Fuego, ND’s Fuego, ND’s The Club and the future ND’s Space: all done for since parent company Viashow Inc. filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on June 1, reportedly owing various clients, skilled workers and staff over $1.5 million.

According to a former employee, owner Nicole “ND” Durr’s four-wall deal with The Rio has been reportedly bringing in between $20,000 and $30,000 per month since the club opened February 12, not enough to float her multiple, simultaneous projects. Official letters were sent out informing ND’s creditors, clients and colleagues of the bankruptcy including Taylor Construction and consultant Neil Moffitt. The letters, dated June 11, instruct them to respond via legal council if ND has any outstanding balances with them. With a $25k grand prize on the line, they hope to embark on one of the greatest cat fights ever witnessed in Las Vegas. The top 100 women, selected over a 7-week period, will be their official "SpyOnVegas.com Hot 100". The voting process is done online and at the pool events. They will culminate the heated voting and stiff competition with a final event at Wet Republic inside the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on July 3rd 2009.

The Hot 100 contestants are required to attend events in order to qualify for the prizes. Audrina Patridge brought her family to TAO Las Vegas. There they dined on a menu specially designed for them by Chef Mark Andelbradt, including sushi and signature items from the kitchen. TAO specialty cocktails and rounds of shots were prevalent at the table. Audrina surprised her brother with a cake as the entire restaurant sang happy birthday before they headed to a sky box in the nightclub stocked with Grey Goose and Jack Daniels.

Desiree Veilleux Memorial - 1980 - 2009

I just got back from the memorial service held for Desiree Veilleux. The service took place at the Bellagio, with many of her closest friends in attendance.

Desiree was a very special person. The type of person that wanted EVERYONE to be happy. If you were sad and Desiree was around, you had a very difficult time staying that way. Her smile could light up a room and her laughter was contagious.

Where the world will sometimes shy away from what they believe in, it was Desiree's philosophy that you should always be who you are. In her words; "Take me as I am!... I was given a voice and I'm not afraid to use it.... I am a lot more complicated than the person a lot of people get to see. I'm very loyal to all of my friends... Hug everyone you can today because tomorrow is not guaranteed."

There is no mistaking how many lives Desiree touched. Below are some photos of Desiree and her friends. Included is a video that was played at the memorial.
