I have spent an inordinate chunk of my career chasing fashion trends. I’ve lost track of how many times I have made the same damn button, just a little different—it’s prettier this time, I’m told.

I’m tired of being crushed by the same relentless wheel. It is time to simplify.

Escape. Rest. And rebel.

Let’s remove the gilding and look at what is underneath. Let’s be honest and true to the materials we are working with. Let’s focus on purpose and matter, not the easels or the plumbing. Let’s be mindful of the power we have in our possession. And, let’s take care of our environment around us, goddammit.
