Hi, Jenny,
My name is Alicia and I'm a first grade teacher in California. My first grade class has decided to send stars to Sandy Hook Elementary School. We will write words of hope, words of kindness, words of love on them. I'm wondering if I can show your star painting as an example. We will be reading Cynthia Rylant's The Stars Will Still Shine and then using pastels to create our own stars containing our words. Please let me know if it's okay to use your work in this manner. Love your mural for a baby's room. Very talented. My daughter when she was in high school had painted a lot of big murals in the hallways. Love when I see people like yourself and her being able to do that.

I just love this tutorial. Wished my kids were little again. I really like the one you put a little candle inside. What a neat easy and fun project to do with little ones. Thank you for sharing it with us.

how do you add all the designs in the background like the sheet music and other designs i see on some of them..that is so neat, i love to paint and have never thought of that!

I was looking for a guitar graphic to put on a business card. I liked this one (guitar painting) and was wondering if I could use it. I play in the Memphis area so your art would be seen here wherever I hand out a business card.

Hey! I'm so glad you like it. I'm unsure of the total, but it was under $200. We had about 45 minutes each for two groups of 50.
My advice to you:
-Have staffers mod podge the sheet music to the panels the night before.
-Have the staffers watch the tutorial/make one in advance so they can divide and conquer during the project time.
-Seat campers in clusters-maybe four to a plate and water cup. One paint pen per group.
-Prepare for some whose hands are too shaky to write.

Hi jenny. I am a volunteer for our Camp Bluebird here in Louisiana. We were looking into doing a bluebird painting for out Oct. camp. I was so pleased to come across this tutoral. It is just what we need. I was wondering how long did you allow for the whole process at camp. Did you do any pre camp steps? And what was the estimated cost per project, or for your 100 campers?
