Parenting

2012-07-20T15:49:00.001-07:00

So I have happened across 2 different articles today about parenting. Both of them popped up in my news feed on Facebook. One talks about Intense Parenting and why parents mothers who do it are so "unhappy" or stressed out. Basically it talks about how you may be putting too much effort in to parenting. Some of it makes sense to me since I am the only one who does anything with my daughter, everything I do revolves around her. Sometimes I am lucky to eat before 5pm, and I KNOW if I had help I would not be anywhere near as stressed out and irritable all day. The other one is Babywise which is basically a method for new parents that can lead to Failure To Thrive, poor weight gain, etc in infants and toddlers. What's your opinion on this? Are you an "intense parent" and if so are you unhappy or stressed out? Did you use the baby wise method? How did it affect your little one if you did?

Baby Shower!

2012-07-18T17:25:00.000-07:00

How adorable is this!?! Healthy and adorable baby shower snack!! All you need is a watermelon, a cantaloupe, sliced strawberries, grapes, blueberries, and an orange sliced in circles. Oh and toothpicks and the passie! Here are a couple of more for a little girl!

Then you can throw some of that fruit in the blender with some Vanilla Profit and make yummy shakes!

Summer Storms

2012-07-18T14:50:00.000-07:00

Skinny Skin Skin haha

2012-07-17T14:52:00.000-07:00

Have you heard of my Bellanonna business? Its all natural luxury skin care products, and there are SO many different benefits with it! Like the Coffee Sugar Scrub for instance. Did you know when coffee is applied directly to the surface of your skin, it helps redistribute fat cells and decrease the formation of cellulite? The caffeine in the scrub acts as a vascular restrictor ... shrinking blood vessels, which helps to reduce varicose veins.

Then there is the Whipped Banana Sugar Scrub, it works wonders on dry skin, eczema, psoriasis, skin peeling and SUNBURNS! MUST HAVE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES!! We also have several clients who have stated this scrub has cured their children and themselves psoriasis AND eczema!!

How about all natural Cocoa? The Cocoa Dreams Sugar Scrub!! It's All Natural and made with real organic cocoa beans! Organic cocoa beans have skin softening properties, help smooth out wrinkles due to the anti-oxidant properties and they also help prevent free radicals!

And that is just a few :) If I keep going this post will take forever to end! You can find me on facebook at Bellanonna With Jennifer

Turtle, Turtle!

2012-07-14T15:02:00.000-07:00

How freakin cute! Have you seen these "Turtle Burgers?" Would you ever make this? Watch a video of someone making it? Eat it? Just make a burger, wrap it in bacon, stick in some hotdogs, throw it on the grill for 20-30 minutes. Yeah not exactly the healthiest thing out there but its adorable! Plus you'll be fine if you take fat fighters before hand :D lol. Seriously though its ok to indulge every now and then!

I am not too sure about the 20-30 minutes on the hot dogs, I think I would try to find a way to put them in on the last like 10 minutes maybe. I myself am just not a fan of blackened hot dogs. I imagine the hotdogs are stuck in the meat patty though. Ah well they look yummy!

How could you do that to a child?

2012-07-12T14:15:00.000-07:00

Vent blog. So yesterday I bought a toddler bed off a local classifieds group. I asked was the bed sturdy because I needed it to replace my daughter's broken bed. She tells me yes, she even had an extra piece made to make it extra sturdy. I told her great because my daughter's is basically falling apart because she is so rough with it bouncing and flopping around. She continues to say oh yes I know how that is blah blah blah. SO I send my dad to go pick it up since I live about 45 minutes away and have no truck. He gets it home to find this

This is the side board, cracked with a random nail sticking out of it!

This is the bottom support board(which was covered by a nasty mattress)

and this is the side board missing a screw. Yet nothing was wrong with this bed when it left her house, it wasn't cracked and it sure wasn't missing a screw and I am childish for thinking she sold me a broken bed. When my dad pulled up they were sitting outside, the man just grabbed it up and loaded it up- did not ask if my dad wanted to look at it at all. My dad gets home with it and goes to unload it and sees all the broken stuff. This is only 3 pictures, there are also 2 smaller support bars missing, the side rails to keep the mattress and child from falling off are missing, and the head board is cracked. How could someone willingly do this to a CHILD then blame the other person!? If I would have been able to go look at this it never would have touched my dad's truck! This just goes to show how sorry people can be, its just plain pathetic and disgusting. I have let several other people know what happened so they know to be wary of buying from her.

WOO HOO!!!

2012-07-11T14:38:00.000-07:00

Yay! The boyfriend got the raise we have been waiting on for 2 months now! No more so much living pay check to pay check! We have a little room to breathe now! Before we would have some struggles there towards the end of the 2 weeks, possibly even have to take some of the rent money we put back to buy food. I mean don't get me wrong all our bills are paid on time and we have food, but you know it would be nice to not have to worry about it right? Also our lease is up in 4 months, so I am now having to look for a new place! I am SO ready to get out of here though! I hate living in an apartment with a small child! It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have obnoxious downstairs neighbors who think we should be quiet and not moving around past 8:30. Either way I have found 2 houses for $100 less a month than this dang apartment. I will never live in an apartment with a small child ever again, it is horrible and not fair on her at all.
I can't wait until I really get going with this though and we can afford to buy a house. I have the credit for it, my boyfriend doesn't though and he is the one with the income at the moment. This is my biggest reason for joining It Works and Bellanonna! I want to buy a house within the next 2 years! I want to have one built within the next 5 years! And I want to paint!! I want to paint my daughter's walls pink, I want to paint my room a nice darker color, I want a black and white kitchen and bathroom! But most of all I don't want to live pay check to pay check anymore. I want to be able to give my daughter what she needs AND wants. I want to be able to go on a family vacation with out worrying if we will be able to pay the bills with the time my boyfriend would have to take off work to go. And I will have it soon! I will never give up on this! This is something I am doing for me and my family and I will stick with it!
Once I start making enough money I plan to open up a booth at the mall with my products! I can't wait for that! I would be wrapping customers while they shop, giving samples, meeting new people! I really enjoy networking with new people online, I really enjoy doing ladders on facebook- you can come across some pretty amazing stuff there! Just yesterday I found a page that makes custom children sofas, chairs, and ottomans in what ever fabric design you can find! How awesome is that!?

Who Am I?

2012-07-10T11:06:00.000-07:00

Who am I and why do I do this? My name is Jennifer, I am 21 years old, I graduated from high school in 2009 with a 3.5 GPA. I had my daughter a month later. After 6 months of looking I finally got a job working in a restaurant. I worked there from March of 2010 but I have been a stay at home mom since January of 2011 due to the Pilot Flying J merger closing down the restaurant. My daughter, Kylie, just turned 3, she doesn't have a care in the world other than Strawberry Shortcake, chicken nuggets, and her kitty. We live in an apartment- which I cannon stand at all! It gets so hot here our air can't keep it below 78 inside. I can't get a job until Kylie starts school because we can't afford day care at the moment. So I do this. I work with It Works and Bellanonna to try and build a better life for my family with what I can. I want to give my daughter the life she deserves, but I also want to be home with her. So I am trying to build a business online. Any and all support is greatly appreciated as I have none from friends or family aside from my mom who lent me the money to pay the start up fee for my businesses.

So this is who I am :)

26 Seconds

2012-07-09T15:38:00.000-07:00

How insane is that!? Worst thing about it is there is really no way to avoid it :/ Its just not possible to use ONLY all natural products. However all natural personal care products are becoming increasingly popular :D I personally promote 2 such products :) As you know I am with It Works- and now I have discovered Bellanonna which is all natural skin care products of which this one pictured below is my personal favorite :) Its the All Natural Coffee Sugar Scrub!

Did you know when coffee is applied directly to the surface of your skin, it helps redistribute fat cells and decrease the formation of cellulite? The caffeine in the scrub acts as a vascular restrictor ... shrinking blood vessels, which helps to reduce varicose veins. All these products are only $10 plus shipping, you can go to www.facebook.com/bellanonnawithjennifer to see all the products. This can help you keep a few of those nasty toxins out of your body :)

Of course there are still all the toxins in our food, the air, our laundry soap, deodorant, toothpaste, etc. So regular detoxing is still important! That's just what our wraps are made for! And as you may or may not know we also have lots of other all natural products from weight loss, stress aids, stretch mark treatment, lip and eye cream, etc. which you may or may not know that you can find at the top of the page in the follow us on facebook box :)

Yummy and Healthy :)

2012-07-07T18:05:00.000-07:00

Easy 10 minute meal for college students and busy moms!!!! Lemon pepper chicken breast with steamed veggies!!!

No more excuses about being too busy to eat healthy -_-

Season the chicken with anything you want (I make my own marinade using lemon juice and pepper),
Cook the chicken on a George foreman grill for 6-8 minutes.
If you don't have a steamer here is an easy way to steam you veggies...
Put about an inch of water in a pot and bring to a simmer, place your veggies in the pot and cover.. check every few minutes until desired texture is reached (I dont' like my veggies fully steamed)...
This meal takes about 10 minutes or less to prepare.

Tip: Make several servings of this meal and keep them in seperate containers. Each day just grab one as you're heading out the door.. NO MORE MCDONALDS!!!!

Breakfast Pizza!!!!!

Make an ordinary omlet using as many eggs or egg whites you would normally use (do not fold),
Once cooked put it on a plate and top with calorie free ketsup,
Get all your favorite pizza toppings and and throw them in a pan coated with PAM, cook for a few minutes,
Throw the toppings on your pizza!!!
Top with low fat cheese if desired! If you season you topings try Mrs. Dash (any flavor).. If you use salt in your omelet try to use sea salt..
2 large eggs - 180 calories,
Topings- 35 calories

Huevos rancheros with home made sweet potato hashbrowns and turkey bacon!!!!

Cook your eggs in pam to save 100-300 calories..
Fry your hash browns in pam also (cooking time varies depending on how crunchy you want it)
Use low sodium/fat turkey bacon.. cooked on a george foreman grill to drain excess sodium and fat..
If you don't know how to make salsa then you can substitute it with store bought!!
1/4 cut sweet potato hash browns - 20 calories,
Two strips turkey bacon - 70 calories,
Two large eggs - 180 calories,
Salsa- 25 calories..
Season with sea salt and pepper.... Enjoy!!!

This is an easy green smoothie I made today.. If it's too "veggie" tasting for you then just add more fruit or a packet of stevia...
1 cup water (more if you like a thin smoothie)
1 whole carrot,
2 cups of organic baby spinach,
2 table spoons of flax seed,
1/4 cup of cherry tomatoes,
2 cups of frozen strawberries,
1 medium frozen banana,
Optional: 1/2 scoop whey protein
Blend and enjoy :)

Healthy buffalo wings!!!

Cut a chicken breast in strips..
Smother it in a hot sauce of your choice (I use Franks red hot)..
Coat the strips with oat powder (blend oat meal into a fine powder)
Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees!!!
Place the wings in a dish and bake for 15 minutes..
After 15 minutes take the wings out and turn them over.. then place back in the oven for about 20 more minutes..
Once cooked, take the wings out and top with the same hot sauce you used before!!
Serve alolne for a snack or make a meal out of it and add a side of brown rice and a spinach salad!!
For kids you can use bbq sause instead of hot sauce.
4oz chicken breast - 120 calories

And the Scars Remind Me

2012-07-07T17:55:00.000-07:00

Who doesn't have scars? I have quite a few I do not like at all, especially the few on my face from when I was younger. Luckily the Defining Gel is amazing for scars and is also safe to use on the face! It can even help clear up existing acne if you have it! How awesome is that!? Do you have acne? How many treatments have you tried that didn't work? The defining gel is a live saver, just use it twice a day and you're good to go. It only takes a tiny bit too! Just check out this guy's results after only one week!

It works amazing for almost anything you can think of! Honestly I don't even know what this is called, but if you have it I'm sure you recognize it. This is also after only ONE week! You can get yours for only $45 when you sign up as a loyal customer :) Wondering how to do that, just look for the follow us on facebook box near the top of the page and send me a message there!

Never Give Up

2012-07-06T11:33:00.000-07:00

You can't let discouragement take over if you really want to be successful. Let me tell you my first few months have NOT been easy. Everything you make goes right back in to the business. BUT you HAVE to keep going! You CAN'T give up- EVER or you will not make it! You just have to push through the hard times and keep your head up! So what you were turned down? Howard Schultz founder of Starbucks was turned down 242 times! J.K. Rowling author of Harry Potter was turned down for years! Walt Disney's theme park for DISNEY LAND was trashed 302 times!! If one thing is for sure NOT giving up is the key to success!

You have 3 choices, you can give up and go no where or have to start all over again. You can give in with the same results. OR you can GIVE IT YOUR ALL and be successful!

Do you have goals?

2012-07-05T22:16:00.000-07:00

Do you ever feel like this? Its just about an every day feeling for me, I am literally stuck. I can't afford day care to get a job, I live too far from family for them to babysit. I can't drive. I am a SAHM with the same routine all day every day and I want to change that! I just want to say, no one out there knows not having the $99 to start better than I do, I had to borrow the money from my mom just to sign up. I tried selling things around the house and on ebay to get the money. No luck! SO what if I told you you can send me a message and I can tell you how to get started for only about $15!? You DO have an $80 autoship your first month BUT you will have that $100 from the 4 wraps you will get to cover that and your esuite the first month! You CAN get started! Just send me a message if you are truly interested in gaining financial freedom with It Works! I have goals and wants that I can't achieve without income! My first goal- I do not want to live pay check to pay check anymore, I don't want to struggle. I don't want to wonder if we can pay the bills without over drafting.. again... My second longer term goal is this! I want a house, a house with a big yard for my daughter to play and have a puppy! A room for her to have all her toys in, a HOME we can be proud of!

I want a pool for those hot summer days, I want to go on vacation, I want to take my daughter to Disney Land, I want to walk on the beach in Australia! Does any of this sound like something YOU want? Of course! just look me up on facebook www.facebook.com/jennywrapskinny and send me a message. Remember YOU can get started for only about $15 out of pocket! Remember this is still a ground level opportunity! Avon has 6.4 MILLION reps, It Works only paid out to 29,000 in May. Get in while there is still time to be truly successful!

This graph shows our average monthly income with It Works, where will YOU be this time next year?

Wrap Wrap Wrap

2012-07-05T20:19:00.001-07:00

So I have had people question whether or not photos are in fact the same person, SO here is another of my personal photos with results in just about 45 minutes. Face and all :) didn't get as good of immediate results with this one as i did with my very first wrap but I was still happy with it! I noticed more of a difference in my sides than my tummy which was more than fine with me I hate my love handles lol.

This is my first before and after in which people questioned if it was really me in both photos. Note in this one the after photo is 3 days later! The first photo I posted is about 2 months after this with no other wraps or anything going on during that time. Waiting to get me some more here soon :)

Using the Defining Gel

2012-07-05T20:05:00.001-07:00

So I am using the defining gel, have been for about 3 weeks now. I LOVE it! I was able to notice a difference within a week of starting to use it. Now I can really tell a difference in my stretch marks and my stomach is firmer. Love handles aren't as flabby- i hate those things! Its nice, I am very impressed! It takes just a small amount too! I use just a small drop for my entire face. About a dime sized (a little less)amount for my entire stomach and chest. Another not quite dime size amount for both thighs. It lasts a while! I still have a little over half the bottle using it twice a day! I can't wait to get more wraps though!

Which one is best for you?

2012-05-14T14:58:00.001-07:00

here are the differences between becoming a loyal customer and becoming a distributor with It Works!

Which one do you think suits you? Or you also have the option of ordering at retail price as well of course.

2012-05-11T19:58:00.002-07:00

Sometimes people don't understand the effects toxins have on our bodies, not only can they make you feel sick and sluggish over time of building up, but they are stored in the fat cells which causes them to expand which in turn causes the appearance of cellulite and flabby skin. Regular detoxing helps to remove these toxins and tighten, tone, and firm the skin up. Thus helping the appearance if cellulite tremendously if done regularly. Also there really is no way to avoid these toxins :( do you use shampoo, soap, toothpaste, hair spray, deodorant, perfume, paint your nails, heck do you breathe? Lol they are every where, there is no escaping it. This is why our bodies need detoxing.

Did You Know?

2012-05-11T16:31:00.000-07:00

Did you know Diet soda may not have the sugar or calories of regular soda, but it’s chock-full of other health-draining chemicals, like caffeine, artificial sweeteners, sodium and phosphoric acid. This is even more concerning when parents give their growing — and chemically vulnerable — children diet soda in a noble effort to avoid sugar.

And while I admit that diet soda may have its uses in the short term — particularly if you are dealing with a sugar addiction — I encourage you to resist it as your default beverage, especially if you are trying to lose weight. Different studies have been flying around on this subject, but a majority show that diet soda may actually set you up to gain even more weight. And they put just as much acid into our body. When your body is overly acidic your skin will not be as beautiful or youthful. It will contribute to looking older.
That's what these wraps are for, they help take all that OUT of your body!

Don't Miss Out!

2012-05-11T11:54:00.004-07:00

Does this graph of average monthly distributor income catch your attention? Did you know that since January we have added 30,000 distributors putting us at 50,000. Did you also know that the key trick to REALLY being successful is getting in before the number hits 100,000?? Don't let hesitation stop you, I can tell you how to sign up for only about $14 out of pocket to you. I need local distributors to host wrap parties with, then of course we would split the new business. Get in touch with me today :)

MY results

2012-05-10T13:56:00.000-07:00

Ok so this is really the only thing i have found that has actually worked. I have a 3 year old daughter, and for the longest time i have not been able to get rid of the last bit of my post baby belly, I lost most of it easily within the first year. But that last little bit was such a pain I pretty much gave up on it. I have tried so much its insane, diets, walking, crunches, the ab belt, core training, etc. blah. But here recently i found The Ultimate Body Applicator, its a detox wrap, it detoxes the area applied to and continues to do so for 3 days after. Ehh I decided I would try it, couldn't hurt right even though this is not a weight loss product it can help tighten, tone, and firm your skin through the detox process, so why not!?. They come in a box of 4 for $99 :s or $59 if you sign up on the site as a loyal customer, which was still too much for me at the time so i bought a trial one for $25. It has lotion on one side that you place on your skin then either saran wrap it or wear a tight fitting shirt. SOOO I wore it for an hour and a half, it was really tingly lol, and if i pressed on it it would tingle more. it smelled almost like menthol i guess, idk. Anyways after the hour and a half there were no changes :( but they are supposed to continue to detox for 3 days afterwards. SOOOO 3 days later WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!

When i can afford it I plan to start using them regularly, because not only is does it detox the fat cells where toxins are stored, allowing the cells to reduce in size, but they also help to make you feel better by getting rid of all the toxins/acids in your body from every day things like shampoo, deodorant, sodas, etc. AHA I have also ordered the stretch mark cream which I am awaiting delivery on :D can't wait to see how that goes! So sometimes its not that you need to lose weight, its that you need a good detox :D

NOW is the time!!

2012-05-08T12:06:00.001-07:00

Did you know that in 2 days in May our sales topped the entire month of January, and so far this year that there have been more sales than all of 2011?? I'm glad I joined, I may be just starting but I know I am going somewhere with this! I am ALWAYS looking for distributors! I NEED local distributors so we can do wrap parties :D :D :D Just message me and I can tell you how to do it at almost NO out of pocket expense to you if that's what you need, Honestly I had to borrow the money so I understand completely!

2012-05-08T11:50:00.001-07:00

Ok so I know sharing before and afters doesn't mean much if you don't even know who the person is right?

Well this one is ME after using just one of these wraps for $25. I was highly disappointed and just knew it wasn't going to work when after the 45 minutes there was no difference. An hour and a half later still NO difference other than smooth skin. But 3 days later :D :D :D
