This past weekend at the Wedding Extravaganza 2012, I had the opportunity to shoot a VERY TIGHT (5′x5′) interior 360×180 panorama for Windsor PhotoBooth. They wanted something interactive, so people could take a look at what its actually like to be inside their booth. By hosting this on the website, potential clients can see the inside of the booth, without having to step out of their home (and saving WPB from setting it up for people to come see it).

I set out again this afternoon in search of the owl again. Yesterday all the images were shot on a 5D MarkII, and i wasn’t happy with the in flight shot, so i went back with a 1D MarkIIn to try and get a few more in flight shots. It wasn’t hard to find him again today, as there is still a crowd of about 25 bird enthusiasts following him around. The owl wasn’t as active today and didn’t move much, didn’t dive down for anything that he thought was lunch. Being super windy out, and cold, i decided to give it a few more minutes, and it was the smart choice, as you will see by the pics below. One tip for anyone else out there trying to get him in flight, if you see him sitting there, and “goes to the bathroom”, he takes off very shortly after he is done. I am no bird expert, but 2 days in a row this has happened twice, and he takes off shortly after both. coincidence? I’m not sure.

If you live in Windsor and have never heard of this band, you must be hiding in a hole. This Windsor based band has had hits in the regular rotation on 89x and played live performances all over Canada and the USA. When they announced a local show, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to shoot them again. A great group of talented guys, they always put on an excellent show, and this one was no exception. Playing their hit, “Crawl Into Bed With Me”, and their first live performance of “All I Ever Cared About”, they rocked the stage, and even got into the crowd involved in some drumming.
