奥地利特色之 Heuriger

回想一下，我确实算是幸福，由于姨丈的教父很喜欢到 Heuriger 吃饭喝葡萄酒享受，来了这么久，我周末有份被邀请去 Heuriger 四五次了。由于 Wiki 里面并没有中文版的 Heuriger，所以就写篇文章分享一下所见所闻，并介绍一下 Heuriger 这一奥地利特色。

1. Heuriger 是什么？

heurig 一词意为“本年”，Heuriger 是一个特别的小酒馆餐厅，这里专门提供本年的新葡萄酒。于是加了 -er 结尾就成了名词。

2. Heuriger 的外观与装饰

一眼看上去 Heurigen 人提供一种舒适的感觉，一般来说就是间大屋，有花园，部分 Heurigen 提供枱凳在花园让客人可以在花园品酒。有些 Heurigen 花园里面还有千秋和跷跷板让客人的小孩子可以在花园里面玩。室内主要采用木质的家具，让人感觉很舒适温暖，感觉很温馨。

3. Heuriger 的营业时间

Heuriger 和普通餐厅或酒馆有法律上执照的区别，不是随随便便就能开。一家 Heuriger 所供应的葡萄酒必须是自家酿制的葡萄酒，也就是说，Heuriger 的老板同时是葡萄园的老板。Heuriger 里面所供应的食物也有一定限制。Heurigen 的也不是天天开的，所以去之前，你必须知道该 Heuriger 在什么时候营业，要不然，去到发现根本没有开门。一般来说，一家 Heuriger 一年就在一时间段内开门，这和葡萄的种植还有葡萄酒的酿造时间有关，这样也保证了各家 Heurigen 都有生意。比如，Perchtoldsdorf 这个村里面某条街，整条街都是 Heurigen 全都开了的话就不行了。营业时间在执照上面也有限制。还有一个特色是，开门的 Heurigen 都会在门口插一条细木杆挂着一些草叶的装饰，他们不是叫开门，是叫 ausstrecken，意为把木杆插出来。如果该 Heuriger 有供应红葡萄酒，木杆会挂有红色的饰物。还有，Heuriger 的店名一般是用老板的姓氏来命名的。现在奥地利多了不少没有 Heuriger 执照，但是抄袭 Heuriger 风格的餐厅，这些餐厅的酒是另来买来的，不是自家酿造的，这些餐厅可能还会提供葡萄酒以外的酒，这些都违反的正式 Heuriger 的规定。当然他们令 Heuriger 的执照，就没什么所谓，这也不代表他们提供的东西不好，只是不是传统意义上的 Heuriger。我暂时也未去过这类仿 Heuriger 的餐厅。

4. Heuriger 的食物，饮品与服务

Heuriger 除了提供本年新酿的葡萄酒，还提供了酿造葡萄酒中的不同阶段产物。首先是没有酒精成分的葡萄汁 Most，原来用来酿酒的葡萄汁是那么甜的！一般会提供两个玻璃瓶或壶，一个是葡萄汁，一个是清水（自来水，这边的水质好，可以直接喝），自己根据个人喜好加水稀释喝。当然这些葡萄汁不是鲜榨的那种，是存起来可用作酿酒那种，是不是脚踩榨汁我就不知道了。第二是 Sturm，这算是酿造的第二阶段产物，看起来很浑浊，因此有 Sturm （英文：storm —— 暴风）的名字，一摇杯子，沉淀物就像被暴风卷起那样。Sturm 的酒精含量较低，大约 8% 左右，味道偏甜。第三阶段产物是 Staubige （英文：dusty —— 多尘的），由于 Staubige 所含的沉淀物比 Sturm 要少了很多，但是对比最终的 Wien 来说还是略为浑浊，因此被形容为“多尘的”。Staubige 的酒精含量为 10% 左右，比 Wein 要甜一点，但是对比 Sturm 的话，已经没什么甜味，喝起来味道已经非常像酒了。最后，当然就是成品 Wein 了，酒精含量大概是 12%。我来了几个月都几乎忘记英文单词 wine 是怎样正确拼写了，由于维也纳的德文名是 Wien，葡萄酒是 Wein，然后英文 wine 读音和德文一样也是一样。饮品除了葡萄酒产物就没其他了。虽然啤酒对于当地人很普及，但是在 Heuriger 里面是绝对没有供应的。

以前 Heuriger 是没有食物供应的，只卖酒，客人自己带冷盘食物（火腿，烟肉，芝士，面包，水果等）到 Heuriger 品酒，用餐，聊天，享受生活。后来 Heuriger 才慢慢有了食物提供。一家 Heuriger 里面必有的食物是奥地利地道食品 Winer Schnizel，就是炸用锤子打扁的猪扒，当然还有炸鸡扒等等。还有 Schweinsbraten，烤猪肉，和 Knödeln，用马铃薯还有面粉什么做成的味道淡淡有点咸但是香味不错，一般用来配肉吃的。我还吃过蘑菇版的 Schnizel，是一颗一颗的炸蘑菇。我上次还试过 Blutwurst，血肠，英文叫 Black Pudding 好听很多，虽然名字比较吓人，但是味道其实非常好。每间 Heuriger 提供的食物种类也不同，但是一般都是传统食物，当然各种沙律，各种不同类的芝士都有。如果不是正餐时段去的话，纯粹想品酒的话，有些人会芝士配葡萄酒那样品尝的，当然火腿那些应该都会有，不过我每次都是午餐时段去。除了这些咸食之外，还有甜品供应的，朱古力蛋糕，树莓蛋糕，树莓排等等的，还有吃完充满幸福感的热甜品。我的最爱是 Mohr im Hemd，软软的朱古力小蛋糕里面有融化了朱古力酱，然后上面又再淋了暖暖的朱古力酱，然后旁边有雪白的奶油。Mohr im Hemd 是奥地利地道的甜品哦！上次还试过了 Eis im Eierkuchen，大概就是鸡蛋面粉浆加热做成的 pancake 里面包着雪糕，看起来像 Omelet 那样，然后在淋上朱古力酱，还配上奶油。这个也很好吃，但是个人喜欢 Mohr im Hemd 更多。

Heuriger 里面主要是自助服务，食物一般是要自己去卖食物那里购买 counter 和付款后自己拿回桌，餐具也是自己在 conter 拿，如果所点的食物需要一点时间才做好，这样才会做好送到你的桌上。饮品则可以直接在桌上点。感觉姨丈的教父每次带我们去的 Heuriger，他都认识那个老板。虽然说 Heurigern 不怎么提供服务，但是可以感觉到店员对人都非常友好亲切。

介绍 Chrome OS 三个默认字体 Arimo、Tinos、Cousine

前晚下载了 Lime 并写了 live USB 在本本上测试 Chrome OS。我还真是第一次在实体机上用 Chrome OS，新闻测评演示倒是看得多。

觉得初次使用的向导很不错，教用户使用 Chromebook 的 touchpad 是可以多点触摸。

由于我是直接用 USB 跑，可以想象响应速度当然没有 Chromebook 使用的 SSD 那样快，但是感觉还是不错。由于我在墙外，我可以预想到墙外使用 Chromebook 用来简单的上网肯定会很方便。

不满的是字体渲染，没有 Ubuntu 好看，没我的 Windows 7 开 MacType 好看。不过，我不知道这个是 lime 编译出来的 Chrome OS 问题还是 Chrome OS 本身就是这样。网页平滑滚动比我在 Chrome 浏览器要流畅一点。我个人觉得 Chrome OS 很无聊，用起来就像一直把浏览器最大化，但是实际使用电脑时，我真的不喜欢这样一直把浏览器窗口最大化。这样真的没必要，而且看起来不舒服，遇到那些跟着窗口大小把文字对应水平宽度换行的网页更加悲剧。

好吧，让我最耳目一新的是 Chrome OS 的默认字体。所使用的字体很赞，而不是以前给 Android 用的 droid。我真的觉得 droid 这款字体不好看，很无聊。Chrome OS 里面，Sans Serif，Serif，Fix-width 三个家族的字体都是出自同一个字体设计师，Steve Matteson。Arimo，Tinos，Cousine 这三款字体是冲着 Arial，Times New Roman，Courier New 这三个老字体来的。他们分别尺寸上（用“尺寸”一词可能不太准确）和三位长老对应的。新的字体给人全新的感觉，也配合 Chrome OS，Chromebook 的宣传性，摒弃旧概念。

System Control Optimisation 一个补丁让你的 WebOS 设备跑得更流畅

个人评论：这是一个极其威猛的补丁！

个人实际使用感觉：系统确实跑得流畅了很多，用久了也不会觉得卡的感觉。

昨天由于出门时候忘记了穿口袋里有 iPod Touch 的夹克，于是等上课前没事做，就更新了一下 Preware 源看看有没有新软件或补丁玩玩，于是就发现了 System Control Optimisation 补丁，一看是新补丁，在看一下描述，好像很威猛哦！

以下是我的翻译（中文不好，质量不一定高，但是大意是准确的）：

这个补丁会改变 WebOS 中的 Linux 内核处理内存的方式，让其更加合适于长期保持开启状态并使用固态存储的设备。

有两个版本，一个标明给 Legacy Devices （Pre/Pixi/PixiPlus）用的，另一个则是给有至少512MB内存的新设备（PrePlus/Pre2/Veer/Pre3/TouchPad）用的。

按照描述这个补丁确实好威猛，但是会影响系统的稳定性么？实际真的有改善么？这些都不能看出来。于是我就 google 一下，找到作者本人给出的详细解释。

这个补丁会在你的设备创建一个名为“sysctl.conf”的文件。

sysctl.conf 文件是一个用于 Linux 下的，去改变 Linux 内核处理所谓的“pages”的方式。

Pages 就像应用程序加载到内存里面的数据。

当你打开一个程序，程序和响应的磁盘数据就会被加载到内存里，以作快速加载。

当你关闭一个程序，内核就会决定哪部分 pages 继续留在内存，保留多久，哪些部分则丢弃。

WebOS 在这方面从没有被优化过，内核处理 pages 和缓存的方式依旧和其他 Linux 发行版一样。（当我看到这里的时候，我感到非常惊讶！开发人员这也太不负责任了吧！）

但是 WebOS 和其他 Linux 发行版不同，它是运行在一个固态存储器上，并且运行着未经编译的 html5 和 javascript，这种情况下很容易产生内存泄漏。

于是我花了4个月时间去为 WebOS 优化内存管理，去让系统跑得更快和减少内存泄漏。

以下是我作的改动。

（具体参数那部分我就省略不翻译了，大家有那么大兴趣研究就点上面的link去看原帖）

简单地说就是：系统会跑得更加流畅，不会像打嗝那样卡卡卡着。

基本上 WebOS 会被内核控制得更加节省资源，内存泄漏会被内核更加激进和经常被清理掉。

2012 New Year in Austria

祝在看这篇博文的朋友新年快乐！

今年过年很特别，生命中第一次在国外过年。整体感觉是比我以往在广州都要好玩和热闹。

12月31日入夜大概6点左右，就已经能在街上听到或偶尔看到烟花燃放了。

12月31日晚是和这边的亲戚都聚在其中一个阿姨家里先吃大餐，然后大人玩扑克，小孩看电影或在街上和花园放小烟花和爆竹。晚餐：前菜有越南式的春卷，沙律，面包，烟熏三文鱼和越式猪骨粉；主菜有烤肉，烤鸭，彩椒炒虾，chicken nugget（麦乐鸡），甜品有自己做的蛋糕。饭后，虽然我和扑克接触的时间比一般人都要多，但由于我和扑克的关系只存在于 cardistry 和 magic，完全没有兴趣于玩牌赌博。所以我就到地下室和小朋友（表弟表妹）齐齐看《加勒比海盗3》，虽然我看过好几次了，还是头一次看德文版，听得不是很明白，不过没什么所谓，都知道剧情了。然后在花园玩了一会儿爆竹。我见大人们玩牌的牌那么旧，然后恰好我平时练 cardistry 那副牌也开始有点粘了（其实也是非常新，对于他们玩牌来说一点也不粘。）。恰好换牌后第一局，某姨丈抽到2只ace，很好牌，赢了，意想不到地给了我1欧，哈哈。然后时间差不多，我和小朋友和 uncle Chris，uncle Christian 都在花园玩爆竹了。玩着玩着，时间就差不多了，表妹一号的男友也到了，他带了 sushi 来哦！大家看到 sushi 都很兴奋，哈哈。然后开始在花园放大烟花了。隔壁左邻右里也都放大烟花了！也能看到远处的各个地方大家也开始放烟花了，非常热闹。然后喝香槟庆祝，有趣的是，其中有一瓶香槟是俄国的，颜色首先很深，比较怪，然后喝起来味道也很怪，我于是跟着 uncle Chris 喝了一口就把它倒掉了，换喝荔枝味的。然后大人就 toast，小朋友和阿姨就亲面颊和拥抱。其实我觉得西方的这些礼仪很好，人和人的距离近很多。人和人之间的感情很直白地表达。烟花之后又有得吃了，当然就不是像正餐那样。有充满亮点的 sushi，正餐没吃完的烤肉，烤鸭，鲜彩椒，火腿，烟肉，芝士，面包。这个算是 2012 年的第一个“早餐”了，真的很早啊，在凌晨。

如果在广州家里庆祝就真的没有这样热闹了。

当然这边5个家庭，庆祝什么都比广州热闹。

新年愿望嘛，当然是以后能留在这边生活啦，不过 visa 到7月底就过期。即使不能留下，也是一年美好的回忆。最直接的新年愿望是希望有鬼妹女友啦，哈哈。

逛 Kahlenberg

25号那天开始发烧，然后病了两天。这天有精神出去逛了。和表妹二号先去了 Kahlenberg 然后去了 Türkenschanzpark 。在 Kahlenberg 上面，我第一次看到这种制作纪念品的机器。于是弄了一个。提示要入 1.5 欧。我本身已经好奇，为什么要两个银币，难道成品是混合两个银币的？原来 1 欧是收费，50 cents 才是原材料。由于没有相机，所以没有什么图片，但是提供网上找到该景点的图片 link 就是了。

2011 总结及近况

2011 年算是好玩了！这年算是去了好多地方。

4，5月份的时候去了出差珠海，东莞，中山，这些地方不怎么好玩，但也算见识过了，见证了食在广州。

书是看了几本，只记得下半年看了这两本书。

8月4日来了奥地利做 au pair，学德文，体验这边的生活。

很喜欢奥地利，已经爱上这个地方。

少折腾 Linux 了，平时没怎么用，装好了 Ubuntu 可是长期不用。uncle 给我弄了台 Intel i3 的主机，由于他家只有一个显示器，我懒得经常换线，所以也没有怎么折腾，闲置了那台机，真有点不好意思，当时是让他弄来给我玩 Linux，学 web developing 什么的。不过我同时也意识到另一个问题，我想先学 Graphic Design，然后之后再学用工具把设计表现出来。

花了很多时间听歌，比以前要多很多，喜好也有点转变了。爱上了用动铁耳机，自从买了 UE Superfi 4，接着在这边买了 Apple In-Ear Earphone，其实我要求不算太高。

最近重拾练习魔术，其实已经转向 Cardistry，所以严格来说不算是练魔术。Cardistry 是伟大的艺术啊！以前的观点是，Cardistry 太花巧了，没有给观众像魔术那样的惊奇效果。但其实现在才觉得，Cardistry cool 到爆啊！

烹饪技巧大有进步，作为一个 au pair，一星期起码要下厨几次。受妈妈的粤式烹饪，和 Jimmy Oliver 的教学两种熏陶，我做菜偶尔会中西合璧。

在姨丈和阿姨家里经常和5岁的小弟弟玩，还要偶尔要照顾他，各种观察，算是体验了到当父母不容易哦~

想到要回去墙内真有点伤感，反正还有几个月的时间继续好好体验这边的生活。

昨天在 Vienna 逛街，吃东西的时候拍了好多 video 本来 iPod Touch 的摄像头就是用来拍视频嘛～最好不过了。
朋友们自己翻墙看吧～

在 Bizi 吃了 Pizza 和 Lasagne 超多份量啊！于是跟 Jojo 学了一句德语「我的胃快爆炸了！」

然后逛了教堂。

这里很多在中国觉得好贵的东西这边都比较普通。

至于之前提及的 Orange 3G 套餐是这样的，最便宜的 9 欧套餐是无限流量，不过速度没有 3G 速度。15 欧的有 2GB 流量（有3G 速度），超出之后也是无限流量，不过就降速了。
15 欧那个等有工作才办吧～

街头表演的人很有创意嘛！不过他们也要有牌和缴交非常少的税。

First trip to Austria Part 2

It turned out that breakfast are always not quite good on the plane. I arrived at Doha quite early in the morning and waited for transferring to Vienna. Due to the network bandwidth was so slow , I could only text my families by using Skype. For email and social network, it was good enough though. I waited about four hours at Doha. Exhausted but couldn't take any rest. When my flight was ready for passengers to get on board, that man whose job is to check visa checked my visa for like almost 1 minute. Probably because he called my name for the first time I didn't response. Well, I have never heard of anyone pronounce my name like that. How could he expect me to response to him quickly. I thought he was mumbling at the first place!

In Doha International Airport, the broadcast in English is British Accent! How nice!

I did bring a novel with me but this trip had been quite exhausted, I couldn't focus and read. I couldn't even finished one movies on my iPod Touch.

在候机的时候，用 Touch 通过 Skype 和家人聊了一会儿，然后 FaceTime 了 Cathy，很好玩嘛，由于怕登机时候被工作人员说行李超重，看到摆出来那个秤已经怕了，跟家人联络后，然后跟 @oceanboo 聊了一会儿 GTalk 后冷静下来，当然，还是有点紧张，加上困，于是带去的书在候机时就只看了几页。

I was so nervous that I would have to throw most of my stuff away when I was waiting for the plane. Fortunately it turned out that I got on the planed smoothy without encountering any trouble. This is definitely quite an unforgettable trip for me. First time to be on board on an international flight! Everything is new to me. A USB port for charging mobile devices. It's surprising that they even provided an Ethernet port, no wifi though. I wonder if passengers could really access to the Internet by that port. There is An LED panel for every one, it comes with a wire control which is full with buttons! It's a combination of media player control, full keyboard, game console control and credit card reader. The console also has a old-school touch screen, not responsive. I browsed through its movie data base. There were some new movies on it. Rio, Source Code, Hana and Fast 5, etc. You could even watch TBBT. (Well, I don't like TBBT though.) The headphone is not good. I couldn't stand the cripple sound quality then gave up watching any movies or shows on it. The credit card reader is for paying for phone call, email or SMS on the plane.

The main meal was better than I expected. The meal is much better at here. The taste is not bad. Maybe it is just the fact that Southern China Airway sucks. They served both Western and Chinese cuisines. Of course, you could only choose either of them. I chose the Western one. Mashed potato, beef, and some vegetable. (食物的温度很好够热，份量很靠谱，各占三份一，不会像南航那样只有两粒肉。薯泥牛油味很香，不过我不知道是用粉末开的薯泥还是用新鲜薯仔做的。甜品算可以。沙拉咸了一点。）

The guy who sat next to me is a Chinese (I actually hoped that a pretty foreign girl would sit next to me.) At least he was a nice person. Everything is good. 有点杯具是坐我后面的外国先生腿很长，于是我把座位的靠背向后降就会压倒他庞大的腿 (>_<) 于是我只能坐直睡。

果断地一上机就脱掉鞋，7+ 小时哇～

I didn't know how I ended up waking up when the flight attendants started serving breakfast. Perhaps the passenger who sat next to me woke me up. Or perhaps my dream were too confusing to keep going. I was exhausted but it was better to wake up and shook the horrible dream off. What was it? It was too messy to remember.

I chose the western cuisine again. A bit too greasy for me though. My stomach hadn't digested my last mean which I just had about 6 hours ago. Of course, I missed having oatmeal back home every morning.

如何通过 iPhone 把网页发送到 Kindle

其实这个方法适用于所有 iOS 设备（包括 iPod Touch，iPad），理论上 Android 设备也可以（未经测试）。

首先要介绍 http://klip.me/ 的 Send to Kindle 服务，这个服务允许你从电脑上的浏览器通过其 Bookmarklet 或扩展（好像目前只有 Chrome 的扩展）。

这个 Bookmarklet 是个 JavaScript，这样的话，即使你用的是移动设备上的浏览器，只要这个浏览器支持 JavaScript 就用了。

然后把它添加书签

保存为书签后编辑你的书签

修改书签的地址为以下这段 JavaScript

Who's cheating on Fruit Ninja?

Before getting an iPod Touch, I would never know how great Fruit Ninja this game is. It's so awesome. I'm not those guys who play games all day, but I would spend 2 hours playing Fruit Ninja once a while. With Game Centre, Fruit Ninja is even more interesting. It's fun to check out the scores of your friends and try to beat them. When I first check out the Fruit Ninja Leaderboard, I was so naive to believed that people could get 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 (also called "banana mode", well, maybe it's some kind of hacking, editing some files and changing some values) or 2,147,483,647 in Arcade mode. Like a elementary school students, I've been "hard working". I try to observe and improve my "ninja skill". Months past by(of course I'm exaggerating), I finally got 951 and beat down all my pals on Game Centre. (Am I make it sound like achieving some kind of success in life? XD ) I then google "how to get high score in Fruit Ninja" and saw a video that someone get a high score like those astronomical figures I mentioned. In that video, pitayas were thrown out again and again. I didn't count how many are there, but those pitayas in one game, (seriously, in one game!) were more that I have ever had encounter. I soon realize that they must be cheating! I googled and know that getting those high scores that I mentioned above requires installing a patch to hack Fruit Ninja. As such a naive and honest player, I certainly have no interest in doing that. I searched again and found out the highest score couldn't be too high, those excellent players out there tend to score around 1200(not accurate). Well, I guess I'm doing okay. A relief.

Then one night, I opened Game Centre and checked the leaderboards. My intention originally was navigating around Game Centre to check out its functions. (That was the first time I realized I could launch games in Game Centre directly.) I navigated to the leaderboard for Fruit Ninja Arcade mode and realized that I was in Top 5%. Wow! Then I some questions pops up in my mind. I wonder why someone would want to cheat in the game. Unlike those games require passing levels, Fruit Ninja doesn't have any levels, which means there's no need to cheat and get a certain high score to reach the next higher level. Then I'm eager to know the highest score among those honest player. Due to the fact that people are cheating, it's hard to tell merely from the Game Centre Leaderboard. So I keep clicking "show 25 more" to see if I have any luck to reach scores around 1200(This figure is just my assumption). I soon gave up clicking. Sigh... But I found that every time I clicked "show 25 more", there are always some Chinese IDs in those 25. Of course someone don't have to be Chinese to use a Chinese ID on Game Centre. But I personally think that most of them really are Chinese. Does that mean Chinese prefer cheating more than other nations in Game Centre? I really have no idea. Conclusion should not be made easily. Some factors should be considered. When a Chinese purchases an iOS device, the seller will help him/her jailbreak the device (some seller even charge for that) right away. Why? Certainly not mainly for using third party softwares. What they are after is pirated software. (This is for most cases, NOT ALL Chinese install pirated software on their iOS devices.) Sellers usually install a bunch of pirate software for their cutomers. So there might be a chance for sellers who prefer cheating and install the cheating patch for Fruit Ninja along with the cracked Fruit Ninja for their customers. Or perhaps it's too tempting for some Chinese to resist installing a patch from Cydia by simply a few taps to cheat.

*NOTICE: I'm not send out a message that warning that Chinese love cheating.*

From one phenomenon, cheating, leads to thinking of the use of pirated software, this another phenomenon. It's interesting and worth-thinking.
