I know I should of posted this IMATS post Months!! Ago .. But I just could not deal with this post as ... My ex .. Went w/ me to this event .. & looking at these pictures .. Brought some painful/happy memories .. But now I am strong enough to look at these pictures & share them .. To you all !!

One of the #1 things I look forward ..2 the IMATS .. Is their artwork !!! As it inspires me!!!! As a makeup artist!

I do not know his original name, but I do know his nickname Taco!! and I'm talking about the makeup artist not that creepy troll lol. But back to this Taco guy, let just say he is very talented and he is responsible for getting me to love Fix Makeup and kind of started a domino effect, when it comes to my makeup passion. I see him every time I go to his company store Cinema Secrets <3!
P.S Cinema Secret is the BEST! Fix Makeup store to go to.. seriously if I had the money I would buy SO MUCH!!! product in that store,instead of fancy shoes or purses.

Another thing that I look Forward into the IMATS is the FREE DEMOS!! seriously!! As I saw a guy transform into Professor Snape from Harry Potter!

The IMATS in summer, was full of color, inspiration and great deals.

Wings For Warrior .. body painting picture are HERE!

I finally got the body painting pictures I been waiting for and it is the event I did on August 3rd 2012 in Long Beach.

As the body painter in the event, I was in charge of painting wings or anything similar to the theme of "Wings For Warrior,"to the models.

Which I have been practicing!!!! on my cousins ... <3! (Thank You!)

Once I arrived to the site and organize my stuff ... and........ patiently waited for the first model .. I then attack her with paint, and glitter!!!!!.(Hehe!) Everything was fine and was going to plan .. until four or five models came late and so at the end I had to rush!!! them out of my chair as soon as they arrived ....as the models still needed their glamour makeup and hair-do. Having to rush I felt like I could not do my very best...but at the end of the day ... the models like the artwork .. which made me happy!!!..

So I thank my friend Julie for considered me into this event, as I learn soooooo much!!!!

Each time I went to Lab Hours in my school... and kept on practicing ... and practicing .... every week.

My friend Julie recognize my work and told if I was interested to be a body painter whenever she hosts any events. So Heck YES! I was in, even so I was afraid and do not think I am ready but hey!... I am going to give it my best this friday and see if I am ready ... or not...

Those who already follow me on Instagram or Tumblr ... have already seen these pictures ... but not all of them .. as I tend to do two different design on each hand when I am feeling rebellious.. lol

Right Hand: Went crazy with any polish I could find... & took off my frustration on these.

I did my flame nails...but unfortunately it was an epic fail for me.. as it came out toooo crappy, but I am not ashamed to show my failed work as I am eager to try it AGAIN!!!! until I am satisfied with my flames. And this is why I went crazy on my right hand ...lol

I know I'm all late status with the Friday the 13th, since it almost Saturday the 14th. lol

But I had a urge to blog!!!

Why because I'm excited to share 3 things!!!

1. Is my face painting ...I did on my cousin at Ruby Makeup Academy, during my lab hours.

My cousin Churro ...trying 2 b serious .. lol

What was I trying to do ... hint: make him look like a rock... Still need more PRACTICE!!!! but ill eventually get there.

If I had air-brush gun, this would of look better ....but instead I flicked the white dots w/ my brush.

Ran out of time on the left side and I know burry picture.

2. Yesterday I got my first real client, it was men haircut and it was nerve racking but he was a chill guy who honestly did not care if I mess up, so my nerves calm down. I gave it my all and with the help of my co-workers .. the haircut look nice!!!! And nope no picture as I forgot =(

3. Smosh tweeted this video and I just had to share it ...Share it Maybe Cookie Monster.

Now I can slowly start blogging again, as Im climbing back from a break up of 4 1/2 year relationship

Its been 77 days from my last blog!!! post.

As many people do not know I currently broke up with my boyfriend that I have been with for almost five years!!! yes FIVE YEARS!!.. so besides me dealing with this.
And lots of other things like; finals, makeup school, work, Disneyworld trip, DRAMA!!! I MEAN!! LOTS OF DRAMA.. !!!

So much drama that I feel like someone is recording me and I could honestly end up in a NOVELA show!..lol

But now that I'm slowly looking back, I'm like DANG!!! no one is going to believe my crazy story..especially if you know me from high school etc.

Do not worry as I'm climbing myself up from everything that has happen to me, & I can slowly start blogging and post thing!

The reason I decided not to post anything till now is because I was not emotional stable and I honestly would of regretted posting things, as I was too frustrated with my ex, and I was not myself... till now

So I give you a picture of my cousin lips, that I did.... and once again Batman returns or should I say Jennifetology returns lol!!!

Thank you to all my dedicated readers as I honestly probably lost lots of them, due to my emotional distress, but do not worry as I'm here and excited to post!!! so much!!!!!!!!!! even if they are late post I do not care!!!!!

Green Glitter

Finally the sun is out as I check the weather all week and its going to be a week full of sunshine. So I might go outside and play some tennis or something, as today I decided to procastinate on my hw.. lol and have some fun. I will also update my cyber-life, so if you start seeing my page all retarded.. it just me trying to fix my page.

As the sun is sunny, it made the grass greener and thats why I decided to paint my nails green.
P.S my sister dog Kisa wanted to be in the picture, you can see her in the background-ish.

I use all these three polish from right to left: on coat each except for the China Glaze. which I use 2 coat .(Do not forget your base coat!!!!!)

China Glaze: Mistletoe Kisses
Maybelline New York: Express Finish: Go Go Green
KleanColor: Neon Green

Love China Glaze and Express Finish. But the KleanColor, not so much, it seems like a water-down polish, but i'm still willing to try it again.

Bunny Bunny Bunny

Easter is almost here!!!! and I had to post these cute bunnies today. So enjoy!!!!!

Under the polish bottle these # appeared: BCC 577.. so i'm guessing this is the color # ???

Used LA COLOR: BCC 577 for the first coat.

Then with X-Tream Wear: 21White on, I drew out the bunny head.

With Top Speed: 405 Peachy, I drew the inside of the bunny ears.

...

I also use 405 Peachy for this cute nose: and used Precicion, 21 Black, for his eyes.
They were all done with a dotter.

FINISH!! w/ a clear top coat....

Hunger Games nails : Effie

OMG!!! MOST INTENSE movie ever!
It kept me w/ million of butterflies in my tummy and sometimes with teary eyes.

Beside the movie being AWESOME!!! Effie makeup is extrabegant and I'm not surprise You tuber will try
to replicate it!!
All I can say its a MUST see movie and I honestly want to go again and sees it!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first thing I did, is use AVON Mirror Shine. Color: Blaze C. (One Coat only)

Then w/ a sponge I apply OPI Bling Dynasty and on my free edge-ish. lol.

Then I added a bit of glitter.
Hopefully everyone has a chance to see Hunger Game, because it is
worth seeing it!!!!!

My last week of Cosmetology School

My last 7 days of cosmetology school was full of happiness & surprises

As you read before I went to school night & day. Starting from 8am till 2:30pm & going back at 4:30pm-10pm.
So cosmetology school was my life!
=/

As Monday came my friend Edwin and I decided to make a wig, and donate it to Pomona Hospital

After two days of wig making, I decided to bust out my henna, and deck out the freshman. lol.

This henna was done on my friend Gary, which I loved how he keep pushing me to do new henna ideas,
that I would never have though of.

It actually started with an eye and soon enough it ended w/ the picture above.

Throughout the henna process, I was lucky to meet so many freshman and was a surprise to know they have the same problem as we do in the night class. Which then created a bond, and a little chisme here there lol.

As my last week was ending it was full of happiness, because I DID IT.... 1600hrs is about to complete on friday at 9:00pm. ....... to be continue.

OPI Orge-the Top Blue

Love this blue color, definity on my top 10 Fav polish color. =D

Now i'm eager to purchase one, since this polish is not mine, lol. I kind of swipe it from my older cousin, but she knows I have it, since .... I polish my nails in front of her. (I might keep it for a while... >D lol jk)

As most of you guy know this weekend the Makeup Show is coming to LA YAY!!! to everyone who's going, have fun and say hi to Queen of Blending for me.

Unfortunately I need to stay home and study my ass off for midterms and hopefully A's my test. If i'm desperate enough to go, I might go on Sunday as a last min person and hopefully tickets do not sell out.

What I got for $35 at the ISSE

On the last day of the ISSE, Cosmoprof had a basket deal, were depending what time you showed up, depended what basket deal you got. Luckily I arrived, at the right time and got my basket for $35 for any nail and skin care stuff. Which was EXTREME fun, because I was packing my basket while trying to record, but I failed to record since I was too excited for the basket deal. I estimated my basket and it is probably worth $300 and up.

Cosmoprof is not the only awesome deal they have in the ISSE, there was so much more and I cannot wait till next year.

State Board Kit

Before getting my license from state board, I had to first purchase a state board kit. Which was $125, plus a study book called National and State Testing For Cosmetology that was $45.00. Even so I only open the first 10 pages.lol.

The day I Pick up my kit, I decided to check it and take picture for anybody to replicate it, for school use.

Meaning you should only replicate it, if you're going to use it in school. Why???? Do I suggest this... because ..

1. If you replicate it, & forget something ... (you're chancing if you pass/fail stateboard)

2. If anything is un-sanitize in your kit, meaning it's dirty or it has hair Etc, you may be docked points, depending on your examiner.

3. Some kit company will give you free state board classes, as you buy a kit from them. (When I went to the classes I found them very useful towards stateboard news). Let's just say they were like TMZ, but for state board. They also give you guide lines in how to pass state board & helpful advice.
---They are the ones who told me about no more facials in stateboard and how starting in March-ish no more models are necessary for the state board exam, only a manikin, & a fake hand. (lucky!!).

Last two weeks of Cometology School.

My last two weeks of school was bittersweet, because I was able to go night and day, meaning I had school at 8am in the morning till 2:30pm and went back again at 4:30pm till 10:00pm at night. In total of 60 hours of COSMETOLOGY school per week ah!!! (This included my weekend =[ )

Yet, it was one of the most memorable day of my cosmetology life, because I was able to learn whatever I desired, in the morning class all thanks to a passionate teacher, who not only love her profession, but her students as well.

Why was I so crazy going night and day?????

Well it probably because, if you put 25 girls in a single room for more than 1500 hours, their bound to be drama, especially if your in a cosmetology school. There was so much drama and backstabbing bitches that they drove away a teacher to retire/leave of absence. But when I look back at it now, I kind of laugh because lets just say that teacher is not only an ordinary teacher but Platform Artist in the real world. lol.
-I also wanted to graduate faster, because of some time conflict with my Fullerton school.

So the first week started and i'm glad that two of my closest cosmetology friends were able to join me Adrianna Alvadaro and Edwin Garcia. We originality from the night class and join the morning class for the last two weeks of my cosmetology school. Luckily we were able to stay at Ms.T class, were she let us decided what we wanted to learn etc. We then voted to learn up-dos since we were neglected in that subject from the night class.

On the left side of the bow, I used a hair net: to control the hair & shape it.

I tease & knotted my hair doll so that I'm able to do bee hive!

ISSE Introduction Video

ISSE: International Salon and Spa Expo 2012

The ISSE was the GREATEST EXPO I have ever been, their was so much to do and many places I wanted to be. I had to pick and choose where I had to go and took many picture and videos, I will soon start editing and showing all the good stuff. For right now I have uploaded some pictures. Enjoy!

Nick Arroyo was on stage most of the time, cutting peoples hair, & his assistances cut my friend Mia hair on stage.

Of course a good hair show will always have some exotic hairstyles etc

You guys are probably wondering what Beacon is? I know it sounds like a bear and a Raccoon, offsprings but it is not. It is actually an educational program for students who are passionate and dedicated to their careers as cosmetology, Esthetician, or nail technician.etc.

This education program applies to students who are currently going to school between September 1, 2010 and March 1, 2010.

Becoming a Beacon member gives a students an opportunity not only to meet iconic salon owners, celebrities, network, new friends, but the opportunity to get creative, be inspire and see the other side of a salon chair.
