

Law Enforcement scolded me, “Don't try to hide your racism behind the law!”

I returned home frustrated to witness more of the trespasser's family and friends setting up residency in my backyard. One invader brought an old piece of crap RV. My Home Owner's Association is fining me daily until its removal. There are tents and people living in an old Chevy station-wagon; all powered by a dangerous poor imitation of a MacGyver style electrical hookup into my power including a maze of electrical cords.

To stop further invasion, armed buddies volunteered to secure my fence, take turns keeping watch. Local media caught wind of my buddies sympathetic generous offer and branded them an angry racist mob of vigilantes. Law enforcement threatened my buddies with arrests if they intervened in any way.

With city elections only a few months away, the mayor showed up at my home with fruit baskets for the invaders. His honor assured the invaders that he supported their honorable pursuit of a better life 100% and would not tolerate the “racist” property owner (me), evicting them. After the thunderous applause subsided, the mayor's assistant made sure each invader filled out a voter registration form which he collected before the mayor and his entourage departed.

So, here I am. My monthly electric bill has tripled. Cited for code violations, I was forced to install more outlets and electrical power. My backyard landscape with my wife's prize-winning flower garden is now a mud-pit resembling a scene from the movie, “Woodstock”. Invaders now occupy every inch of our exterior property.

Local media continually write stories about what a cruel, heartless, evil and racist SOB I am for not providing food for my “guests” and adding them to my health insurance.

Upon returning home from school, we keep our kids in the house. Our neighborhood has become unsafe and in rapid decline; selling drugs and lord knows what illegal activities are taking place in our backyard.

The Home Owner's Association sent a petition to the city demanding they do something to stop the invasion spreading all over our community. In response, the city is suing us. The local media has joined the city in their effort to portray us as racists who are somehow breaking the law.

Unbelievably, to assist the invaders, the city has raised our taxes to provide by-lingual signage throughout our community, food, education and health care for our “guests”.

Please understand. Our history of swiftly coming to the aid of people in need around the world confirms that my neighbors and I are a charitable, generous and compassionate people. Thus, we wholeheartedly support anyone seeking a better life.

But, there is a right and wrong way of doing things. An illegal invasion is not the correct way. It is also immoral to send a message that it is acceptable to break our laws; a slap in the face to all who play by the rules.

What happened to “equal justice for all”? Law enforcement and government lending a deaf ear to lawbreakers for political reasons is the worse kind of corruption. Their motives are not about compassion, but rather securing potential new voters. Such a self-serving exploitation of power is shameful, despicable and ugly. How can my city, with a straight face, instruct kids to obey the law and not sell drugs when the city decides to enforce laws based on their agenda or the race of the offender?

Got to run, the Spot-O-Potty delivery guys have arrived. Yes, it is another expense, but it is worth it.

Herman Cain: A Final Word

I would not blame Herman Cain if he said, Lloyd, I know you mean well brother. However, the relentless vitriolic media attacks against me have finally subsided since I dropped out of the presidential race. My family and I are finally having some peace. So, why on earth would you bring up my name again?

Well, in a nut shell, I just did not like the way the whole “Cain Thing” went down. Also, we live in a fast paced news cycle, carelessly nuke a person's life and in two days everyone has moved on, disposable world. Herman Cain's courageous bid to serve his country deserves more than, “Cain, wasn't he the black dude sex fanatic who ran for president as a Republican?”

OK, Cain is gone and we conservatives must focus on selecting our candidate to defeat Obama in 2012. I got it. But, it breaks my heart seeing what happened to this “good man”. Cain was attacked from both sides of the aisle. A few conservative pundits even accused Cain of not seriously seeking the Oval Office, but simply seeking self-promotion.

Please do not get me wrong. I realize playing with the big boys in the national arena is tough. I just did not realize how much tougher and blatantly unfair it is for conservatives. As a conservative seeking to win the Republican presidential nomination, Cain endured a deep rectal vetting not even required of our current president. As a matter of fact, we still know very little about Obama's history.

Obama is a liberal. Thus, the liberal media deems probing Obama's history, associations and even using his middle name to be racist.

As a black conservative myself, I was excited about black America meeting Herman Cain – a brilliant black businessman who loves God and country. Cain's message was a refreshing breath of fresh air; a striking contrast to the absurd victim/entitlement minded garbage coming out of the mouths of too many successful rich blacks who say - Yes, we are multimillionaires, but America is still racist, sucks and owes us.

Unfortunately, here is how this great black role model was introduced to much of black America. My 84 year old dad phoned me, “Do you know this Herman McCain who is involved in all these sex scandals?” I replied, “His name is Herman Cain, dad”. I then proceeded to tell my dad about the great man I know.

Think about this folks, Cain's candidacy and reputation, in the minds of many, was destroyed by unproven “he said, she said” allegations. Please do not come back at me arguing about whether or not Cain was qualified for the office. I am not talking about that. I am talking about the no-holds-barred, nothing-is-off-limits or over-the-top relentless campaign to destroy this decent man.

Good Lord, the allegations went from “possible” sexual gestures to Cain supposedly forcibly reaching under a woman's skirt. Since Cain has dropped out of the race, all of his accusers are gone. Imagine that.

Something has gone terribly wrong in our country folks. Meanwhile, the mainstream liberal media are deaf, dumb and blind regarding all of the huge elephants in America's living room unfavorable to Obama. Why? Because Obama is their rare Teflon ticket to making all of their progressive, anti-America and socialistic dreams come true.

While I “feel” for brother Cain, I am fully confident Herman Cain will be OK. Remember, Cain beat cancer. Using his faith, character and infectious optimism, Cain will find a way to make extraordinary lemonade using the Left's lemons (their evil attacks against him).

Wow, I may have just come up with a brilliant Capitalistic, sorry Occupiers, entrepreneurial marketing idea. Famous Amos sells his cookies, Rush Limbaugh sells his tea; how about Herman Cain Lemonade?

Brother Cain, I just want to say one more time how much millions of us truly appreciated and thank you for stepping up to save our great country. You led the pack for a reason, your business sense, optimism, character and love for America. You and your family remain in our prayers.

Another reason I know Cain will be OK is because referring to Christians, the Bible says, “No weapon formed against us shall prosper”.

I am sure the Left, Obama administration and the liberal media were dancing to the classic Martha Reeves and the Vandellas hit song, “Dancing In the Street”, the day Cain withdrew from the race. But mark my words, God “ain't” done with Herman Cain. Not only will his extraordinary life and story continue to positively impact millions, his success will reach unprecedented levels.

Take that you arrogant godless left-wingers. Lemonade anyone?

As a junior congressman, Newt founded the Conservative Opportunity Society (COS), a group of activist members of Congress whose goal was to challenge the liberal welfare state but whose first target was the Republican establishment in the House of Representatives. The “old bulls” who dominated the party in the House had become quite comfortable in their minority status and saw little chance they would ever become a majority. Newt and the COS knew that, to create a true conservative agenda, the party needed to focus on becoming a majority. We used the House floor and C-SPAN to promote our ideas. We attacked spending bills and efforts to expand government, some of which the establishment had endorsed. It reacted by telling newly elected members to stay away from those COS guys because they are trouble.

Some may say, for crying out loud, Lloyd. You're as bad as Tebow. Must you always interject God and the Bible into everything? Well folks, it is just who I am.

Canaan was God's “Promised Land” to the Israelites. Upon their arrival, Moses sent twelve spies to check out the land. All twelve spies reported that the land was beautiful and awesome. Ten of the twelve spies fearfully said the land was possessed by giants which they could never defeat. Only two spies believed they could defeat the giants and claim the land which God had promised to them. Interestingly, God described the lack of faith by the ten spies not simply as negative, but evil.

Brother and sister tea party patriots, I believe Divine Providence inspired the Tea Party movement to restore America from it's path of cultural and moral rot. Thus, we have the power to take back America, which was founded on Biblical Principles, from the Progressives, Socialists, Communists, Marxists and Occupiers.

The “giants” in our scenario are an anti-America president Obama with a billion dollars to spend on his lie-filled reelection campaign, and a sycophant liberal mainstream media openly committed to his reelection and goals.

Please do not misinterpret what I am about to say. I am not endorsing Michele Bachmann or any candidate for that matter. But I heard a conservative say, “No, we absolutely cannot select Bachmann because she is unelectable!” I ask, Why is Bachmann unelectable? What has Bachmann said or done that is so crazy or stupid? What did I miss?

In reality, because the “giants”-- i.e., the mainstream media – have labeled Bachmann “extreme”, conservatives fearful of Obama being reelected have disqualified Bachmann.

The “giants” tag team of the Obama administration and the liberal media who have successfully taken Cain out of the race, will repeat this process, destroying each of our candidates until the last candidate standing is the moderate they really want to run against Obama – namely, Mitt Romney. They know that Romney is a clone of John McCain, whom Obama defeated four years ago.

What is my point, you ask? My point is I am sooooooooo sick of our side forever playing on defense, allowing the left to control the language, empowering them to set the rules of engagement, and making decisions based on fear.

We conservatives are the good guys! Yes, I believe that God is on our side. Conservatism is unarguably best for all Americans. The liberal agenda is evil.

Here is an example of allowing the left to call the shots. During a Republican Presidential Debate on ABC, the candidates were basically asked if they knew what it is like to be poor. Each candidate began defending his or her success. The liberal moderator's question, which would never be asked of a democrat, was rooted in the stereotype that Republicans are rich white racists. Also, hidden in their question was “class envy” which is the main strategy of Obama's reelection campaign. Meanwhile, mega-rich Democrats such as the late Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid have never been asked to defend their wealth.

When did poverty because a virtue and crucial to being a good president?
In response to the liberal moderator's when-did-you-evil-republicans-stop-beating-your-wife style question, I would have loved for one of our candidates to have refused to play their game; to refuse to apologize or defend his or her financial success.

Speaking of controlling the language, a conservative pollster suggested that we refrain from using the term, “Capitalism” because it turns-off the Occupiers. This is yet another example of “allowing the inmates to run the asylum” – that is, operating out of fear. Capitalism is not a dirty word. Why should we surrender to the Occupiers allowing them to make it dirty?

God has designed life in such a way that success requires risk and backbone. In life, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Risk-takers experience what Jim McKay of ABC Sports described as, “The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat!” By the way, liberals believe that God's system is unfair and seek to legislate equal outcomes in the name of fairness.

In our quest to defeat Obama, due to his horrific record, we hold the winning hand. Failure would be the consequence of fear. It will require backbone to defeat our “giants” (Obama and his media).

We must not allow Obama and company to select our presidential candidate. This requires that we cease allowing them to call the shots. Conservatives must boldly go and stay on offense in our fight to defeat the “giants”, who currently occupy our great land, in 2012.

The Ultimate Devastating Price of Government Dependency

The devastating price of government dependency. I witnessed it up close and personal in the late 50s when I was a child. Both of my mom's sisters had five kids each by various men who simply deposited their seed and moved on. Thus, both of my aunts were totally dependent on government. They lived in the projects.

The oldest of five children, I remember when my parents and four siblings also lived in the projects. We moved out to a black suburb when dad broke the color barrier into the Baltimore City Fire Department and became a firefighter.

Still, it was a treat whenever I was permitted to sleep over at my cousins' home in the projects in the exciting city.

The atmosphere at my welfare dependent cousins' home was strikingly different from mine; a subtle sadness which made me feel a little sorry for them. I felt they envied me and my siblings for having a dad who actually lived with us. I remember seeing large cans and boxes of generic labeled foods, peanut butter, powdered milk, meat and cheese. As a child, I felt food was weirdly important to them. My siblings and I could go into our fridge anytime we desired. My cousins' fridge was off limits without permission.

Despite lots of extremely loud talking and laughter in their homes, both my aunts appeared chronically angry and bitter with short explosive tempers. A threat of violence constantly loomed over life in the government projects inside and outside of the home.

If you add up the financial value of what my welfare cousins received for “free” from the government (housing, food and health care) their annual income probably far surpassed that of my dad. And yet, I considered my cousins to be poor. They perceived themselves to be poor as well.

Of my ten welfare dependent cousins, only one remarkably “made it”. He worked his way through college and became very successful. The other nine never ventured off of the government plantation; seduced by the false promise of security. Consequently, they succumbed to alcohol and drug abuse and out of wedlock births. Four of my cousins' lifestyles caused them to suffer early deaths.

Clearly, my two aunts' choices, or perceived lack of any other option but to totally rely on government for their survival, came at a devastatingly high price; the self image and spirit of themselves and their children.

This tragic scenario sponsored by mostly Democrats has been playing out in the black community for at least 50 years.

A black man in the Oval Office affords the Democrats a unique opportunity. They can scream racism whenever anyone disagrees or opposes any of Obama's policies. Thus, his presidency is a golden opportunity to spread their destruction of the black family nationally to all Americans.

Why would the Democrats desire to do this, you ask? In a nut shell, it is all about them. The more Americans are dependent on government, the more Democrats are empowered. Also, the Democratic Party enthusiastically embraces all who hate America. Pure and simple.

The Democrats supported by the liberal media are well on their way to transforming America into a giant government-controlled plantation of dependent lifelong indentured servants.

For example, under Obama, a record number of Americans receive food stamps. Another Democrat tactic to increase the number of Americans dependent on government and voting democrat is to keep extending unemployment benefits which is now up to 92 weeks, almost two years. What incentive is there for the unemployed to aggressively pursue a job when they know they can sit on their butts and receive a check for two years? Rather than Obama reducing ridiculous costly regulations on small business which would create jobs, Democrats and their media partners are pressuring the Republicans to join them in further extending unemployment benefits.

Beginning in public school through college, liberals have indoctrinated our children, teaching them America is unjust, Capitalism is evil, they are entitled to the fruit of other peoples' labors and only government can make things fair and right. Liberal indoctrination birthed the Occupy movement; losers hating achievers and demanding their “fair share”.

Meanwhile, 47% of Americans, almost half the country, are exempt from paying federal income taxes. Despite the rich paying most of the taxes already, Democrats are screaming for the rich to pay more.

But here is my point. There is a scary question on the minds of decent Americans. The question is, have we reached “the tipping point”-- the point where teachers and professors have stolen the minds of too many of our youths; the point where Democrats have made so many Americans dependent upon some form of government handout that a majority of Americans surrender their freedom, liberty and our culture to big government.

Nothing in life is free. While my cousins received free cradle to grave government handouts, they paid a devastating price for their dependency. They lost themselves, their self-esteem, pride and dignity. They lost the joy of success after failure. They lost the pursuit of their dreams. They lost the experience of developing their God given gifts and talents. For perceived security, my cousins willingly remained slaves on the Democrats' government plantation.

Here is what Ben Franklin had to say about folks who worship security.

"He who would trade liberty for some temporary security, deserves neither liberty nor security."

Due to the lack of American history taught in our public schools, I would not be surprised if a student asked, “Ben Franklin, ain't he the guy who dated J-Lo?”

I do not fear for America because I believe God still has us in His Hands. However, I am extremely concerned that we have culturally and morally lost our way.

Today, it is no longer embarrassing to depend on welfare for survival. Many feel justified demanding government rob the rich to redistribute to them in the name of fairness and compassion. These suckers are clueless to the truth that the confiscated funds go to public sector unions which recycles the funds back to the Democratic Party via union dues.

But here is the rub. You government-dependent junkies do not get of Scott free. Remember, nothing in life is free. You ultimately pay a devastating price for your class envy, laziness, hate and fear. In the process, you lose yourself.

The criteria embraced by the liberal media, Democrats and some conservatives for selecting the 2012 Republican presidential nominee is quite clear. Imperfect conservatives need not apply. Conservative presidential candidates must have been born yesterday; not having lived long enough to break any of the Ten Commandments, make a mistake, say or do anything stupid.

However, in their short time on the planet, our conservative candidate along with possessing a “perfect past”, must display a masterful expertise of all topics foreign and domestic. Anything less means our conservative guy or gal is an incompetent idiot.

Then, there is the Reelect Obama Liberal Media/Democrat multi-headed dragon which is committed not only to simply defeating our conservative candidate, but beheading him or her and hanging their bloody dead carcass in the public square to discourage all future challengers of Liberalism. Our candidate is expected to flawlessly and masterfully battle this beast, winning every skirmish, lest we chorus that they are not quite presidential material.

Conservative presidential candidates unwilling to wear an “I heart Chaz” t-shirt are homophobic and vehement haters of homosexuals. Conservative candidates not having at least one Kanye West song in their iPod are white supremest redneck Tea Party racists. Black conservative Republican candidates are obviously self-loathing traitors to their race suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

Meanwhile, the requirements for the Democratic presidential candidate are a bit less demanding. The liberal media's and the Democrats' candidate can hangout with self-proclaimed America haters. Their candidate can say America has 57 states and mispronounce corpsman as “corpse-man” and still be considered a genius. He can travel the world bowing to foreign leaders and apologizing for America. He can wreck America's economy, hostilely takeover a private auto company, cram government-controlled healthcare down our throats, bully banks and funnel money to his supporters via government bailouts. A New York Times article reported that the Time's candidate has abandoned pursuing the white working class vote to target entitlement-minded, loser Occupy voters without anyone raising an eyebrow.

Liberal media and Democrats do not give a rat's rear end about the character of their candidates as long as those candidates further Liberalism.

Conservative candidates are expected to have lived flawless lives without leeway to repent, learn and grow.

Peter in the Bible was a cruel tax collector who cowardly betrayed Jesus. And yet, speaking about Peter, Jesus said, “Upon this rock I will build my church.” St. Peter repented, developed and grew into a courageous Christian ultimately dying for his faith. If running for office today as a conservative, Peter's former cruelty and cowardly beginnings would end any hope of him being elected; too much stuff in his past.

Moses began as a murderer. And this religious guy Moses wants to lead his people to the Promised Land. The liberal media would say, “Forget about it; too much stuff in your past!”

Conservative presidential candidate Herman Cain is a gifted businessman of character; never been arrested, saved and created jobs and touched many lives in a positive way. However, some conservatives and the media say Cain is a little weak on foreign policy and has too much stuff in his past.

Conservative presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is really smart. Actually, Newt is brilliant with great ideas to reverse the devastatingly destructive results of liberalism. Newt would eat Obama's lunch in a debate. However, Newt does have his share of self admitted poor judgment calls. Thus, some conservatives and the media say Newt has too much stuff in his past.

Conservative presidential candidate Congresswoman Michele Bachmann has a great record in Minnesota. She and her husband adopted a ga-zillion kids which speaks to her great character. As with all conservative women, left-wing feminists despise Bachmann. If the feminists were true to their supposed mission, Bachmann would be their poster girl; a strong woman successful in and outside of the home. Instead, for reasons I do not understand, an NBC program introduced Bachmann by playing a song about a “lyin' a-- b----!” Bachmann has been attacked for comments she has made expressing her Christian faith. Some conservatives and the media say there is too much stuff in her past.

Conservative presidential candidate Gov. Rick Perry has been super in Texas. Some conservatives and the media say Perry is not the smoothest guy in the world during TV debates, is weak on immigration and has too much stuff in his past; something about a rock on a property rented by his family for hunting which still bears the “n” word, put there many years earlier. Surely, the Texas governor must be a member of the KKK. Bottom line, too much stuff in Perry's past.

The rest of the Republican field of contenders for the nomination have not yet been targeted by the liberal media. Rest assured, whoever rises to frontrunner status will be attacked and discovered to be racist, sexist, homophobic or stupid. The Republican candidate will be stripped naked and made to suffer the humiliation of “gang allegations” by the liberal media. For example. Upon becoming the frontrunner, Cain was declared an Uncle Tom, stupid and a serial sexist by the liberal media (as the knockout punch) by the liberal media.

We conservatives hold our candidates to a high standard. And for that, I make no apology and proudly name myself among you. Still, I believe any of our flawed conservative candidates are far superior to Obama in terms of their qualifications, core values and love for America. So I will not toss every frontrunner into the unelectable trash can whenever the liberal media dictates.

But obviously, some conservatives believe all of our conservative candidates are too flawed with too much stuff in their past to enthusiastically embrace as our Republican nominee. So, let's just settle for the “articulate and clean” RINO Romney, watch him go down in humiliating defeat and buckle our seat belts for four more years of Barack Hussein Obama.

Repealing a ban on women drivers in Saudi Arabia would result in ‘no more virgins’, the country’s religious council has warned.

A ‘scientific’ report claims relaxing the ban would also see more Saudis - both men and women - turn to homosexuality and pornography.

The startling conclusions were drawn by Muslim scholars at the Majlis al-Ifta’ al-A’ala, Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, working in conjunction with Kamal Subhi, a former professor at the King Fahd University.
