Seriously, friends, its been a great morning. I've sat at my computer with these sweet faces looking back at me! It has been such a fun ride to watch this family grow in number and grow up. I just love these boys. So cute and sweet. We met at the end of last week to celebrate in pictures Oliver's 1st Birthday and Brady's 2nd Birthday! Momma always go above and beyond with the boys' outfits. And with cuties like these, you know the pictures are going to be great. Thanks, friends, for a super session!!

p.s. It's true, Cutie Ollie is graduating from Baby Steps. sniff.sniff. I just can't bear it. :)

This post should probably come with a big fat WARNING! I'm not sure you can handle the cuteness oozing from your screen right now? How are you? Are you still there? I mean, goodness, these children are over-the-top-ADORABLE! Yes? We met to capture Baby Sister at 6 months. Brother at 2 years. And Big Sister just for fun. And fun it was!! The sun was shining and fresh snow had just fallen. It was a beautiful sight to see. Add in these smiling faces and we were set. As a mom to twin girls and older sister to two more girls, it is always fun to get a peek into life with boys. And these boys are darling! And such good sports in the cold. Thanks for a fun session!

I always look forward to visiting this sweet fella and his crew. It is amazing just how quickly that first year flies by. But in the same breathe, it probably more amazing to watch these little babies grow and develop into cute, little baby people. Life is amazing. And life is beautiful. Isn't this just a precious child? I loved everything about this session. It just screams PURE BABY to me. One of my favorite types of Baby Step sessions. Her perfectly soft baby skin. Those eyes that sparkle and tell a story on their own. The soft white and pink. The white natural light that flooded in those windows. Those baby rolls. Oh my goodness. We decided to wait just a bit to make sure this baby was sitting up and it WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! I know Momma is dying to see these sneaks so I'm not going to waste anymore time. I'm off to click that "publish" button. Thanks friends, I hope you love them!

Sweet, lovable Clara Cakes did in fact steal my heart. Just look at this baby perfection! It was bliss to spend a part of my morning with Clara and her peeps. Beautiful boys. I could not wipe the smile off my face. These two beautiful boys and their sweet momma just made my day. The sunshine pouring in the windows was icing on the cake. Graham Daniel is a rockstar. Plain and simple. He was just settling in for a bottle and a nap when I arrived, and he changed gears and put his happy.face.on. Way to go Grahamers! Let me give you a little idea of what went down last Saturday. Like I said, he was getting sleepy but Mom and Dad knew just the right tricks to get their little boy smiling. We were upstairs. We were downstairs. On the couch. Outfit changes. On his tummy and his back. You name it. Then...THEN while we were changing set-ups, Mom sits Graham up. What? Yes, she sits Graham Daniel FOUR MONTHS OLD up. I was shocked and mighty impressed. I didn't even think to ask if he was sitting up. That will teach me.

Thanks for a super session, guys! I can't wait until 8 months!

Love, Lucas. Oh, he's a sweetheart. These boys (my first two sessions of the new year are families with two brothers) they are darling, I tell you. Don't you just love those little jeans, no longer than one foot long, and those bare toes?! Momma and I were talking about how big brother didn't get any teeth until close to one year but as I was clicking through his session it made me wonder...little Lucas could not get enough of his chubby fingers. Hello! Hello! I am so excited to be back to the grind, friends. I'm ready for a great 2012. With so many fun and fabulous faces lined up for 2012, I just know it's going to be super! Baby Elliott has the distinction of being JHP's first 2012 session and he was a ROCKSTAR. Seriously cute and seriously happy-go-lucky. Thanks for going easy on me, buddy. HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It's been a fabulous break! Hubby heads back to work tomorrow and my girls and I are home for one more week. JHP kicks off 2012 with a bang; next week we have a 4 month old, a 6 month old, and a newborn. Stay tuned for that fun!

Me r r y C h r i s t m a s from our family to yours!

We are grateful for the blessings that were brought in 2011. What a privilege to work with such amazing families. I'm excited for what 2012 holds, lots of beautiful faces are already lined up!

I am really enjoying my down time with my family. I've had just enough time to nurse my girls back to health after being sick with the stomach flu and strep. I even found time to get sick myself. Truly, though, this time with my family has been wonderful. Christmas pageants and concerts, baking cookies, visiting Santa, picking out the perfect gifts. Now we're ready to celebrate Jesus' birth and share family time with our loved ones. I pray that you have a special time celebrating Christmas with those you love. God Bless.

Way back at the end of October, I took that trip up to Michigan. Remember? Well, this session with my cousin Angela started in the dug-out. This was especially fun for me, since I ran these same bases and wore this same jersey. Well, not the exact same but you understand. :) Angela is such a beautiful gal, inside and out. And that made these sessions easy peasy for me. Angela is the last grandchild in my family. I fall somewhere in the middle so I easily remember her as a rollypolly baby. Can't believe she'll be graduating in the Spring. My fingers are crossed that she'll end up at college down here. Maybe I can talk her in to some babysitting for Reagan and Reilly?? :)

In other news, my camera is on it's way to the Canon Factory to get some maintenance work done so it will be ready to go come the first of the year. I'm feeling a little lost without her. ;) All of my current session disks have been delivered or are on their way. So I'm ready to settle in and enjoy everything this beautiful Christmas season has to offer. I wish the same for you and your family.

I don't know about you but I'm ready to jump on the too-cute-for-his-own-shoes train car with this fella. Those blue eyes just melt me. Mr C did such a fine job at his 2 year session. This adorable family, so added 10 new cute baby toes to their numbers. Clara was born in August and just like her Big Sis jumped on the Baby Step Train when we met up last weekend. She is a DOLLbaby! Just the cutest thing. As I sat at my computer to edit, I just wanted to reach right in and pinch (softly of course) those plump baby cheeks. I cannot wait to watch this pumpkin grow! Thanks for a fun session, guys!

We met up last week on a chilly but sunshiney morning to celebrate this baby doll's 3 year birthday. I knew she would look adorable and mom came through with some darling outfits. Baby doll brought her own version of darling and together they made for a super session!
