Met these two gorgeous little fellas on the way into a forest in India. They were very cute and curious. Also on the way, we passed this hand lettered sign, a nice reminder of what the forest is all about.

More from the journey across the Cork and Kerry Mountains. That’s one of the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks. I had a very patient husband who stopped the car for me to take pics quite frequently on the way home.

We drove over to Lough Lene fairly early this morning as it was such a beautiful start to the day. It’s about 10K from where we live. This morning was nippy but with a lovely blue sky. There wasn’t a ripple on the lake.

The cable car connects Dursey Island to mainland Ireland. As well as carrying people, it also takes livestock across the 200m stretch of Atlantic. The cable car in these pictures is the new one which replaced the previous “biscuit tin” last year. It is amazingly quiet. When it was passing directly over my head I could actually hear the people inside talking.

Hard to believe this is Ireland in February. This was taken at an inlet in Glengariff, West Cork on the most still seawater I’ve ever seen.

Took this pretty early in the morning. It’s the view from one of the mountains back down onto the town of Castletownbere in West Cork. It was freezing cold with a bit of a mist and a light dusting of snow on the mountain to the left.

I met these two little dudes when we were on a trek in Northern India. I was delighted a) to stop walking and have a break and b) have these lovely little fellas pose for me. I love the expression on the little boy on the left, he’s got a bit of a gangster pose going on.
