My newest project for this release is the ExportCKDfiles.kxc program. This program allows the multiple selection of multiple CKD files and then exports the selected CKD files to any file type selected as shown in this picture

Another option is for certain file types to loop through all layouts in a file and export the layouts as well. Wow, what a time saver! Best of all is it part of an entire package of programs and they are available very reasonable.

I just added two new programs to the free KXL program download page, they are:

GetAndSaveDisplayView.kxc which is a program that saves the display view by entering a saved view number or press F1 to save the current view. Then you are able to open another Keycreator™ CKD file and restore the saved view by pressing F2 from the program menu.

LevOnOff.kxc is a program that quickly allows the turning on and off of levels via the selection of a entity (or multiple entities). Whenever the program is executed the second time the level list is restored to what it was when the program was executed the first time. The down loadable file is a zip file containing multiple files. Please read the LevOnOffReadme.pdf file before using this program to get a basic understanding on how the program works.

Then last but not least I added my newest program called CircularSlots. This program has also been added to the Package deal.

It has been a great blessing to me and also to others out there that have bought it. My main goal was to cut down the time it took to create dialog box KXL code, since coding without this software is like riding a bike blind folded. You will still get to the destination, but it just takes so much longer.

Since my main job is to design plastic injection molds, I don’t have the time I would like to have to further programs I have written. It’s not that they don’t get finished, it’s just taking longer than I’d like it to.

Anyway, feel free to download the KXL Dialog Box Creator and give it a whirl. It sure revolutionized my dialog KXL programming.

I finally made my first big strides on my new website to offer some of the KXL programs I have written over the years. I know that everyone likes to see free software that is useful, so I added a page that only deals with KXL’s that are free. They are however compiled and have therefore a KXE extension. I will try to add some new files in that directory every now and then as time allows.

I do however also offer KXL programs that are working on a trial basis, and may be purchased. These KXL files can be of great benefit and are always a huge time saver for the jobs they do. They are compiled and have therefore either a KXC or a KXE extension.

You’ll find them under Keycreator™ – KXL Programs V8 as subcategories. As new versions of Keycreator™ are released, I’ll add the newly compiled files under the appropriate directory.
