I met Erin a couple years ago through a mutual friend and we clicked right away.  She is so sweet and I was so happy for her when she started dated Jimmy.  They really do compliment each other so well and are such a cute couple!  They are getting married in August at the Lido Yacht Club and we can’t wait for them to tie the knot! :)   xoxox

Newport Beach Newborn Photographer

Lori called me one afternoon to take photos of her little guy Benjamin.  We scheduled the session as soon as possible because he was over 2 weeks old.  Usually when babies are older than 2 weeks – they are not fans of me “molding” them while they are sleeping but we were going to go for it.  She came to the studio and had followed all the instructions on our information pdf to a “T.”  Benjamin was AWESOME.  He slept almost the entire time and didn’t mind me moving him at all!  I was shocked at how great he did and can’t wait to show Lori all his portraits.  Here are some favorites:

I met Melissa and Jon on the “phone” when they booked their wedding with Brian and I. So needless to say I was VERY excited to meet them in person for their engagement session. We had a lot in common and found out the John and Brian quite possibly played a show or two together back in the day in their bands. We scheduled their session after their bridal shower – so two of Melissa’s good friends came along for the shoot. They were awesome holding all of their “stuff” while we walked along the alleys. We are SO looking forward to their wedding at Turnip Rose!

Allison and Steven got married awhile ago and Brian and I were lucky enough to photograph that big day for them.  Fast forward three years and we are SO excited we get to photograph sweet Kaden for his first time!  He was such a cutie and very good – except for the fact that he did not like hats. :(   Bummer!  We got one in there – but it seemed like anytime we put a hat on he scrunched his face and got very irritated.  Mom and I were bummed but dad was TOTALLY okay with that. :)   He definitely loved being held by his parents and we got some cute one of that too!  Thanks Allison and Steven for letting me meet your little guy! :)

This wedding was in the back yard of their home- right on the harbor! Afterwards everyone jumped in the Duffy and headed to the Cannery for dinner. Very intimate wedding with family and friends- we are so happy to be part of it :)

This was the first time we had been down to Balboa Park for an engagement session – and we were in LOVE.  So many cool places to photograph – we could have spent all afternoon.  It is always fun for us to go somewhere new and different – and this place took the cake.  From ponds, fountains and columns, to grass, bamboo fences and greenery – this place had it all.  We can’t wait for Louie and Andrea’s wedding at Turnip Rose.  It’s going to rock!
