Life Is Good!

Things have been so busy lately, that I just can't keep up on here. I am not complaining though....I love my crazy busy life! Here are just a few pictures of what we have been up to:

We planted part of our garden, and the girls even helped.

They were so excited to make the stakes and plant all those seeds! I was excited to use my new Cosmo Cricket line and scrap it all ;)

I took an online NSD class with Fiskateer Rebecca Peck. We each received a paper pack from Colorbok and a kit with Fiskars goodies. I had never used one of their board books before so I was excited to dig in....here's my finished book:

It's one of the first books that I have completed and I am soooo happy with the outcome.

The other book that I recently completed was after the class I took at Paper Studio. Jen Davis designed a "treasured Mom" book and I took her idea and ran. You can see hers at here.

And here is mine based on her class:

I gave this to Curt's mom, and she loved it! What a great Mothers Day gift :)

There have been soooooo many things that have been keeping me busy lately, too many to mention. But I wanted to give an update on some of the highlights. I have to say that today was an amazing day! I put my Fiskars CFD training to the test and took a trip to Minocqua to the Paper Studio. I loved it from the minute that I walked in. It matched my scraproom with all the black and white! Absolutely adorable :) Micalea and Jen were great hosts and all of the ladies were so much fun. Thanks again, ladies I can't wait to visit again.

Another great surprise is.......

I have a Layout in the March issue of Scrapbook News and Review! This is such and honor! It's a Layout of my dad and Olivia when she was little. If you're a subscriber.....check it out :)

Speaking of Olivia, my BIG baby girl turned 10 at the end of March. I cannot believe that she is 10 already....where had the time gone? Just yesterday she was little....But not any more! I just cannot believe how big she's getting ;)

It's been awhile, that's for sure! But i have been up to some scrappy goodness lately and wanted to share my latest projects with you! I found some "new" to me papers recently and I just had to play with them....so I hope you like my new pages ;)

Olivia was our "Guest" server for dinner tonight, she even designed these fun cookie cutter shaped dishes for our deserts. I think that we have our very own little Martha on our hands! She had a half day of school today and was even invited to a friends house for a Christmas party, she had a blast. They ate cookies, and played games. S total chatter box when she arrived home.

Welcome to December...I have to say that this is one of my favorite months of the year! There is so much going on and so many things to do, I just love every minute of it. This year I have been inspired by Ali Edwards to complete a December Daily journal so that when all of the craziness is over I can look back and see what really happened! And being our first year in our house I wanted to capture all the new traditions that we will start and all of the old ones that we carry on from our families. I am going to track my month a little differently that most of the December Daily journals that I have seen due to what I think will be easier in the end, just in case I fall behind. Which is wayyy more than likely to happen if you know me at all. I am going to keep a record here on my blog so that once I can start to scrap it all I have to do is look back online and see where we were and what happened that day. I hope that you will enjoy my very December Daily! So after all of that...On with the show!

Most of the day was spent at Nana and Papas to take down a HUGE pine tree that was starting to lean towards the house. Curt cut down the tree and we all pitched in to help. Most of it will be used as fire wood. But at least now we won't have to worr about it falling on the roof once the snow finally falls. Lily was such a great helpfer today she even hauled branches in her wagon for us! Olivia arrived home from school just in time to help us with the final clean up for the day.

Hi everyone! I hope that everyone had a great Holiday weekend, and that you are recovered. We had a quiet thanksgiving here at home, and spent some time up in Northern Wisconsin over the weekend. It sure was nice to get away and relax. We even woke up to a BRIGHT white surprise on Sunday morning. The kids were all thrilled and couldn't stop taking about it! But by the time we headed back south to get home, the snow was just a distant memory. But it was such a huge difference that 24 hours can make! I do have to say that I am glad to be home though, nothing beats my own bed!

LIKE OK, we're here....Welcome to the 80's, and the Official If it's Groovy Blog hop! If you haven't visited the If it's Groovy blog before now is better than ever. I was a child of the 80's; I loved the music, the movies, and yes even the bad fashion!!!! I remember sitting in my room and dancing all the time, I remember changing from a record player to a "boombox" and getting my first cassette tapes. Little did I know that years later I would still love to hear that music and reminisce. My challenge, if you choose to accept it, is: Who was your favorite band? Did you listen to the Hairbands like Poison and Warrant or were you a girly girl and love Cyndi Lauper? Show me a layout that represents your 80's musical influence. Let me tell you...mine was totally NKOTB (New Kids on the Block) for those of you who aren't familiar! I had everything from books, trading cards, to the dolls and lunch boxes....I was hooked! So here's a little spin on their influence:

I have been a busy girl....and my scraproom is a disaster to prove it! Check out these pages that I just completed...I love them all :) Each one has a special meaning.

This one is of my girls at a local park last fall....it was such a fun day! We even used these to made our grandparents day presents.

This is such a great picture of my grandpa and Olivia when she was smaller. He's one of my favorite people in the world, and nothing brings more joy to him than seeing his girls :) (Dzia Dzia is Grandpa in Polish)

So Hoppy Together...
This one is from Olivia's end of the year field trip last school year. We traveled to Green Bay and spent the day at Bay Beach. We had a blast hanging out, eating great food, and going on the rides! These are some of her friends and her playing in the Wildlife Area.
