“Snowed In Snowman”

For once, the meteorologists didn’t disappoint. We got a real blizzard! Thirty hours of snow got us pretty much covered for a while (I hope). Our downstairs neighbors made this cute snowman in the midst of it all. It didn’t take long for it to disappear under a fresh new layer of snow. Like sand castles, it isn’t made to last. That’s part of the fun isn’t it?

Nope, I didn’t venture inside, although it might be quite an exciting adventure… I just shot the cap. Even though I hate driving on them, I have to admit that the roads in New York have a lot of character and are very photogenic. I love the textures and the ruggedness of the subjects here. Now it really makes me wonder what I would find underground…

“Where’s Jasmine?!”

That’s what Caroline exclaimed when she went to see her in the morning. She obviously wasn’t in her bed and the sheet was covering her face. Then she saw a hand… I guess she probably decided to get out of bed and visit us, but wasn’t quite that awake to make it past the cushions down below. Never a dull moment with Jasmine!

“Coloring At Uno’s”

After an unfruitful search for a toddler bed for Jasmine, we decided to stop by our local Uno’s restaurant. The waiter found Jasmine so cute that she got a complimentary fruit platter. We’re used to it, she’s used to it… Yeah, we’re in trouble.

A late evening uninspired photograph. That dresser is about to be chucked so I thought I’d take a picture of it before it meets its creator. I found the accidental symmetry to be interesting, so I stayed in the same vein for my composition.
