A couple of weeks ago, I looked out the window and saw the sun hitting the trees in our driveway. It was a wonderful fall moment that I’d like to share with you:

If you look out there now, there are no leaves left so I’m glad I grabbed the camera when I did! Have a great weekend, everyone!

Therefore, I give you…my three things for this week.

1.  RR – he is my center and my rock.  He was let go from his job last week (was there 15 years) and if he wasn’t so optimistic about our situation and willing to do whatever it takes to get work, I’d be a sobbing mess.  (in fact, for the first two days, I was a sobbing mess.  He handled it very well – hence the ‘center and rock’ statement at the beginning)  ;o)

2.  My friends.  IRL and online.  I have some really good ones in both places.  Without you guys, these past two weeks would have been harder to get through.

3.  My daughter.  She’s made me crazy over the years and there are days I wish she’d be more thoughtful but I’m glad I made the decisions I did that brought us to this point.  She is showing more maturity every day and for that I’m very proud.

Now you have my list – tell me, what are you thankful for?

This week, ToT is all about wasting time on the internet.  So, here we go, in no particular order:

1.  Facebook.

2.  Twitter.  (you can find me here)

3.  Hulu.  I spent an entire day catching up on Glee two weeks ago.  It was bad.  Sewing didn’t happen, cleaning didn’t happen and we had pizza that night.

4.  Artfire (that’s where most of my bags are listed now)  ;o)

5.  Martha Stewart Weddings (don’t judge me.)

6.  Google Reader – trying to keep up with all you prolific bloggers.  ;op

7.  Ravelry.

8.  Ancestry.com (and lots of other Genealogy sites.  They’re evil, they suck me in)

9.  Pretty much any website that sells yarn.  ;o)

10.  The iTunes app store.  It’s ebil.

Those are my 10 – where do you waste your time on the innernetz?

At the Warrensburg tag sale a few weeks ago, I purchased an old Brownie for like $2 with the intent of trying some of those cool pictures you see from time to time – the ones taken through an old, cruddy viewfinder that look all…well, cool.  I finally got around to it this morning:

That’s George, our resident Halloween skeleton.  He hangs out in the kitchen window in October, greeting visitors.  ;o)  He looks pretty cool through an old, cruddy viewfinder, doesn’t he?

I held back a couple of pictures from the hiking trip I posted about a few weeks ago.  The first I’d like to share with you is one that is kind of a juxtaposition – a fall leaf caught in an evergreen tree.  I’ve been attempting to come up with a clever title for it for weeks but alas, I am not talented enough to think of one.

The second one I’m calling ‘The Face of Terror’ – poor Jazzy hated the water at the falls that day.  RR was trying to get her to stock a toe in and all she would do was cower under him.  *sigh* so much for our dreams of getting her to play fetch at the lake…
