My Review of the Hello Thursday cartridges....

I think this is the best hello thursday in a year! :) I am in love with so many of the cartridges!

Christmas Wish (cricut imagine) is really cute. I like the color combo and it looks like there is bonus content on this one which we havent had on a pattern cartridge before. :)

Paper trimmings: i love borders! This is a must have for me!

Pet shop- I really like this. I have animal kingdom and zooballo already so not sure i need more animals but I really like it has a guinea pig and a cocker spaniel

Noah's abc animals... eh its ok. I think some of the 3D animals look funny. I know the kids would like it. The flat images look ok and I like that they included a font!

Go Canada! I shouldn't of looked at this one to write this review. I didn't want it til I looked at the look book! The images are so cute. I love the moose, igloo, beaver, coffee cup! :) I love that they included a font!

sweater weather - I can't see using this one really. the only thing I could see myself scrapbooking would be a ugly sweater party. a friend of mine had one a couple years ago and i thought it was so funny. everyone showed up in the ugliest holiday sweater they could find. a lot went to goodwill to find them. lol

Tis the season- creative memories cart. They made these images in such weird colors I think its turning me off. Its ok. I like the sayings they included on it. The snowflakes are nice but I don't need it.

santa's village for the imagine- must have. i love the old time vintage feel of this cart!

Ribbons and rosettes- this cartridge is top of my list. I flipping love it! I can see using it almost every time i craft!!

floral emporium. i will get this one eventually. i love florals.

stencil cart- not for me..

fast food- i can see making a lot of cards with this cartridge. I loved block party for the cool food. I haven't bought it yet so may get this one instead.

I havent posted anything in quite some time! I am been busy but need to make time for my hobbies :(

However I did purchase 5 imagine cartridges this week! I'm glad i've been patient because I got 2 under $15 and the other 3 less than $6!!! I almost have all the image cartridges. I don't have a lot of the pattern ones but i'm willing to wait on those for my less than $6 price! :)

I am so excited to show you my new copic marker organizer. Our local scrapbook store went out of business. I went on the last day and got this marker organizer for $1.50! Totally worth it right!

My focus has been more on weight loss lately than scrapbooking. I have lost 20 lbs this year. I have lost 38 total in the last 2 years.

I had a get together at a friends...Took me two days to come up with these four layouts and some cards. :) I think I did more talking than scrapping. I used cricut stone script on the mothers day layout.

Happy Saint Patricks Day!! So, My imagine has been reading low ink the last couple days. I had an extra color cartridge (or two) so I thought maybe I could print out a couple sheets of paper before changing the ink. Well, I printed out 8 full sheets and you cannot even see a difference in the printing! So I am going to keep using this cartridge for a while until the ink starts to fade. 8 full pages!! :) These pages are from the blossom pattern cartridge. I really like them.

And I got some happy mail the other day from Cricutaddicted Anabel. Thanks Anabel! I can't wait to do something fun for the kids with the heart puzzles!

Create a critter and the Imagine best friend cart

This card was inspired By Stacy over at Love that Bug. She is doing a create a critter series now. She also has a video on her blog on how to do a shutter card! :) This is my very first shutter card and I can see I'm going to be doing a lot more. Yesterday I got my Create a critter cartridge in the mail that I won on Letscricut.com

I couldn't wait to use it. For this card the images are all from create a critter. All the papers are from the best friends imagine cartridge. The font is planting schoolbook. Thanks for looking!

This is one of my favorite layouts. I did it awhile ago. I used accent essentials and opposite attract in the upright feature. I used the cricut markers with it.
My daughter Kennedy is on the left at 9 months old. Andrew is on the right at 9 months old. :) Miss the baby stage sometimes

I had to make an Easter card today. I got Kates Abc's yesterday and just had to see what it would look like with the imagine nursery tails colors. The sentiment is CTMH.

Hope you like it! USe that imagine! I love it so much! :) By the way HSN has the imagine ink cartridges on sale right now for $19.99 each! That is the lowest price I have seen them. I picked up two of each. They also had half price imagine carts but I left those be. I've been bad enough lately.

That didn't stop me from picking up two solution carts for under $14 each though. I got independence day and summer vacation.

I did leave the book binding machine though. I saw they have the yourstory mini one for under $20. Maybe someday!

This is a quick Miss you card I made. The sentiment is from CTMH. The coffee cup and all the papers are from the yummy cartridge. The image the cup is mounted on is one of the stock images on the imagine machine.
Very quick and easy. I put stickles on the steam :)

Good times and a Imagine Challenge!

So, I'm having a lazy day sitting around the house and playing on the computer. I'm loving going from blog to blog getting lots of creative ideas. :) I saw that bitten by the bug 2 was out. I loved the original bitten by the bug challenge blog. It would have a certain cut each week and challenge other cricut lovers to make something using that specific image. Well, it got me thinking...yikes right?
Wouldn't it be great if there was a blog that was like that for the IMAGINE? I think so!

So, I thought I'd see if there was any support for such a blog? I thought I'd start it here on my personal blog and if it took off we could give it its own site.

I'd like to start by challenging you to use the cartridge that came with most of our machines. Imagine more. I would like to specifically challenge you to use the cute sun image on page 4 of the book.

I am not sure what I'll do for a prize as I just came up with this idea. Right now I have an extra large jar of Silver flower soft for the winner. I'll add more to the prize for every 10 people that enter. How does that sound?? Off to figure out the Mr. Linky thing.

This is the layout we got to make at a cricut circle meet up in Ohio. Its been a while but I never posted it. It was made using the nifty fifties cartridge! :)

My Soccer Star

This is a layout of my son's first season of soccer. I have more photos of this season yet to scrap so no journaling on this layout. The font is from Micky Font. The papers are really a hodge podge of Ctmh, fancy pants and a stack from Joannes. lol

I hadn't done a layout in so long I think I forgot how. This took me a while to put down.

Imagine T Shirts!

These t shirts were really easy to make. I got some printable iron on fabric from Joanns and some t shirts from Michaels. The t shirts are only 2/$5 this week at michaels!

Super easy to make. I just put them in my imagine. The Yellow one was made using Everyday Cricut. This is a new cartridge made just for the cricut circle. The pink one is for my daughter. It is made using Kate's Kitchen. My son wanted a soccer shirt and of course I don't have the soccer cartridge. I did find a soccer ball on the Beset friends cartridge though. The font on that one is from Mickey font.

I did do test cuts to make sure I had the sizes right. I also cut at the highest blade pressure.

This was a little token I made for my husband for valentines day :) ahhh love!
The container is actually a crystal lite container that was empty. I covered it in paper. I cut the circle for the top and the hearts from the stock images on the cricut imagine :) That was about it. I glued it down with some tacky tape.

The card was made using my valentine present... :) lol I got the Yummy Cricut imagine cartridge for V-day. I just love the cupcakes on it.

Cricut Imagine Mr Frosty problems

update: I called provo craft and they are fixing it and sending me out a different cartridge :) Happy!

Let me just start off by saying I love my imagine! :) It is so awesome. That being said I am a little disappointed in the Mr. Frosty cartridge. I loved the handbook online so I ordered it. However, It is not showing up on my imagine the same as the handbook.
